Good day today overall. Everything up for the most part. I think we all agree, a pullback is coming soon.
SIRI up over 7% today for a 2nd green day in a row. SIRI will release 2nd quarter results Thursday 8/6/09 before the bell. I still expect SIRI to do well. I will be holding until at least the Friday after earnings.

I bailed on half my SIRI..(350K shares) today at .42..looking to buy back anything below 40.5..(im hoping) also just been short DRV and FAZ , then went long 30 minutes before the close..I had anticipated MSFT will miss their report and I seemed to have guessed correct..Im looking for a big down day tommorrow , Friday,..for the last 12 fridays or so..they have been "up friday",,this one will be dirrerent.. SIRI will be off to the races very soon IMHO..will be accumulating in the days to follow

How about BCRX for a throw and HGSI for the other throw.
Only if I had held onto my BCRX....GEEZ!!! I had 7,000 shares at $5.88. Would of been up $23,520. Ohhh well....I still think I robbed them pretty good.
Just saw LCC went up $0.39 from post. Missing all the sweet buys!!! I still like UAUA as a pick.
Stupid CTIC went up 10% from when I was going to buy. Maybe the stock holders said screw it if they flood the market with stock priced at $1.30 a share. ????

I have $528 play...but thinking there is a far bigger fish out there. BCRX play will be 4,500 shares at $9.15, exit $9.37 for a $990 gain.

Partial fill...2,900 shares....not sure if to sell or wait for the other 1,800 shares for a total of 4,700 shares...but this $753+ is looking good.

BCRX...new order is 5,000 shares at $10.18. Might raise it higher...maybe up to $10.30....but new target exit will be $10.58 or higher.

Raised it to $10.25 now...might reraise to $10.28. Exit will be $10.50s now once I get back in.

It seems like BCRX will still go lower, looks like to me anyway. maybe around $10.23 or so.

Just got filled at $10.25. Geez....down at $10.16. Guess I misjudged that one a bit. I was in the process of changing it back to $10.20 when it filled. That was FAST!!! Sell is $10.40 or higher.

By the way...lets peek at my finds this morning: DVAX...same RFMD...off a little...but almost the same. NVAX...up another $0.40 or 10.67%. ARBA...down $0.21. SQNM...up $0.65 or 11.4%
So todays picks are not so bad. But we're gonna make some $$$ this month. Still 4 more days. I will have 1 round trip available Tuesday.

Thanks a lot R1. I hate missing out because of my inexperience and/or fear of losing money. I'll be here trying to study as much as I can, and make some good play's too! A lot of times I see it just as you do, but that fear kicks in and I miss it. Just need a little success my way and maybe I can get on a roll too.

I hear you TJ. Get this....before I go to work...yeah I said go to work...been 2 weeks now. But I'm gonna grab 1,000 shares of BCRX and hold over night and see what happens. I have a big ohh crap cushion now. But then I can make even more. Guessing I will grab more at $10.40 or less and thinking it will break out of $10s and be in low to mid $11s Tuesday. Who knows...but that is my plan and thoughts.
WFC has gained almost a buck over the past 2 trading days. I was debating on playing that on Friday but you know how I feel about financials right now.
I think I will grab another wild stock...hmmm....BBI...buying 1,500 shares at $0.727...have partial fill.
But this is going to be my strategy for a while. Take my earnings and thow 1/2 at a wild pick.
ONT will be my next grab when I make more money Tuesday.
I also will throw a dart at URRE when I have more money again.

NVAX looks good too, although that and BCRX are beyond their 52 week high. Not sure if they have more room to keep going. I'm watching for the mid-afternoon dip, see if they take another big surge towards the end of the day.

Doesn't look like I will get filled unless I pay way more then what I sold it for. Going to peek at what else is out there. But off to work soon.
DVAX moved up now. Everything else is the same.
