Just trying to make light of what's going on ... at any rate, my comment has no effect on whether QTV is good business or not. It either is or is not. If my comment has any effect then you can safely assume that QTV has no substance; rather, it's just a totem pole that we're all worshipping (except for that heathen, Robin).

I said I appreciate the L2's.. but find it funny that everyone is now saying stuff like "oh I saw this one coming.." when a month ago the predictions for the first two weeks of May were ranging from .15 up to $1.00 from some people.
btw, Robin is derived from Robert, just like Dave is derived from David, Mike from Michael, etc.

Chuck- Not knocking you, but I dont understand...I never played dips before....but, Why would you be selling a ton of shares at these low levels at 3pm? What if your order went thru now and tomorow the price is up in the .015 or more range? You would lose out and may never get back in? Shouldnt you do this during the day? So by you selling at that price/time, your expecting this to go lower tomorow?

I placed a call to QTV yesterday and left a message. Today, they called back and I had a pleasant and reassuring conversation with Susan. We had some common ground since we both are from/in Chicago. She grew up here. Anyway, I did ask her if the soft launch is on schedule. The answer was yes. I also asked her how the convention went. She said the exposure and business contacts "exceeded their expectations." She also stated that the updates on the hotline are the avenue they chose currently due to the demands of the convention. She felt certain there would be a more formal statement issued next week when the troops are back in the office. All in all the business is moving in the right direction. Very positive indeed. The exposure at the convention was excellent. I hope this helps....it helped me in continuing my long hold for a network that surprisingly isn't already in commercial operation. The time has come!

All this sniping is not constructive....if nothing else all of us should be trying to figure a way to increase the exposure of Qtelevision to the point that Frank and company either launch or can be held accountable by shareholders. Use the dd at hand for this as it contains the press releases authorized by the company.
This petty bickering is pointless...things change and REMEMBER Change IS the ONLY CONSTANT in the universe.
Good Job at the Convention CASH....Helluva Job.
Thanks for the humor all and keep it very real. GLTA

There's what you said, Robert.
Just try to make your point constructively. All your words seem to point toward you wanting us to sell. We all make mistakes!
It's more because we really hope it will be at those high prices. We're dreaming out loud.
I swore we'd see a nickel a month ago. Last week I said Friday was the last day to get a good deal.
I'm wrong all the dang time. So why rub it in our faces. I hope I'm wrong about you.

YOU CAN EITHER DEDUCT 40% TO MAKE SURE YOUR BUTT IS COVERED OR DRAW UP A LITTLE AGREEMTENT THAT SAYS YOUR HOLDING X-DOLLARS FOR JOHN AND THAT WHEN YOU PAY HIM, HE'S RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TAXES, EXCHANGE FEE'S, ETC. UPON SETTLEMENT.
I USE THE AGREEMENT. WHEN I SUBMIT THE CHECKS, I PUT IN THE MEMO A NOTE PER OUR AGREEMENT.
THEY ARE TECHNICALLY USING YOU AS A BROKER TO BUY AND SELL FOR THEM. JUST LIKE AMERITRADE ISN'T RESPONSBILE FOR YOU; YOU ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM.
NOTHING FANCY, JUST A BRIEF AGREEMENT.

Australian bricklayer's report
Possibly the funniest story in a long while. This is a bricklayer's accident report, which was printed in the newsletter of the Australian equivalent of the Workers' Compensation board. This is a true story. Had this guy died, he'd have received a Darwin Award for sure.......
Dear Sir,
I am writing in response to your request for additional information in Block 3 of the accident report form. I put "poor planning" as the cause of my accident. You asked for a fuller explanation and I trust the following details will be sufficient.
I am a bricklayer by trade. On the day of the accident, I was working alone on the roof of a new six-story building. When I completed my work, I found that I had some bricks left over which, when weighed later were found to be slightly in excess of 500lbs. Rather than carry the bricks down by hand I decided to lower them in a barrel by using a pulley, which was attached to the side of the building on the sixth floor. Securing the rope at ground level, I went up to the roof, swung the barrel out and loaded the bricks into it. Then I went down and untied the rope, holding it tightly to ensure a slow descent of the bricks.
You will note in Block 11 of the accident report form that I weigh 135lbs. Due to my surprise at being jerked off the ground so suddenly, I lost my presence of mind and forgot to let go of the rope. Needless to say, I proceeded at a rapid rate up the side of the building. In the vicinity of the third floor, I met the barrel, which was now proceeding downward at an equally impressive speed. This explained the fractured skull, minor abrasions and the broken collar bone, as listed in section 3 of the accident report form.
Slowed only slightly, I continued my rapid ascent, not stopping until the fingers of my right hand were two knuckles deep into the pulley. Fortunately by this time I had regained my presence of mind and was able to hold tightly to the rope, in spite of beginning to experience pain. At approximately the same time, however, the barrel of bricks hit the ground and the bottom fell out of the barrel. Now devoid of the weight of the bricks, that barrel weighed approximately 50 lbs. I refer you again to my weight. As you can imagine, I began a rapid descent, down the side of the building. In the vicinity of the third floor, I met the barrel coming up. This accounts for the two fractured ankles, broken tooth and several lacerations of my legs and lower body.
Here my luck began to change slightly. The encounter with the barrel seemed to slow me enough to lessen my injuries when I fell into the pile of bricks and fortunately only three vertebrae were cracked. I am sorry to report, however, as I lay there on the pile of bricks, in pain, unable to move, I again lost my composure and presence of mind and let go of the rope and I lay there watching the empty barrel begin its journey back down onto me. This explains the two broken legs.

