These PRs could do more than just keep the pps alive until September. They may actually keep it going up steadily, leading up to the big day.
So this isn't exactly what we impatient types want to hear, but shouldn't we be emotionally prepared for this, if it were to happen this way? My opinion is it's all good. I opened a separate account just to throw my 1-year-or-more longs into (15% tax), and that's where my qbid sits today. Now, I think I'm ready to buy some more to just daytrade like some of you. By the way, I'd like to say that some of you here are absolutely my heroes, and I could never put a price on what I've learned from you. Warm fuzzies all around.
Anyway, discussion anyone? Diana, I'd really like to hear your opinion on this.

I think if they launch period, it's a success... it may not be as soon as people like, but better late than never. I'd rather launch a little later than expected, but with quality programming. Launching earlier with crap is a sure-fire suicide attempt.

Sorry for the late reply, I had to leave the board and run some chores.
It is $2000 total account value, it can all be in stocks or cash or mixed. You should be sure to read and understand the day trading rule. If you become a pattern day trader, you'll need at least $25,000 minimum. That is required by the SEC rule . You can get the margin agreement from from the Scottrade "Forms" page and just sign it and send it in. I don't recommend trading on margin unless you're an experienced trader which I am NOT!!!. You can make more profit but you can also loose more than you invest. Penny stocks are not "marginable" anyway.
Here is a link to the day trading rule. http://www.marketrade.com/myaccount/day_trading.html Basically, you can sell a stock you have owned overnight and then buy it back the same day you sold it but you cannot buy it that day then sell it then buy it back the same day with out it being a day trade. Actually , you can do that (day trade) but if you do it more than four (4) times in five running business days you will be designated as a "Pattern Day Trader" and you'll be stuck with the $25,000 minimum from then on. For that reason I try to avoid daytrading at all but I do sell then buy back a stock I've held at least over night. This doesn't applly to buying, then selling, then buying a different stock. You can do that.
I definately no expert on this so study the rule yourself to be sure.
BTW: I've heard some people using Ameritrade go ahead and day trade all they want because they say the rule doesn't apply to non marginalbe penny stocks and they don't hold and never have held any marginable stocks. Thats whay they said they do. I asked my Scottrade broker and he said I couldn't do that on Scottrade.

After the last minute PR to support the price last week I think its evident Frank wants the PPS to rise. So it seems to follow any soild news or even possible news would have been reported. June 1st was not mentioned and no effort seems to be made to get the word out for publicity to reporters news agencys etc. For those in to QBID deep the rewards could be high but play it day by day always be prepared to exit stage left.

Greek or was it Chinese.If all the summer holds for us watching TV is reruns then that may be an opportune time to launch something new.When our show is the only option to reruns it may get viewed by many more people that have someting new to watch.Then when all the other shows start their seasons then ours will have been watched and either accepted or.... If there is enough shows on line for the brief summer for interests to watch and for the regular season then it will prove itself in the ratings. My opinion doesnt count,I am here for the duration.

YELLOW ALERT doesn't sound very promising for today's trading does it? Is there any credibility to these reports?

at yellow you can speed up and get through the resistance or you can give in and bow to the resistance. you can get ahead by rushing the red or you can loose by giving in. you can also get a ticket if you get couaght.
as was said it is paid bash and really means nothing.
look at all the times that we where on the hot lists and sweet bugger all happened for the day. they are just opinions that are made by someone that is paid to make them.
