Year after year, the electronic gaming industry sees dynamic changes and continued growth. This certainly held true in 2002. Industry analysts predict that worldwide sales this year could exceed $20 billion demonstrating that the industry is all but immune to the economic recession. On-line gaming continues to grow by 50 percent a year. On-line gaming parlors, popular in Korea and Japan, are beginning to appear in American cities. As game graphics and imagery get ever closer to motion picture quality, the games become more realistic, exciting, and attractive to young players. More children and youth are playing than ever before. Ninety-two percent of youngsters ages 2-17 now play video or computer games.

Raven... I knew you were right about this... Good job as always! Wallpaper indeed. Those sneaky MM's! mach

Maybe Magoo and his friends decided to "raise the bar" and catch the MM off guard. They all ran away from .03 like "little kiddies". As I've said many times... MM of course have the inside scoop on all the action... I believe the breakdown below .03 the past two days was orchestrated by MM's... and that "wallpaper" at .03 was just that... To a certain extent I feel sorry for the ones that sold in the .02's that will likely watch a strong upward move in the next few weeks... but I guess "that is how the bottle bounces." At least those on this particular board are "strong hands." mach

I am going to buy more shares tomorrow along with several of my trading friends. We are all new to the pennies but old hands at the rest. Together we will dump a good amount of cash in which will hopefully show some movement upwards and do a little damage to the MM's. I have done my own research and am very high on PGHI.

This one is old but is a good support of the actual trend of growth in the Video game industry in USA.
Video gaming is good for America -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- posted 11:47am EST Wed May 02 2001 NEWS A new study shows that 70% of U.S. homes will have video game consoles by 2005 (close to the percentage of homes with VCRs), that 60% of Americans play computer/video games on a regular basis, that the gaming industry put 220,000 people to work last year, and that those jobs generated US$9 billion in wages and tax revenues. The report was commissioned by the Interactive Digital Software Association (IDSA) and researched by Nathan Associates, which used publicly available sources ("primarily the economic censuses and annual surveys of the U.S. Department of Commerce") to make its conclusions.
Last year, gaming software sales (including computer games) hit $10.5 billion, showing an average 15% annual growth from 1997. For comparison, the report showed annual revenue growth rates of 1.6% for video tape rental and 4.6% for movie production/distribution. Gaming software's continued phenomenal growth is likely, with a new set of advanced video game consoles about to hit the market and the report's estimate that 55 million people will play games online by 2004, up from 39 million online gamers last year.
The gaming industry's growth in wages, tax revenues, and employment also crushed other major U.S. industries. Wages paid in the gaming industry grew at 17.4% annually from 1995 to 2000 and employment at 10.1%; movie production/distribution saw 9.2% wages growth and 5.2% employment growth. Gaming's figures also beat computer manufacturing, consumer electronics, and computer storage. To top it off, gaming software companies spend 14% of their revenue on R&D (Research & Development), while other entertainment industry concerns spend only 9-12%.

Let me tell you, I've been doing intense DD and the word is all over, Video game industry is in a SOLID uptrend growth and many analysts say that we will continue to see this for years, many talk about far beyond 2007. As computers and OS improve over time, games have more room where to play and MANY humans, (adults and children) are playing, and are PLAYING long hours, the growth in the sales numbers talk for themselves. In a few words, I think we are sitting in a rocket.!!!!.

For one of my business classes I did an industry report on the game console industry, much of the information presented is right on.
Some other general information:
Xbox next and PS3 are coming out in 2005
Nintendo is stealing huge market share with their price reduction to $99
Sony PS2 has close to 70% market share
as mach would say *****THE FUTURE IS SO BRIGHT!*****
it really is, this is the best type of business to be in right now, especially during the holidays/winter where everyone has Xmas money and new consoles they got for Xmas, they're going to want GAMES!!!

I've talked of the MM signals before and attempted to use them. There are signals... agreed... but... I'm beginning to think that in fact they could be a "bit" different than what we think. I've tried to watch small lots go through as an indicaton... and then watch the stock movement... to try and see if there is a correlation... In this particular case... I believe the MM are collecting as many shares as possible ... as low as they can get them... Yes... MM can manipulate stocks to a certain extent... but when a stock is very bullish... watch out... I wish I new where this post originated... I received it from somebody... who received it from somebody... and it's been circulated throughout the net... If someone has the answer... certainly let me know. At least it makes trading more entertaining... mach

Well... from the research you've posted here... I would tend to agree. Maybe we need to compile all this info into an ebook. mach

Hey Mach remember any good poker player knows to bluff-- The MM's may very well be trying to accumulate. If they know--which I'm sure they do-- that everyone is looking for those signals they may throw false ones out to shake us up.

Im still confident we will see this happen with PGHI...
CHRISTMAS RALLY? Historically, the days before and after Christmas and Thanksgiving holidays have produced above average returns with strong frequency numbers for the markets. Both the frequency and gains for these two particular trading days have been far superior to market averages. (Time in Time Out, Thackray & Lindsay.). Although I had not applied this trading strategy to bb stocks in the past, I was pleasantly surprised to see that PGHI traded well in the “days” preceding Thanksgiving with a trend that produced substantial gains in the following days. Can we assume that a similar pattern will happen into the Christmas Holiday. Never underestimate the power of the market?

The Christmas effect coupled with the already existing trend (consolidation, bottom, reversal) PLUS new site due out by EOY, and last but not least...The name change to GamezNFlix.
Thats four things. I like those odds.