Nope.. In fact I usually throw in my disclaimer line that I'm still in since .0017 and waiting for May 15 to see what happens before I even think about selling. I've said in many posts in the last 300 or so pages that I could care less where the pps is, as long as they do what they set out to do. If they do the soft launch May 15 and the real launch soon thereafter, that's all I ask. I'm just a bit annoyed at a) all the BS hype, cheerleading, and nonsensical speculation, and b) the bad feeling I'm getting about the company.
But here I go repeating myself again: Hiring Deveney is the best thing they could have done, I just wish they had done it MONTHS ago. Bringing them on board *should* work wonders for getting this thing off the ground. Right now that's the single biggest factor that's kept me hanging on. Looking forward to positive PR next week.

I WISH I HAD THE GUTS TO PLAY THE BOUNCE ON THIS. FOR ME, IT'S AN UNACCEPTABLE RISK TO PLAY THE BOUNCE ON THIS STOCK IN PARTICULAR DUE TO I HAVE SO MUCH RIDING ON IT.
IF I PLAYED THE BOUNCE, I COULD BE UP $150,000 RIGHT NOW JUST ON BOUNCE MONEY.
BUT THAT $150,000 COULD COME WITH A VERY HIGH RISK. IF, JUST IF IT SHOOTS UP AND KEEPS GOING, THAT $150,000 I THINK I'D BE AHEAD RIGHT NOW COULD END UP COSTING ME $300,000-$500,000 DOWN THE ROAD IF I GET CAUGHT WITH MY PANTS DOWN.
I KNOW QBID IS GOING UP. I KNOW IT'S GONNA HIT $1 THEN $2 TO START MY EXIT. WHAT I DON'T KNOW IS IF THE BOUNCE WILL BOUNCE OR SCREW ME. WOULD I HAVE LIKED TO KNOW THAT AT .02 IT WAS GONNA DROP TO .0135 AND SAVE THAT $13,000 I SPENT. OF COARSE I WOULD! BUT GUESS WHAT, I STILL GOT QBID.
JUST LIKE NOW AT .0135 RIGHT NOW AT 3:36PM ON MAY 5, 2004, WILL IT DROP TO .008 OR WILL IT SHOOT UP TO .05?

Whether my opinion is regarded or not, I generally give it when I feel the need. At best, it gets people to thinking and at worse, I look like an "arse"...which at this stage of my life, it just don't matter.
I don't claim to know the wheeling and dealing going on with the stocks. But what I see is a group of people (Frank, etc.) who are investing their blood, sweat and tears into a vision that they believe in. I see them learning from their mistakes and backing up 10 yards and punting when it's necessary. I see average people willing to put their abilities out on the table for all to scrutinize.
This forum is awesome in that there are those who question and scrutinize...that's a good thing. After four years working with people via the internet, believe me I know how easy it is to be misunderstood. Some of the people who know me in my everyday role on the internet think I'm a pompous arse at times because of my straight-talk, no fluff written word. When this happens, I weigh the importance of the situation and act accordingly by either explaining myself or letting it go. The most important thing IMHO is to (1) not take it personally, (2) respond not react, (3) don't put in writing anything you can't support factually and (4) try to not say anything you'll be sorry for later.
Here we are dealing with money issues...people in general are more sensitive and more critical when money is involved.
My point is, take it easy on yourself and each other. Like most of you, I've got "pipe dreams" too and they've been a bit battered the past few days. But when they were good...they were really good. I choose to hang on to the dream but only invest that which I am ready and able to lose...and I don't mean just money!
