Gary, your right and wow are we getting a TON of SNOW!!! You can see maybe a half mile or less for how hard its coming down.

GM is up a lot right now. Bush is going to make a statement at 9am. Hope its bad.

BAC will open lower....getting good for entry again.

Oil down again $34.53....how low can it go??? I will start to put my proseats in DIG ($27 now).

AAPL...is looking like an easy play for 5% or so.

Those do look good but I will be gone at noon today so I dont know if I will get anything before I leave , but DIG would be a good hold I think, oil has to take a turn sometime soon ,they will not let it get much lower,a few people on CNBC have said 25-30 barrel range , I cant see it getting that low but already down to 38 so could be possible..DIG could be a great long hold IMHO
And the DOW futures are only down 30 now,, might open green we still have an hour for open

AAPL is setting near its 52 week low only 9 bucks off the low, so could be a good hold,,especially if they end up in a deal with MSFT..

Here is my thought....I think the market which is up 85 will close in the RED today.

F....I think you can flip it for 3% or so....buy $2.98-$3.10 sell.

SKF....up today and market is up....we close RED it should close around $117 or higher.

I am out of the game for a bit. Today, I just put a deposit on a car and I am picking it up Tuesday night. I am using my Scottrade checks to pay for the car, so I am going all cash in my account first thing Monday morning.

I plan to be back at some point, but until I have funds to trade with, I will just be watching.

Out of my AGQ at 29.96 and 29.72. All cash now so my check clears. I have about $200 to trade with, so if you see anything pop up that might double or something, lol, let me know, because the rest of my funds just went to another car.

Otherwise, I will be back trading again when I accumulate some more funds.

Morpheus- Simply put, I don't like car payments. The only loan I have is for my house. I have no credit cards, no school loans (they are paid off), no auto loans, nothing. Just my house and the bills that go along with the house. I intend to keep it that way.

CNBC clowns are talking like its going to be a disaster market. Retailers are the hot topic like I predicted. They also said something about the AUTO bailout....said Bush never got approval for the money....hmmmm.....???? Interesting......????

I almost grabbed ONT at $0.2103....thought about it....but still sitting. Adding more funds to my account too.

So....OIL.....Wasn't it $33 something Friday....and now its $42 something. Whats up with that??? Shouldn't DIG be up and Dug be down???

Morpheus....can you clearify which is which between DIG and DUG. I thought DIG goes up when OIL goes up and opposite with DUG.

I think the market will close down 150-170 today.

i cant explain the dig dug puzzle..yes oil was pretty low..but today looking at finviz..it shows down for the day...so that might explain dug going up..im gonna play the ol.."down monday..up tuesday" game this week..so i will be reversing my positions on the inverse etf at the close..most likely out of SRS and into TNA..only 100 share is all i have for now..

Well the problem with Retail....the Northeast = 20-30% of sales. We are burried in snow. They say they are overstocked and expect some MONSTER companies to crash and burn. Target is even on the list.

Dow down 131 now...looking good!! Still holding SKF.....nevermind....just sold at $118.50...out with $196 gain.

Glad to see you guys did good today I was out all day ,, and DRYS looks like it will run back up a little in the morning . I hope, after I left the other day and it fell so far I had a sell order in and with scottrade you cant have a sell and limit at the same time so I got stuck with it falling .. Back close to 10 at close so Looks like I have to hold another few days because of margin acc and If I sell now I will loose margin acc so I am going to wait a feew days to see if I can break even on it to get back to margin acc status ,, I have been away for a few days getting christmas stuff done .. Ready to pull my hair out for having to hold but DRYS has had 2 to 3 days down then runs up for 3-4 days , so I am waiting this one out ..
OK guys might be back in the morning..not sure got a lot of running to do with holidays coming wish I was in cash from a few days ago so I didnt have to worry about anything when I have to be out for the day.... Plus a short week this week to ,, and slow volume ...

Gary,

Bad news...DRYS will open even lower. Second, you should limit how much you use on Margin. If you borrow 100% of your funds then each percent is double. If you would drop 25 or more then you will be forced to sell or add funds IMMEDIATELY!!! Trust me....I got caught with my pants down with SKF a few months ago. I was in at $127 and it dropped to $70 something and TDAMERITRADE sold all my shares but 10 of them. Then 3 weeks later SKF hit $250. So I went from having some good $$$ to only $700 left. If I would of avoided that then I would of doubled my money...saying I held to $250. Just be careful.

So....Changing my sell of C to $7.00. Might as well squeeze a little more out. Won't be on much if at all Tuesday. Have my son and he doesn't let me trade until he takes his nap. Need to get a laptop. Hmmmm....tempted. I will have him M-F for a month so will be MIA for a while.

Also going to start doing EQUITY TRADING....someone called it something else but its my view. What I do is buy a stock. Predict a selling price. Sell only enough stock to match what I paid and keep the remaining shares as EQUITY. Can't do it everytime I buy and sell something but selling C at $7.07 now and keeping 50 shares. This will keep me out of trouble with any Margin Problems if I would get out of line.

R1 Man- That is what I do, but I call it "taking profit in shares" so I can build a portfolio of stocks. Even when I went "all cash" yesterday, I am still riding all of my free shares that I got by taking profit in shares, rather than cash.

C will open higher today...might hit my sell...$7.07...???

DUG will open $4.00+ lower at $28+

DIG will open lower at $25.15

BAC will be flat at open $13.50 range

AAPL will open higher, up a buck

DRYS will open around $9.25 so might grab that or DUG.

SRS.....housing numbers come out today....hmmmmm!!!!

Back to my son....will try and get back at open.

Yes you are right greenman. However, it has some huge potential just like I agreed with Ace on the HotStocks thread. Its one that could run to $12-15 or even higher. This thread is a mixed one. Almost everything we post here you can usually hold for a few days, months and even years. Its about how the market SWINGS. We play those stocks and funds that move with the market while keeping an eye on those that are seasonal like the OIL, METAL, MISC stocks and funds. I hope that answers your question. But I don't see how you could go wrong with WATCHING DXO for a good swing and for a 6-7 month hold.

Well, it does apear to be a down day. Not sure where we will close at. Yesterday I said it would be down 150-170 points and it was for a while then closed down slightly. I would suspect it will be around -40.

This was a good day for stocks. Market closed up 50 points. Most stocks are flat or up. Did anyone grab and C when it was $6.50s??? Hope someone did. Selling at $6.80...but may change it higher Friday. Not sure yet.

DXO is at $1.72. I'm going to drop about $1k into it and hold it until July-August. Will likely buy it Friday....but how low will it go??? I think long term it doesn't matter in price but short term, it may get as low as $1.30s. Not really sure but possible. Obviously if that would happen I would drop lots more $$$ into it.

