Ameritrade or freetrade. Ameritrade charges $10.99 unlimited number of shares. Freetrade charges $3.00 unlimited number of shares. Ameritrade has person to person customer service. Freetrade is pure online service.

I calculated another $200 to sell and who knows how much to get back in, not possible for me. I am currently about switching my account to Scottrade... do you prefer any other that would be cheaper?

Thanks, FR. Yeah, I'm getting that Freetrade is very no-frills, which is fine. It's interesting that Ameritrade owns Freetrade.
(Oh, sorry. I just realized you weren't replying to me. But thanks anyway)

I was with Scottrade for a couple years, moved my account to Lowtrades. I also opened an account with Freetrades.
Scottrade:
Not to bad overall but a bit expensive. The 7 dollar trades are for market orders only and you can't market order pennies, then again you wouldn't want to unless you want to pay top dollar for them or sell them really cheap. They do have their own streamer that you can do all the trading from except pennies with which most you have to call them to trade.
Costs: Market Order $7 Limit Order $12 Limit Order for Pennies $12 + half percent of total value Call in to order Pennies $22 + half percent of total value.
Lowtrades:
Platform for trading is cumbersome and at times slow and locks up. They do only charge $5 per trade and you can buy and sell any stock including pennies without having to call them. There is an extra charge when you sell a stock that is supposidly a sec fee. Support is by phone, however good luck getting ahold of someone. I have tried a few times and half was quick answer and the other half was no answer.
Costs: Buy Orders $5 Sell Order $5 pluse SEC Fee
Freetrades:
As the saying goes you get what you pay for. The first 20 trades per month are free then the next 80 are $3 the next 100 are $2 and the rest over that are $1. SEC fee is included with the selling of stock. What I meant by you get what you pay for is that people are right when they say you only have email support. Also there is no streamer that you can use and nothing extra unless you pay a monthly fee to use Ameritrades Streamer and Level II. However with the low trading prices you can't beat it. If you don't need to call them for anything then Freetrades is the way to go.
I use Medved Quotetracker and it integrates well with Freetrade so that I can do any trading and have a streamer without ever signing into Freetrades. It doesn't work with Lowtrades though so I have to sign into them to do any trading.
I hope this helps to give a bit more insight of what you are looking for.

I've been holding for a while and I wanted to see it through. You state you have to sell now - but cannot say why -- come on ... some insight of your thoughts would be most helpful?

My trade filled so I only have over 500k now. I found this on another board. Quite interesting.
Ok let us use a bit of math to really determine the current worth of QBID. Now market cap refers to the amount of outstanding shares x the current stock price. Ok, so let us use the lower end of 7 billion outstanding shares to the upper end of 9 1/2 billion shares outstanding. Get out your calculator and do the math. 7 billion x .005 = 35,000,000 dollar worth. 9 billion x .005 = 45,000,000 " " . So, if it does in fact take 30 to 40 million to launch (negotiating contracts with carriers, advertisers, subscribers etc ) then QBID is actually right where it belongs. Because there is no future cash flow predictions, sensible p/e ratios, or really anything to create excitement or future anticipation of success, the mm's and day traders have had their normal girations. However, once Q really gains notoriety, or national attention via the news and word of mouth, and once Viacom launches their version of a similar network, we will all be wishing that we had had more shares. But, with information so incredibly difficult to obtain, and with Market Makers (or non makers) playing the evalution short game, it should come as no suprise to see the stock quote where it is. If this network ever truly comes to fruition, many people will undoubtably get wealthier.

I use etrade, and pay 9.99/trade for all my trades. I also have an account with Ameritrade but prefer Etrade. I like etrades' accessories, like power etrade, charts and also, that I can transfer money into etrade account from my personal bank and trade with that money immediatly. Ameritrade will make me wait 5 days before money can be used.
Freetrade sounds like a bargain, but I'm not familiar.
Goodluck

Nice article, gives us a little bit of info, more than we have received from Frank these past weeks. But in any case any GOOD pr helps. The article does state that QTV is working on Sat Agreements. Someone from QTV had to give this info to the writer.
