I think it will dumb this week....but it really wants to hit 9,000 pretty bad. I'm leaning all cash until the HUGE DROP. But would like to see it come back to 8,250-8300 range....then I will throw my entire hand of darts all over the board. But until then...absolutely NO overnight positions.
This is what I was gonna do today
Buy 7,000 shares of BCRX at $5.62....its at $6.05 so would of been up $3,010.
Buy 3,100 shares of HGSI at $9.40....its at $10.22 so would of been up $2,542.
Was going to buy 11,800 shares of CIT at $1.24.....its at $1.34....so would of been up $1,180.
I think I need a beer and come back. But my son will be 3 in 19 days.

Damn. I wish I would have went balls in on CIT and HGSI last week. I hate when I sit on the sidelines and watch these things develop and not get in. Oh well, one day I will catch one of these.

I am showing them off to you. depending on your money and account...you can always play BCRX/HGSI down.
I make 3-4x playing them up vs 1x shorting. Only 1 rock to throw too. But don't worry...there will be many others. Better to sit on the sidelines and reach in the pockets while the bulls run wild then to sit and wait not knowing if a BEAR or a BULL is coming. Remember that LOGIC and you will be safe.
HGSI.... $10.80 now....that makes $4,340 I missed now.

CIT is ready for a rock...$1.25....but not my rock....my rock is a boulder today when I throw it. But buy CIT at $1.25...sell at $1.32-1.34.

wow!!30% from yesterday!! I need to get on one of those also like SJU said....I hate waiting on the sidelines and missing out, although my money is tied up in DUG right now, so I couldn't do much today anyway. I'm waiting for this high market to dump so I can make something off them, not sure how far it's going ot drop though.

Crazy start to the week. All my cash is tied up also TJ. I thought about selling some to free up cash last Thursday. Now I'm kicking myself because I didn't. But like R1 said, there will be many others. At least I'm not losing money!

Yes...HGSI is absolutely nuts like BCRX was Friday. So is OREX. What do all three of these companies have in common??? All 3 are drug companies. So why all the results so closely released together????
HGSI....new Lupis drug. First new drug in over 50 years.
OREX....Obesity drug.
BCRX....influenza treatment peramivir.
So....lets think back to DNDN. Shot up from $5.00 to $26 and now trading at $23.30.

Last year this time it was any and all energy companies...I've definately seen lots of pharmasuticle companies poping up in the past month or so.

I assume when this market drops you will actually will be able to hear it, like a big BOOM! I can't imagine it's going to sustain this level much longer. Everything seems crazy high.

I can't believe I pulled the trigger so fast. But yesterday I hesitated and then missed the ship. Today I blew my load too fast. Could of got in at $12 and saved $1,150. Now I'm up $897. Patience is the key to life.

HGSI....My exit is set for $13.25...unless I can sit here and predict it going even higher which I do but $11.76 scared me a bit. After this...no more trading for me the rest of the week. Good luck all!!!

That is gay....just got done writting an email and just caught the price. I knew I sold it too cheap!!! $14.01. Guess I didn't want that extra $1,748.

Well sju, they're way beyond their 52 week high. there has got to be a big drop coming sometime, you would think anyway. Almost hit $15. Got to be way over bought too.

BCRX went wild too. $7.56 close, high of $7.92. Just think....I was gonna buy this one instead of HGSI today at $6.17 and hold it for a minute and I would of bought 7,500 shares. I dropped the wrong load today but I'm comfortable with that. As for OREX/BCRX/HGSI...they all have potential to hit $20+ like DNDN did but we are in uncharted waters that are VERY DEEP. So how far are we willing to venture out??? I swim good but out of shape so I will only venture out as far as I can see the shore. Once the shore is missing....then your really shark food or on your way to Hawaii.
Here are some factors in the market. All these companies keep releasing earnings. CAT is the next big one and that is why they are up so high. STEEL companies all release next week. The first one to FALTER will send a panic in the market and creat a sudden spiral downward. But if all these companies keep up with good earnings, then we will break out into the 9,000+ range. Right now, some investors are getting confidence and buying up stocks. But unlike them, we are skeptable about the market, the risks and returns because we ALL including Morpheus have felt the WRATH of GREED!! So CASH is KING right now and when that crash comes. We will be ready. But until then, we can whore the little fish trying to become large.
CIT is such a DRAMA bank stock. This will wake up TAX payers about the government making loans to companies. The Obama health reform will influence the market as well because the RICH are playing POOR. My father explained something to me. What do the Police and Firedepartment do? They both protect your property. Who has property? The Rich. Who should pay the bulk of the protection? The rich because they have more to lose, more that needs protecting and because the RICH makes the rules/Regulations/Laws that makes America a two tier system of RICH getting Richer and POOR getting Poorer. What a topic I just started.

ONXX....Day trader today. Its up almost $10. I think this will have some good dips.
SBUX might be a good day trader today as well.
Today might be our first down day. Sure Apple/ONXX Pharma had great earnings but other big stocks missed earnings. The banks came in last...WFC/MS missed earnings. So how low will we go???
HGSI is still hot. I debated last night after hours in buying it so I can sell it today and hopefully make some more money. Guess I should of. I would of knocked down another $0.60 or more.
TC...been one of my father's favorites. Its ripe now...but he still thinks its going to the $20s. I don't know. I never really liked it because it lacked volume. But he was telling me to buy it from $7-11 a share. Guess he was right.
STEEL....about time it comes down...but needs way more to go for me to grab any. AKS might be my next steel play when I'm ready. I would like to load up on it at $16 range. So have $2 and some change it needs to lose.
AAPL....I swear....this stock has made me kick myself a few times. I debated on buying it before all my huge losses back in November or so when it was in the $80s. Guess I should of. Would of had the money I lost since then plus another $25k. That is why I am leaning on steel companies. They are all down 40-80% of the 52 week high. That means lots of room to move up or even double.
UNG....$13.28. My father likes this one a lot.
CCJ....$26.16. My father's pick as well. He likes that this metal company extracts Uranium to 15% of the world's supply. He think its going higher then its 52 week high.

VG has been moving back up from the pit. Was at $0.33 last week. Bid is $0.38 now. I have been tempted to drop a $1,000 bomb on it just to lower my average and to see what happens.
I actually feel like dropping $1,000 on a few stocks. SIRI/URRE/LVLT/VG/RAD/FRE/FNM/ONT/RF/C/LCC and others. You never know what will pan out.

Well R1, you definately have done your homework! If I had lots of money back when AAPL hit $79, I would have loved to dump a huge amount in and just let it sit. I knew this would happen. My dad trades, but his therory is buy it and let it sit...and apperently to him, the longer you leave it in a stock the more money you make. Doesn't quite know what he's doing. Not that I do yet either. Although I've told him a hundred times to buy AAPL, and he never wants to because it's "so expensive". I've tryed to explain it doesn't matter! It's the percentage that it's going to move up. I know I told him to buy around that $80 mark. He's kicking himself now isn't he?! I'm into DUG now watching this swing happen. Your right this a greedy market. It's like the oil market last year...just being forced up, but not necessarily reflecting the actuall value or economy. I'm guessing it might just break that 9000 mark, but there's gonna be a big down fall soon.