DXO moved back up to $1.90. I was debating earlier at grabbing it at $1.79-1.80.

So, doing some DIVY research. Take a look:

RCR...$1.90....pays a 227% Divy. Pays $0.35 divy right now.

CFP...$7.00....pays a 36% Divy. Pays $0.20.

C is $6.69....might jump on it again very soon.

I grabbed C Monday at $6.68....missed that completely.... Never thought it would drop below $6.60. But bid today is $6.65. Beats the low of $6.51 yesterday atleast. Still holding 1,400 shares of VG. In at $0.70 average. I have a maintance call of $265 so have to add some funds or sell something. Have to check $$$ in the bank.

DRYS looks good...$9.17

But yesterday I almost bought SRS at $56 instead of C....wish I had

Morning All ,, been out a few days doing holiday crap and went fishing as well..
Back for a little trading most of the day today.Reading last few days post looks like you all have done good..
Anybody do any DD on CBAK ?? I am just checking it out and was down to new 52 week low yesterday but haad news out on the 29th about a loan for production and research , and it dropped like a rock yesterday to new low....
Might get some for a rebound this morning unless I find more bad news ...will post if I locate any info on why it went down..

Madpammy, I dont think with an ETF that makes a difference. They are based on the market that they are based..Also most ETFs are fairly new to trading so a 52 week low might only be an average for 3 months like with TNA TZA..Only started trading in November. Just my opinion on that..

Good for you!! My son is soo crabby today.

SRS hit $53.47 then crashed again... VG is up slightly. I think C can still be flipped pretty easy. I think SKF might drop into the $90s today....if the market closes up it should be there so be careful.

So what is everyone's goals for $$$ this year. I am looking at making $50k trading this year. That is my target. Seems high but highly possible. Got to recover my big screw up last year....yuck!! Down $17-18k. I'm thinking I will be at $20k by April. Then it will get easy making money.

I am in cash other than the 20 sh of DRYS I held for profit and long term..other than that been away most of the day ,, trying to figure out what tommorrow will bring to get a bear or bull etf for tommorrow,, The DOW does look like 9000 resistance level now so until it breaks that we will be up and down days, still looking for bottom..Thinking about LVS again ,, was up over 9 today and fell back to 8 range ,,Have had HIG and LVS on my list from when we played it a few months back,,

Not sure if anyone has been watching AIG but 10 day chart is showing a squeeze coming up on the charts and news has been out on sales of parts of the company to get cash to pay off gov loans.. SMA lines showing a bearish trend , so I am thinking that it might just head up in a few days after a little dip..It has been trading sideways for the last week with no big up or down movement but still has good volume on the stock .. My plan is to pick up a few shares over the next few days if it drops back to 1.50 - 1.60 range..Just my plan so it will probably hit .50 in the next week or so..

10 cents on a dollar is 10% gain and 10 bucks on 100 dollars is also 10% gain....i am comfortable with even 5% gain...if i can get that, i dont mind selling the equities....thats why i listed % gain.....considering the short timespan i hold the stocks, effectively its even bigger % gain on your initial investment..dont you agree?

mad..take small positions and be very awary of the overall direction of the market..it is now in a down trend..so play etf's that go up in this market
look at www.finviz.com and the heatmap..pick on the EFT tab and study this it will give you ideas..good luck..i had a great day today up about 1500 bucks.. in a down day..not bad and only taking $4-6 dollar positions on any one holding..im liking at this point DUG DTO SKF and SRS to name a few ..get to know what this symbols are leveraged to and go from there..good luck mad

another tip...during the last 20-30 minutes..if the dow is down or up real big...look for a retracement and play TNA (in a dow down day and TZA in a dow up day retracement)..works for me and maybe you too.

Last week I sold DRYS and just kept a few shares for long term profit.. I am going to start putting a few shares away from trades with profit for long term with good companies insted of taking all profit..I think we are getting near bottom with the market overall so I am setting up a small long term portfolio.. I dont want to say (wish I would have held some of that ) in a year or so..

What can you do when your on 4 hours of sleep the past 2 days. Friday will be hard since I'll have my son.

FYI....I believe the retail sales numbers and unemployment #s come out Friday....so thinking a DOWN day on Friday.

Story of my life....I work at 11pm - 9/10am as a hotel manager and starting again in about 2 weeks I start school again taking 15 credits with classes mon-friday usually starting at 6pm-9pm. So basically the only time I get to sleep is from like 10am-4pm.....of course when the market is open. so basically I DON'T sleep haha. but screw it man, I'm done with school for good in May and I can sleep when I'm dead or retired.

DRYS trading up over a $1 in pre market and TNA up .50 this morning pre market....One of the shows on CNBC last night where talking about the increase in ETF trading across the board starting this year as an indicator that more people are putting money back into the market now. That might be a small indicator that the market over all might be heading back up in the next few months..

Which ETFs are you asking about?
All ETFs are based on different markets so if you have a energy based ETF then it will follow that market not just the DOW..
There are ETFs on any sector there is.
FAZ is a short fund based on the financial index..Not nessisarily the DOW or NASD or S&P..

Yes....RMBS....they got a ruling against them. They can't enforce some of their patents. That is why its down. Maybe it will level out next week but today....Good Luck.

yeah man, I bought PLD on the 23rd at 10.50ish. Had a nice run for a couple of weeks and ran up to 16.20. Was going to sell but got kinda greedy....but at the same time the dividend is 2.07 per share so I thought about the whole time it was tanking that " oh well, I still have a few hundred with the divi's " and maybe I shouldn't worry about it if i'm going to hold it for awhile. but it sucks to see it go down like 40+ % in a matter of days. Atleast ACTC is hooking me up....saying that I'll probably jinx it though

Hey I just checked out DRYS, thats crazy man. usually I don't like to bother paying attention to after hours because I find it to sometimes not even really matter...except for times like this. -15% on almost a million in volume. drys is going to be violating their bank covenants - thats never a good sign. i do believe they will bounce back to 12-15 range but that wont be until theyve posted decent results with good free cash flows.....

i havent looked at thier margins but do gross margin trend to see if theyve been improving, staying same or deteriorating?

No on siri, I was concentrating on bac and fas waves and missed it. I might get some Monday. That is one that could go up a buck easy. I sold out at .14 for profit......right before it went to .20. Anything in the green is ok with me after the drys mess.

