Here I sit as Hurricane Jeanne is taking dead aim at Fort Lauderdale - and my house this time - but they're not sure yet where it will hit. Hurricane Warning is from So. Miami all the way up to St. Augustine. Due to hit after midnight tomorrow (Sat-Sun). Hurricane watch into Georgia, and they just issues Tropical Storm Watch from Naples to Tampa on our West Coast. Geeeeeeeez.

Everyone on coast has to evacuate at 7am tomorrow AGAIN. This is geeting to be the new "Weekends are Made for Hur ri canes" (Sing to the Michelob Beer tune)! 4 in 6 weeks - REALLY starting to get stressful.

I should have left my shutters up after Ivan left town, before he came back to Gulf the other day!

Godspeed and God Bless all of us in harms way,

Good Luck

Steve

PS: You may want to lock in GTC SELLS NOW in case we don't have power for a few days/weeks/months!

Also - unplug your computers as she's hitting land - a surge protector is worthless in So. FL because of all our "normal" daily power surges

Mornin' Rev!

Now it looks like we'll be on the "clean" side as it takes a little jog north as it hit land in West Palm Beach - BUT you NEVER know. But we'll still get the hurricane force winds and they expect it to move up to Cat. 3 just before it hits. Look at Charley - was forcast to hit Tampa - changed to Ft. Myers - and moved just ever-so-slightly at the last minute and wallopped Port Charlotte/Punta GOrda area.

It looks like poor Orland is on the "dirty" side AGAIN (That means they get the strongest winds) My son's house doesn't have the new roof YET. Try and get a roofer up there lately! And if they get hit again.......

Did you see what happened to our old beloveds: UVCL and Ibiz yesterday? Too bad so sad. Had such high hopes for them in January but sold them months ago and bought some other losers!

Take care,
Steve

Getting pretty WINDY now!

Yep - the Weather gods think we have nothing better to do on weekends except to wait for HURRICANES after a hard week of trading!

Between, Charlie, Frances, Ivan, and now Jeane, plus CDVJ, you sure have it rough, LtM.
Good luck man, keep your head down, don't let anything happen to you. I need your inspiration to keep holding that POS CDVJ.

Hi gang!

Another "Near Miss" for my area. BIG Differene 50 miles north with LOTS of destruction. Jeanne hit land in EXACTLY the SAME place Frances did 3 weeks ago to tthe day.

I lost some more screening around my pool and little tree branches - but that's it. Again - we were fortunate and didn't lose power.

From West Palm & Stuart to Daytona Beach got slammed. St. Augustine has no more beach. They spent 17 mil. last year to truck in sand to fight storm erosion - and it was supposed to last 5 years! Friday they had 4 feet of beach left - now NOTHING!

Orlando is still getting 70-90 mph winds as of the time right now at 10:30am EST. They didn't start getting hit til 5-6 am. Storm is now moving toward Tampa. From there - Who Knows? They have 9 computer models going in 9 different directions.

I'm really sick of this weekend hurricane crap. Maybe I'll move to Alaska! LOL - Just kidding. But it's getting to REALLY doing a nuber on everybody's nerves.

You can see the damage from anywhere in the world on the weather channel.

Thanks for your good thoughts guys!

Steve

PS: Who would have EVER thought Orlando would get hit by 3 major hurricanes in 6 weeks while South Florida escaped them ALL??????????????????????

Imagine the odds we coud've gotten on that in Vegas? Like the same odds as CDVJ or Ibiz in it's current turmoil going to $1.00 WITHOUT doing a RS! LOL

To think Jeanne was heading north, and even east, then south, and finally west right toward Florida, is crazy!
