My "nomination" was in no way meant to really change the way things go around here. It was simply my way of telling Diana the I at least appreciate what whe does and don't mind her saying she represents a group of investors. I was also trying to do it with some humor and provide a fun mechanism for others to also express their appreciation.

WOOOT

but now I must ask... I am getting old I suppose (at a mere 25 years old), because this "woot" thing has me baffled. My step kids run around saying it, and I see young people using it on the net. WTF is a "woot"?

Is it like my redneck holler of "WOOOOHOOOO!"?

Events are lining up as they need to for the timelines to be met.
Once we have backing of a major sponser, probably within the next two weeks based on events mentioned, we will see a whole new territory for QBID's PPS.

I have a question:

I put my email on here the other day and have gotten a dozen emails from names I don't recognize. They ALL have attachments! Not one will say anything in the email, and there's no way I'm opening the attachments!

This is a relatively new account and I had no unknown emails before. Has anyone else received these after displaying your address?

Are these just lurkers spamming me? Has anyone else opened these attachments?

Thanks,

The Booty Master

Booty,

I get these also and I won't even open them.

No subject and nothing in the body usually means that the attachment is a virus or trojan. I would recommend that you delete them without opening them.

But hey, I defer to your more masculine rating....heh heh ...French maid or the red dress w/high heels.... <grin>

When posting your e-mail address it's recommended that you 'disguise' it just a little... There are bots (scripts if you will) that just search through forums looking for name@domain.com and add it to their spam database. There are also viruses that look through peoples hard drives scavenging through files for email addresses.

Some examples of what can reduce it:

name at domain dot com
name (at) domain (dot) com
name.at.domain.com
name (replace with @) domain (replace with dot) com
etc...

So people can't just cut and paste but the spam/viruses you will avoid are well worth it.

I'll thrice that motion - Great job as always Diana.

Great pics Cash.

Great point brought up by another board regarding the price for programming....I sort of agree with this comment below what do you think?

*****************************************
Not gay but my best friend from childhood is. And I have spoken to him and his friends about this channel, they all agree if the price was fair they would subscribe. one pointed out that why should have to pay for such a channel when he can get BET, Lifetime, HGTV and others with his basic service. I thought that was a good point
As for the other channels:

BET-comes with basic cable and I do watch that sometimes. when there is a good show on.
QTV-sure I would watch that as well. Remember this is not going to be porn channel. right?
Bravo-Querr eye is a great show. I dress a little better now
AL-TV-not in a million years. enough said.