Still riding BAC, looking good right now. I'm hoping we see 8 out of it this week. I'm also holding DRYS and may pick up NM by the end of the day. Infrastructure is a big chunk of Obama's stimulus package set to be unveiled this week. I think infrastructure will be hot over the next 2 weeks.

i have been looking at charts for the past few hours and i like AA, DXO RF and yes DRYS..i might just dump a bucket load of cash into these and go on vacation for a bit..coasta rica is really nice this time of the year.Well, Costa Rica is a tropical country situated between 8 and 11 degrees above the equator. It has only two seasons: dry and green! The dry season with very little rain is generally between late December and April and the green or wet season lasts the rest of the year - May through November, but still offers an average of about 5 hours of daily sunshine. This has been a really bad several weeks for me. I was lucky enough to trade my way to just about break even with very little loss. It's frustrating to work hard trading for 2 weeks with no gain, lol. But at least I'm still alive through it all. I sold BAC to break even today. I should have sold it yesterday while I was ahead.

I am holding DRYS, NM, FAS, and AIB.

madP..DRYS did have great action today..i did not pull the trigger on this one today..bummer..too busy with others ..i guess thats what happened..i was watching it at 4.75.. and froze..in other picks..SIRI latest..I got a billionair on my side..so its anybodys guess from here..i gots about $5K worth so im concerned as this is TOTAL SPECULATION ..already got burned but not too bac..on WAMU and PPC a few months back. In both those cases..i had already made a quick buck on them and basically just gave it all back..and with the quick .10 to .20 pop SIRI had last week..i again made good mola and now im just riding with the profits..(but it is real money) and the fact i took profit is the only reason im letting it ride and bought tons at the fire sale this morning..in at .062 and it was quickly at .082 (thats the same ratio as buying at 62 bucks and selling at 82 bucks) and i missed the sell..then at the end of the day i tabbed anotheer 10k shares at .056

i also like the action with DXO, SRS/URE FAS/FAZ YRCW RF BAC C TXT LVS SWKS ..they are on my rader and im looking to scalp .15 to .25 on 2k shares here and there..I like to start with about 1k shares (or about $5k-$7k dollars worth)3bucks 2k shares 30 buck price 200 shares and SRS cost 60 bucks so 1-150 share buyin and if it goes against me..another double up is worth the risk ...but the first and last 1.5 hours of the trading day is where all the action is..that is working for me..and then im buying a few swing trades on the pullbacks for the mid term hold..aka AA BAC DXO RF and FAS/FAZ play

IMO, you will see a short term pop because of the sense of security and insurance it gives shareholders. After that, maybe it slowly goes down over time as the nationalization will likely decrease profitably.

i bought more 20k more shares SIRI at the close .1302 alSO on my list of great buys..AA FAS CAT MOS EGLE ..BUT im long SIRI in a big way..300,000 shares..this company will be all over the news in 12 days..so there ya go..im on the excelerated path to making my second million.. today longs..i bought back into 9for mid term hold) FAS 4k shares 2.60 and 6k shares YRCW 1.51 ..i also traded heavly today in and out of SKF SRS EGLE and RIG a number of times makeing over 4% of my portfolio taking only small positions(10-15%)of portfolio at a time for the entry points of the trades..

im at my last buy in for SIRI at this point..what i do have is more than double than my normal buy and hold risk play exposire..especially for a "penny" stock..but the reality is ..this is not a start up stock "new product" BS company and they have a monopoly on satillite radio across the country and are adding customers monthly..they should be a +20 dollar stock with what they have going for them..the number had been bad till this point due to the buying of XM radio last year (elliminating their compatition so less advertizing budget)..they just got big money backing..so im with it for now..

I might of been silent and busy as hell. But still here and still on the money trail. I have only worked 4 weeks so far this year and still working Yeah, I took some serious hits in all my accounts but still not down and out of the game.

Still holding DRYS and VG in one account. SIRI in 2 other accounts and a few other stocks. GM in the other account. Too bad we didn't know what we know today a year ago. WOW!!!

By the way, I called the DOW being 6,500 range....guess I was right. Wasn't sure if we would see that but I don't see 5,000 range at all. So crossing my fingers. I think the DOW will be around 9,500 in July.

As for the Big 3. Wow have they ever scared all of us auto workers. Take a buyout and roll the dice in a state with 11.4% unemployment rate or pray I have a job still. A lot of people signed up for the buyout again with fears of getting laid off again....but now with only unemployment pay $362 per week and no job guarrentee. They really have us worried. As much as I would like to drop all my free money in the stock market, I am forced to make a nest and cut back on things.

For anyone who doesn't know about the auto workers. I can say this....I make $28.06 an hour. Used to get $1.05 per hour C.O.L.A. (cost of living allowance). Plus 5% shift premium for 2nd shift and 10% for 3rd. We get paid holidays. Double dip with vacation where in May we get paid all our vacation pay where we can go without taking a actual vacation and make that extra week(s) pay. We get 5 PAA (Paid absence allowance). We had a job bank that paid 40 hour pay for them not having a job for workers. $25 copay for doctor and $50 for hospital. $5 copay for generic drugs and $10 for name brand which only a select few are covered. We pay 2 hours pay for union dues. When laid off temporary, we get $362 unemployment and SUB (sublimental Unemployment Benefits) of roughly $600 a week. We have union protection where we can file grievances when things are not right. $600 x-mas bonus. We gave up pay raises for performance bonus of 2-4% (Gross wages x 2-4% = bonus).

Now, COLA is gone. Job bank is gone. SUB is getting put on point system (13 weeks SUB for 10 years or less, (I think 36 weeks for 20-30 years) and so on) or eliminated. Less paid holidays. No more x-mas bonus. No performance bonus. Partial or full pay of medical benefits. Cut break in times. Not sure what else is on the chopping block. But the SUB pay and Job bank is what scares people the most. Reason is...for me, I have 7 years. If I get laid off indefinately. I have no job guarantee, no more dental, medical expires in I think 6 months, maybe SUB pay of 13 weeks = 3 months or none at all. I would only get the $362 unemployment pay and when that runs out...no income at all. Means move on and find a new job and hope one day they call you back to work. Us auto workers are seriously not over paid because of how much they ask of us and how hard it is on our bodies. Repetative work is very dangerous on your body. I have injuries that will never heal to before I started working at Chrysler. I can only ignore the uncomfortableness at times and work or do what ever I am up to. But I think that sums me up and also why you will and have heard of all these workers taking buyouts. (Some of the things are rumors).

Anyways, until I have some clearity with this auto crap, I won't be adding any new money to my accounts, only working with what I have in them which its all locked up in depressing stocks. When things turn up and I have more time on my hands, I will be on regularly. Until then, playing the wait game and helping others at work make money with what I can't afford to do.

BTW, I really wanted to SHORT SKF at $240s. I think it will drop down to $160 today. BAC will close up over 10% today. C will be flat.

House is smaller then I thought. 697 sq ft. House on other side is 1,100 sq ft that sold for $85,000. Not interested unless they take less the $15,000. I found another around the corner that is 1,100-1,300 sq ft. Asking $28k. Not really sure what I want to do now. I see soo many opportunities here. Might just take the money and play with it here again and hope for the best. Market is just nerve recking right now. So not really sure what to do.

make sure there's good renters available, first.

can't depend on flipping it quick. Lottsa properties that do sell are still going lottsa contracts till one sticks...

if there are good renters available, do the minimum necessary for decent housing. Renters who wind up in a crappy joint decide it's OK to trash it. Later, when the market comes back, do more upgrades and updates...

oh...by the way...still long over the weekend..out half SIRI at yesterdays close and bought back in at .191 today...go man go..also in and out of FAS and SKF for some nice gains throughout the day..also bailed on YRCW which was a nice double for me in 1 week ...im also long 5k shares of LVS..it had a big pop at the open and im thinking ..somebody knows somthing with a big gain like that.. about 15 minutes it pulled back and i sprang for 2k shares and anothe 3k at the day lows..im thinking monday will be another big pop up at the open..we shall see

sold LVS at the open pop and took profit..toward the end of the day i got back 80k shares of SIRI at .231 and LVS at 1.90...this is the best time to make good bank that i have seen i a very long time..im doing good but at the same time ..pissed off im leaving tons of mola on the table..its a weird feeling. but hey..ill take it..i hope my friends on this thread are doing good too...there is good mola to be made...

Hello Angel. Just out of curiosity, did you try to buy FAZ on margin??? I'm not sure about Scottrade, but Zecco stopped allowing 3X EFT trades on margin about a month ago.

sju1973- I can definitely buy FAZ, FAS, etc on margin. I think they blocked it yesterday because of the huge decline (-45%). Scottrade does stuff like that to "protect us" - they also do it to stocks that have an abnormal amount of volume/activity.

Oh, okay. After the financial meltdown a few weeks ago Zecco actually put a stop on trading 3X EFTs on margin. When they did, I was holding FAS on margin. They implemented this change and I instantly received a margin call! Even though I purchased the stock before the rule was in place. I was pissed! Crazy stuff.

I am sure that Scottrade has different maintenance requirements on the 3X stuff, because I was getting maintenance calls everyday when FAS was heading down.

I haven't tried to use margin to buy the last few times, maybe they changed it too ??? I would test it out for you, but I am not sure if I would rather be in FAS or FAZ right now! lol FAZ, I imagine.

Okay, I just put in an order for FAZ at 16.00 (so I know it wouldn't buy), and I used all of my buying power, and it had no problems putting the order in. So Scottrade hasn't changed anything.

I cancelled the order immediately.

Cool. I figured it was just a Zecco thing. I think they must have lost a lot of money during the meltdown. Epecially in the 3X EFT's. They sent out a special email blast outlining the new rules effective the very next day after the email went out.

When I saw your post I thought that maybe other brokerages were implimenting similiar policies.

That is funny!! Glad the beer helped. Just think, if you had 2 beers and 2 naps, you might of gained twice as much....lol.

Anyways, next week I am back roaring!! I passed on buying that house. So will be back with another $25k. DRYS is also up a lot today. Break even is $8.50 for me though. Not selling just yet but thinking about it.

When my funds clear, I think I am going all in on SKF...should be cleared on Wednesday or Thursday. So hoping the market moves up until Friday. But I have a few plays in mind that I haven't had any free funds to do. But have a plan this time. Will take out 50% of gains each month and put back in my bank account or possibly 10% to account value each month.....but staying above $25,000 value so I can freely daytrade.

I think it will be a down day today but I have been wrong soo much lately. But got my money in my account now. Just going to be careful for the next several months. I can day trade freely now. Have more then the requirement for day trading in the account.

If I play 10% gain...it will take me just over 7 trades to double. But 3% works great too!!! I think if I plugged SKF at $100 or less....that it will climb back to $130 pretty easy....first bad news and its off to the races...but I could be wrong.

I don't play OTCBB stocks anymore. I am playing the swings now in big board stocks and ETFs. But that stock has very low volume which I would suggest you to avoid.

dumped all my FAZ yesterday at 17.90. Going to watch DRYS again early in the morning and see how its doing pre-market since it had a big dip yesterday. Hesitant to pick it up though because I think its run is probably over now. Still kicking myself that I didn't pick up that PLD last week when it was at like 5.

been out taking advantage of this beautiful spring weather, driving little carts and chasing little white balls around vast well manicured landscape. Low and behold , life is good today, FITB and my big holding, SIRI is once again, up. ( I really luv luv luv $12K days) Before I met my buds at the clubhouse, i did however take advantage of the nice pop SKF gave me first hour in the am. I will be here, trading like a mad man in the friday am..right now, i believe i will be bearish bias....have my sights set on SRS SKF and short CAR and AMR..so good luck to all

I have to agree with shorting CAR. I was stunned at the sudden pop yesterday. I saw it then but don't understand why it popped. No news out.

Selling DRYS today for a gain. Sold now at $6.25 for a gain of $520.

DISK....This stock is pissing me off now. I think the merger agreement is BS!!! I don't know but for $1.27 a share now and a buyout of $2.75 on Monday. Makes me wonder...buy more and roll the dice or just keep what I have and buy something else.

I don't know how to bet on the market anymore. Plus its hard when my son is here wanting my attention everyday, all day.

did any body grab some SIRI...cause this reminds me of another stocks years back 1999-2000 DISH..i made some quick mola on it from 2 bucks to 5 in a month..sold it and then every day..it kept climbing..never did i jump back in..it hit 80 and every day all i could say i F F F F F F..i believe SIRI is very simular to this today and im not making same blunder today..

I'm kicking myself for selling DRYS early.... I kind of had a feeling it would keep moving up but $7.09....WOW!!! Missed out on another $1,300+.

Thinking about grabbing FAZ at maybe $8.30. Undecided.

Anyone thinking about SHORTING GM??? I think they will likely file for bankrupcy which makes stock worthless. I'm tempted to do it. Just not sure how much to risk....????

This market is so confusing now. I don't understand why its moving up. Why SKF is soo low. Why SRS is so low. If you go back to the market. When it dropped from 10,000 to 9,500 SKF was $150+ and SRS was over $70. Now the market drops to $6,500 and it goes back up to $200+ for SKF and $90+ for SRS. Now we are at 8,162 and its at $57 SKF and $25 SRS. WTH???? I don't understand these and the rest of the market now.

Make matters worse....I thought about grabbing LVLT when it was $0.75 and didn't. Then thought about grabbing it when it came down to $0.93 from $1.05 and didn't. Then pondered about grabbing it with $8,000 worth for $0.99 this morning and didn't. Now its $1.22+

Well, throw some picks out there fellas and lets make some money.

PMI right now .69/.7 MBI can't seem to get back under $5 likes to bounce though lol. like to see ABK back under $1.
a few others OWW has been pretty good swinger, flipped ARM and got out too soon earlier this week, think it could reset on GM worries though it has pretty good fundamentals imo.

PMI....here is a tip. The OBAMA plan for refinance is a joke in many ways. I called about it yesterday and got the scoop. You can refinance and still pay the closing fees ($2,500-5,000 depending on loan value and points). However, it allows the home owners to lower their payments down because of the lower interest rates. But now people's credit scores are far lower now and sure they can refinance lower but its not a big gain. If you didn't pay PMI before....you don't have to pay it when you refinance even if you owe more then its worth. So its really not worth it. As for CREDIT SCORES....I will share mine....9 months ago mine was 794....today its 715. Since then I bought a Jeep, applied several times for home loans to buy another house and have a little credit card debt but not too much but transfered the debt to a new card. So all that hit my credit report. So they said if I was at my former score...my rate would be 4.75% with no points....but since its lower....I would get 5.375% with no points. How is that fair??? I have never missed a payment or ever been late on any payment ever in my life. Silly I think. But I see BAC making some big MULA off the Obama plan since they own Countrywide. So I expect Countrywide to post some profits which will boost BAC next quarterly earnings report.

We all have that problem once in a while. TDAmeritrade called me today wanting more money and said they would sell something at close or sooner. So I hurried and sold DRYS freeing up some much needed cash. Anyways, we will see what happens next week but come on now with some negative earnings!!!

PS....do you all remember years ago when GOOD NEWS meant the stocks went down and BAD NEWS the stocks went up. What ever happened to that???

JAVA....getting bought out by Oracle for $9.50 a share. I was going to buy it last week at $6.25.

DISK....Pisses me off. They cancelled the merger. Thinking the stock drops to $0.80-0.95. I only bought it for the $2.75 buyout merger.

BAC....down more then 10% this morning. DOW will open lower it looks

FAZ looking good....up 8.4% from Friday's close.

Oil is down so DXO looks good for loading up on at $2.75. They saying OIL prices should stay between $45-55 a barrel.

Looks like FAZ might hit $13 today. SKF might hit $78-80 and SRS might hit $38 today. I think the meeting will be negative news.

R1 Man - Haha, thanks, yeah, the media kinda blew the whole thing outta control. I contacted a local TV news place about it because of the phone bill and that is the ONLY place I contacted. It just blew up from there. Doug and I did 2 radio interviews today (one was live), and I did a couple myself yesterday and we did interviews with ABC News and a bunch of others, but I think it is finally calming down.

Making front page of yahoo.com was pretty impressive, but I was glad when it was gone from there. I also enjoyed Howard Stern calling me a Stupid Bas tard

Can you offer any advice? I've lost a ton on SOSO ( I bought it with QTM after the spike and it has since lost 90%). I'm down on SSHS and UTRM. I just sold off my RNMM and QTMM to buy FAZ. I'm holding 5000 shares of MESA, 1000 shares of EEE and 1000 shares os SRZ. In two months I've managed to make and then lose 3K. Looking for anyone's opinion on wha to hold and what to dump and what to then buy. I'm a Military guy stuck in the middle east right now and I can't spend my pay anywhere else so it would be nice to come home in 2010 with enough scratch to put a down payment on a house. Thanks for reading my rant, and thank you all in advance for any replies!!!!!

Not familiar with all your tickers (except FAZ), so do more DD re any chance of bounce, and get ready to earn your trading stripes.

Not saying this to be mean, but basically you shouldn't be trading with real capital at this stage of your development. At 90% down, you need to get real, real quick--recognizing there might be a bounce in there somewhere but basically you're wiped out, if you're saying your capital has been reduced 90%.

If so, you've dug such a deep hole, it's time to quit digging and preserve as much capital as possible. Then start reading and asking questions. Rinse and repeat. Meanwhile, build back your stash of capital, for example, 50 bucks a paycheck--and start over. But next time, paper trade for 6 months before beginning to trade again, a few--very few--trades a time.

I'm guessing here, but maybe you entered too many positions to monitor effectively. Yes?

taters..im all in on SIRI with 450K shares..I added 100K today at the close..I also am all in on F with 5K shrares i bought at 2.75 last month , sold at 4.25 and bougnt back in at 3.50 2 days ago..they are my only longterm holding for now. the rest of the days are very hard to determine day to day..I love the SIRI and F story..after all F did not take any gov money and looks to be doing really well and SIRI has a monopoly of the whole damn country..( I have been accumulating since it was below .10 a share, in and out 100K shares a few times in the last month) want my advice..( I rarely give advice)sell all you got and buy and hold these, I think you will do good, i am please up to now and still looking for a near term high of 1.50 they report earnings first week in may and my millionaire sources say its all good braw..

I'm only down 90% of my investment in SOSO. I've also got a pretty stable stake in Large Cap and Intnl. I only have about 15% in Micro, however I am a young investor and would like to entertain my "large risk" investing while I am still single and have no debt. That being said, what would be a realistic return goal for my 15% "high risk"?

Clearly I think I spread myself out too much in these micros. My strategy was to mitigate risk by diversifying, however that tactic seems to have backfired. Sooo, would you reccomend making fewer, more confident moves in small cap?

Thanks for the help. I'm only down 90% on SOSO, my other postitions that are down but are long term buys, so I'm not too worried. I have between 70-80% in Large-Mid Cap and Intnl. Its my 20-30% in Micro that I'm struggling with.

I had tried to spread my Micro over several different stocks so as to mitigate the risk I'm exposing myself to, but I think you are advising to make/have fewer, but less speculative micro positions?

I bought in at .14 and hopefully I will begin a veeeery gradual sell off at .29, or a dump if it dips to .19.

Thanks again for the advice. Do you recommend any particular books on the market/trading? I've already ordered a couple from BooDog's post on the 17th.

I'm going to start some paper day trading after the 1Q earnings are all done and see if I can manage to earn $2k a month for four months with a $50k stake. (on paper only!)

this is mostly speculative, but I spent four years in HI. With Aloha Airlines out of the market there is definately less competition between airlines. However the intra-islands carriers make a lot off of military flights going from Oahu to the big island for training exercises. These flights are way down for this quarter as the majority of military units from the island are deployed right now. I think earnings might be under the mean. Just speculative, but thought you might be interested.

Interesting. That was good and bad news. I do have SIRI in numerous accounts. Way before you picked it and also loaded up after you picked it also. Just wish I wasn't loaded before you said buy....

Anyways, I have to fully agree with the lower customers because of lower auto sales. However, on Chrysler part, the radios are made with SIRIUS Technology which makes me believe that SIRI gets a kick back for the auto makers to offer SIRIUS Radio as advertising. all the longs are un f-ing belivable ..CPSL CENX and the coals JRCC and PCX..I picked up 2K shares of CPSL today about 15 minutes after the open(late as I look back)and it climbed higher and then dipped ..only to shake me out like a big chicken and I took a small loss..???? and then the dang thing went and turned right around not 1 minute after I bailed and shot up 50%..it was just one of those days..i kept playing for a reversal via SRS and SKF and LVS ..but got slamed to the floor in the end..looking for a better day tuesday..with the same strategy..short

Sold UAUA at $6.25 for a $1,060 gain.

Sitting on VG, SKF, SRS, SIRI now...SIRI up 20% for me. Rest are deep red....???

I don't know which way to play the market anymore. We keep testing different waters and seems like Cramer might be right with the mutual funds and investors trying to catch the ride up and BUY BUY BUY. However, Cramer didn't say when it will stop. This is from last nights show.

So, what to buy next???

SIRI....getting the $0.47 barrier BEAT DOWN again.

SIRI....Well...I have 2 different quotes....$0.47x0.49 and $0.52x0.54. I have no idea why TDAmeritrade has 2 different ones. But I like that 2nd quote pretty good.

GM....Guess my father was right....Stock gonna crash HARD and FAST!!! Closed at $1.85....ask right now is $1.50. They gonna get 50%+ owned my treasury like my father said. To make that happen...GM will dillute the stock severly!!! My father always said something he would do if it does go down. He would buy $1,000 worth for a NICKLE!!

GM also warned that amendments to its restated certificate of incorporation would increase the number of authorized shares of common stock to 62 billion. The company is also mulling a 1-for-100 reverse common stock split.

"If the restructuring as currently contemplated occurs, there will be very substantial dilution to existing holders of GM common stock," the company said in the filing.

"After the restructuring, as currently contemplated... existing holders of GM common stock would hold approximately 1% of the outstanding GM common stock," it said.


Here is the kicker....can someone explain this....my math doesn't work right....So GM is a public company. They give you 1 share for you 100 shares. Well....I thought that when a stock splits either way that the company would get the same split. So if share holders own 30% or say 3,000 shares and GM owns 70% or 7,000 shares. They do a RS of 1-100. So share holders would own 30 shares and GM would own 70 shares. How is that 1%????

Here is another fire to throw in. Fiat is OK'd to buy Chrysler. Chrysler is OK'd to chop company debt/assets up selling good to Fiat. Fiat wants to buy GM Europe/Germany. So Fiat goes to #2 car maker immediately. Does that mean Ford is next or the last standing AMERICAN AUTOMAKER????

Anyways....just saw that "C" needs $5-10B more to function. That is wierd....that asian guy testified in congress that they didn't need any money a month ago or so. BAC needs $30B.

FRE gets kick ruling so might jump.

Well, off to bed. But FAZ should get a huge KICK today!! Thinking it will touch $7.75-8.20. But we know that won't happen.

Wait....got a few to watch. BIDU....it flatlined finally. Thinking it will more down now. CAR got a big kick so might go down. ABK moved up 50% so thinking with bank scares today it will move back down to maybe $1.20.

Cramer talked about that the other day on his show and said that mutual funds and investors are trying to catch the ride up. That is why it keeps moving up each day. He thinks it will stay on track for a little while but did say it would be considered OVERBOUGHT but the buying frenzy has got investors buying.

VG doubled this morning in pre-market. Increased outlook for the year and I was selling at $1.10 but might sit on it now for a while. All green on it now. Just wish I had dropped $5,000 more on it like I was going to last week.

SIRI....Earnings look flat to me. Not a big change, just slight improvement in many areas. I like that they increased outlook as well.

ALL FINANCIALS are UP BIG!!! I'm getting beat down hard playing SKF. Hoping they will turn around ASAP!!!

FRE/FNM....up big today as well. FRE at $1.04. FNM is at $0.97. So what one is at the other will follow. So FNM might gain another $0.07 or 7.2%

LVLT....this one has been jumping back and forth from $1.00-1.25. Currently up but I think if it drops back down. Grab some.

Ohhh yeah....the only reason besides GREED that I didn't sell was because I was going to sell SIRI/VG and load up on FAZ at $4.67. However, seeing all the financials up 10-20% today I was like FAZ might touch $3 range and bailed.

Really sorry to hear that....I think it will keep going up now. Seems like investors are in shock now about how much money the banks need. However the report comes out tonight if I am right....(Been taking care of my son).

another of my hot stocks to watch that has had a big nice pullback and i grabbed 5k shares this morning is YRCW...if the market has started to move up again, which i think it has, this is a winner too..but overall, SIRI has been "sandbagged" on us and is the "ringer" if you you are familuar with the horse track lingo..good luck to us..

GM traders are IDIOTS!!! GM WILL FILE!!! I would bet my check on that. Its easier for GM to make a good company and drop all the debt. If you haven't noticed...a good indicator is: ALL/MOST of GM executives sold all their GM stock. Think about it. Its a dead duck!!

Chrysler...who knows when I go back to work. There are so many rumors out. June 5th, August 9th, then rumor saying when we come back, they will empty plants of inventory and close several and close mine for 5 months to retool. Who knows....but what a load of crap Chrysler is doing to those dealerships. 100% screwing....they are cutting off the rebates in June. So anyone should be able to grab a Chrysler product at a dead dealership way below EMPLOYEE COSTS and WHOLESALE. If they don't sell it, they eat the $4,000-8,000 in rebates and trying to sell it then would be impossible without taking on huge loses.

I'm dumping 1/2 of SIRI at $0.38.

I'm still debating on my other stocks. Up on some, down on others.

So will the market close up or down? I have no idea. Ahhhh.....Credit card reform bill...no wonder why financials are slightly down. So maybe Obama signs and financials go down 3-7%???

Ok...found out...They raised the 10 year note slightly.

So whats up with CAR. This stock has gained over 1438% from its low. Its up 16% today alone. Hmmmm....I understand why they are up today and this month but there isn't any news to make it move back up so fast from Feb-April. Someone knew something.

WOW...glad I didn't short GM. Bond holders just took a beating. Not sure if they will still file. I think they will. So Gov. will own 70% of GM. UAW will own I think 17.5% and bond holders get 10%. Hmmmm.....????? So GM will only own 2.5%....that seems silly.

i reversed my position on SRS and LVS after near the peaks this morning, held all day and then reversed again back..made some good coin. im again long SRS, short LVS and long DTO from 88..as for siri i crapped when it hit .30 then decided to up another 20k shares..they are tied into the GM bk in more ways than one..I think GM will not file bk as this will hurt osama-bama too badly. He ia a harvard man and all his harvard cronnies have enlightned him to this fact. I do believe all the hype is just that, hype. the TV puppets are very convincing. But there is a chance, so I only dropped into 4k shares at 1.11 near todays close just for the gamble. nothing ventured, nothing gained. ya gotta luv cyber vegas

taters, sorry, i did not address your Question on SIRI shareholder meeting...I was extremly disappointed as a whole..They really did not get into the "parking lot" subscribers and why chrysler BK made it appear they lost alot of customers thru "creative accounting" practices. I really was convinced that SIRI would shoot up after the meeting, and it did not, it in fact went down...errrrr..after all they have a monopoly and a great and growing customer base. I remain bullish on this still..and if the GM story plays out as no BK this will move SIRI up in a big way..its a funny game the fat cats play, and our job is to try and outwit them, learn to read between the lines and not get burned. Taters, i forgot, I also bailed on Ford at the close today,took some profit, and that money rolled into GM, (F up and GM down) it seemed like the thing to do, but just for a few days.

X is up big again today. MT is down but still up a lot. Don't own either one. I think load up on these for short term plays if you can get in around $30-31. If going LONG, then the price is good now.

I called TDAmeritrade....they said GM stock is unshortable now. SUCKS!!! Morpheus....THEY WILL FILE!!! I'm willing to bet the house on that. THINK....you can not give the union 17.5% of your stock, bond holders 25% and the government the rest when there are a tond of outstanding shares. You have to SCREW shareholders to be able to get all new stock to issue and pay up. So hence....shareholders pay government/union/bond holders and get NOTHING but something in their portfolio that says they own a WORTHLESS company. Some people never learn about chapter 11 companies. I learned the hard way back in 2002. I had dropped $2,500 in my account...new trader. (Turned it into $29,000+ in just 2 months. Dropped $5,000 on WCOME (Worldcom) at $0.055 and sold at $0.24 and bought MCITE (MCI). I went to day shift and couldn't trade stocks anymore so bought KM at $0.48 having over 36,000 shares and HAYZ at $0.02 owning 500,000+ shares. Well, they both emerged from chapter 11 and stock was cancelled and I have nothing but worthless shares which still are in my account....lol. Its my leason!!!)

Now you can make a play on GM....not yet....but when they file...it will drop down to $0.05-.10 and should have a bounce 2-5 times on Tuesday as high as $0.30....no higher. Monday it will likely not trade so they can convert shares to OTCBB stock. So ticker will likely be GMQ. I have some costly experiance in this....

I called TDAmeritrade about making an account for the FREE shares we get. They said I can make an identical type of account and transfer the shares over at no cost. I think I will do this then I will be less likely to sell them. Make it a STRICT rules account where I can't take any profits. Hmmmm.....???? I think I will do it. I have 15 shares of MT to dump into it already or more.

Cramer mentioned this stock when a someone called in. SLM. Sallie Mae. He said he sees it doubling. Its at $7.93. Had a low of $7.55 today.

You can load up on AKS. That will be my next play I think. I scratched my head this morning when pre-market was selling MT at $36.25 putting me up over $400. Well, didn't sell because X was up big too hanging around $39. So was thinking it might keep going up. I knew I should of sold it and reloaded later. Ohhh well....still up $200+ on it.

I am not going to touch financials anymore. They are completely STUPID!!! What is even more stupid are the idiots buying GM (GMGMQ). Wow...it was at $1.80+ pre-market. What a bunch of idiots!!!

LVLT....sold at $1.19. Didn't even realize it hit today. Hope you all rode that one like I did. That is one you can ride back down if you have some guts.

MT....never sold this morning....scratching my head but going to load up some more.

Bank stocks...very interesting the latest news report out. Saying we have 3 beast...MS, GS, and JPM....then we have some laggers...BAC, WFC, then the rest are garbage....hmmmm....What a report!!

Well, I say buy WFC at $24.75 or less. Sell it at $26. I think the market will come back up at the end and close down 30 points. Then again...who knows how the financials work anymore.

LVLT...its back down already....geez.....Day trader now.

Morpheus....I looked at your short picks. SHFL/ISLE are casinos that popped over 20%. Not sure why but SHFL looks the most promising. LDK...not sure what to think.

BTU. I can agree with him. Its at $35.67. It was over $80 a year ago. I think this could double this year....most likely within 4-6 months.

I think X/MT/AKS/SLM/OCNF/DRYS/FRO will double as well this year.

Stocks to look at for a great gain are CAT/F/ok...brain fart and have to get my son. Nap time is over.

Possible plays to watch are: URRE/IVAN/LVLT/OPGSX/AUY...the list goes on.

I did grab 150 shares of MT at $34.48...have 305 shares now at $33.98 average. Looking to selling around $36-39. But set my sell for $68.00. I will only sell it for $36-39 is it pops and I feel a drawback. But I think I am long on it now. Guess long means longer then 2 weeks....lol. But good luck all!!

ps....I have the nap schedule worked out better so I can trade with you all and still be a good daddy. Plus rumors that I go back to work in July then I know I have 2 weeks off in July but hearing it could be 5 months. So hoping for the 5 months. I don't know what to think but the financials have roasted me good. I'm still holding SRS/SKF but not playing them. Will hold and see what happens but raising capital with the other money I have been trading with for a while now. I think I have made about $2-3k in the past 4 months trading with only about $10k. So not bad....but SKF/SRS going to these level...my margin funds are tightening up big. I can trade and make $400-600 in a day but SKF/SRS drops $1,500 in a day so either way taking beatings the past 4 months. However, I have crossed the road of GREEN every day for the past 2 weeks now.

Anyone thinking about ETFC...Etrade. I think its pretty cheap.

Ohh yeah....I have noticed this...MT/X/AKS have been moving opposite of SKF/SRS. So interesting.

MT....Reason they are not at $40 is because they are in labor agreements with the union. Once its settled....this should rocket up.

My father is debating on betting it all on X and we're talking a lot of money. He expects it will go up to $120 in 1 years time or higher.

I'm so bad....I think I'm gonna dump MT and reload it again at a lower price. LOL!!!

So jobs report came out at 601,000 unemployed. They said that is GREAT NEWS....Better Than Expected. LOL!!! That is still a lot of people with no job and they can only count the ones that get paid unemployment....there still is MILLIONS of people who can't collect unemployment. I still think the housing market will crap still. There are still a lot of foreclosures happening. Interest rates moving back up. Still looks like a disaster to me. However, the CLOWNS on CNBC said a few weeks ago that foreclosure rate has slowed down....but still gaining high numbers of foreclosures. I really wonder if all of them are that STUPID!!! People don't want to lose their house so a lot of people sacraficed better then others to hold on to their house as long as possible. That is why there is the continued increase in forclosures. It was the irresponsible people that lost their house in the begginning by living CHECK to CHECK.

Well, have to see what I will do....I have more money available today.

I bailed on SHFL about midday due to lack of movment..doubled up on my SRS position with the proceeds near what happen to be near the day lows..eeeehhaaa...it was funny to me..the market up 110 and SRS up too...i figured if the market pulls back only that muchbetter for an inverse stock like SRS..i remain bias down and believe the dow is starting a downward trend from here..my holding remain fully invested 7 stocks...long SIRI (story stock) SRS SKF short LDK JASO YGE(solar) and ISLE (casino)...gotta luv cyber vegas

Hey guys, I'm new here. I've been trading for a little more than a year now. I've had some ups and downs, but overall I've made smart moves. I jump on here from day-to-day to see what your all talking about, then try to make my best decisions. I've seen plenty of talk about SIRI and I like where they are right now, being a monopoly and etc... I got in yesterday at .365, and I'm trying to figure out where they're going to top out. Are they going to top out at .43 again? Or are they going to shoot up to .63 like they did about a month ago, They have plenty of good news backing them up. I hate waiting too long and loosing what I had because of greed. My best guess is they will go up to about .47. But I'm wondering when that will be, or if that's acurate. I can't hold this for too long, It's a big part of my income. Any opinions would be GREATLY appreciated!! Thanks guys.

traded out and in SKF all day and made great coin..bailed on YRCW at the close..it really jumped at the close and I was compelled to take a 20% profit..especially on a dow down day..and oh yeah..SIRI continues to go to the moon..go man go..
TJ..to anwwer your Q's on when to bail on SIRI..my suggestion is to not sell until JUNE 10 (2 days after they report earnings) but im holding till it hit at least 2 bucks..(I will most likely trade in and out small percentage of my holdings just to make chump change after the earnings)and will take a trim 50% off the table above 2 bucks..thats just me..im an Idiot..but it will be really fun trying. This will put me into my condo in Tahoe by Christmas and a new Escalade to trudge to the slopes..bet on it. SIRI is a cash machine and making big bucks..once the rest of cyber vegas sees the big picture..skys the limit..IMHO

Thanks for the welcome, and the opinion! I'll be watching carefully tomorrow to see if there's a pull back at .44 and I may sell just to take some profit. But then buy it back at a low and let it ride. I'm not quite sure if I can afford to let it all go 'till July 10 or not. I'd definitely like to though. I think I'd stand to make a good chunk! I'll continue with more research and try to make a good decision.

Hey guys,
I sold SIRI today at about .46 and made almost $2400. My best week! This profit/income gives me a lot of breathing room. My best guess with SIRI today was they were going to hit about .47, and there was going to be a big drop with lots of people taking their profits. And I still think they are going to go lower than their close today in the next few days, and hopefully I'll be able to get back in. I feel that they will bottom out at about .41, and then shoot through the roof towards their earnings report. This is my best guess anyway, don't trust me. I'm positive I don't have the Chart, tech. etc. knowledge that you all do. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Nice trade TJ. Congrats. Almost perfect exit actually for the short term trade. I'm in SIRI long for at least a few weeks. I feel good about this one. Great chart right now, technicals all pointing up. Volume is crazy. Good news swirling around the media. I think it will go higher into next week before the dip, but you never can tell. Either way, I am holding SIRI for a little while.

MT...I think judging the movement of X, NUE, AKS...I think MT may touch $33.80 or higher today. Especially if the market turns around. And if they do turn around then AKS will likely touch $19.30 or higher.

Hey All,
I've been watching SIRI carefully here and doing more checking on them. As far as their earnings report, I thought it didn't come out until August 3rd, not early July (8th?). Am I missing something here???
Any opinions would be appreciated.

Like a ghost town in here this week. Still long in SIRI here, not much else going on for me. TJ, it looked to me that the earnings are in early August when I checked as well. Not sure about the July date Morpheus mentioned in the earlier post.

about SIRI..i believe the i had stated Aug 4 as the est report date...and the earnings and outlook will be spectacular...just call the customer service people when you sign up for the Iphone SIRI service..talk to the person taking your order..24/7 400+ cust reps, taking subscriptions orders non stop...all profit to the bottom line..id say they are looking to make lots of mola above and beyond having all the car manufactures and a monolopy on the entire country and soon to be asia and china...NOW I ask you ..if that aint a story stock or what??

oh by the way...I have only been trading SKF in and out multiple time daily..seems to follow the dow jones pretty religously and easy to predict action when the dow i up a bunch I buy SKF and vice versa..and I remain whole hog on SIRI..its a make or break situation here..

i refuse to let the profit taking in SIRI deter me from my mid/long range goal..althought i did take a little off the table at 48 and back in at .445 ...totally crazy...

I hear you Morph. There is a lot of daytrading going on with SIRI. Thats okay. I held my shares, although it was tempting. If we break .50 maybe I will take some profit and buy back in on the dip. I will play it by ear. But I know for sure that i want to be holding SIRI come earnings.

just picked up 5k of YRCW *1.51 and have been making good buck on TNA riding down the short and now trading in and out ..itfollows the DOW pretty close and is easy to forcast

TJ and and sju...with SIRI being down right now...buy more, I did ..I believe itisjust the pros trying to shake out any weak holdings and this is a great opportunity to back up the truck..im buying 25k lots at a time right now..I now have 775k shares and buying more on dips..if it goes down a nickle from here I will be forced to trim my holdings due to margin...but I dont think so

I would love to pick up more SIRI, but unfortunately my funds are all tied up. Also, my broker will not allow margin use on stocks priced under $3.00. That really pissed me off because I wanted to load up on SIRI, but I can only purchase with cash. Oh well.

sju...you need to go with Interactive Broker..they have trades for a buck..(but not on stocks under a buck) margin is all good and a really slick click and trade screen for fast in and outs

I also have a few Scottrade accounts (margin and 7 buck trades) that I trade my IRA in...I use the level 2 charts, along with the level 2 quotes with IB, as the real time charts are really great

Thanks Morph. I will have to check out Scottrade and Interactive Broker.

I am currently with Zecco. The interface is ok, but the charting tools suck. I use stockcharts.com for charting. I also have margin with Zecco, but they do not allow you to use it for stocks below $3.00. That's my biggest complaint. I did hear a lot of good things about Scottrade.

Morpheus you got some big kahunas there with SIRI. I picked some up a couple weeks ago, still holding shares from $2.05 to from last July when it dropped like a rock. Always seems when there's good news with SIRI it drops plus that approved rev/split is kind of scary. It will be interesting to see which way it goes with the earnings news.

here is my thought on SIR...yes it has been pulling back..there has been zero news...this is the "quiet period" for the company to not leak anything so as not to raise flags with the SEC..I consider my shares.."money in the bank"..this pullback is a fantastic buying opportunity..I have been adding with each 1.5 penny down..that is my strategy..good luck to me

I picked up some KKD the other day at 2.53. Today it was at 2.72. I'm thinking it's going to do a little better so I'm holding.

ONT has been pretty predictable as of late. I'm thinking about picking some up at .39. You still playing that one R1?
