That is great. Your up $168 of 4% I usually take profits after it moves 2-4%. When you do sell it. Try grabbing ONT at $0.51-52. Sell at $0.53-54. With the money you have there, you would make $140 a penny it moves. I did that a few times now. Well, good luck and if I can dump something, I will short SCA in premarket. It was $3.03 premarket. Closed very strong so guessing it will be $3.25 premarket then drop down to $2.80.
Got out at 7.31 and 7.33. TMAN...

Grabbed 9,150 shares of ONT at $0.5229.

RAD.....$1.28 x 1.29. I would grab some for LONG.

WOW.......this hurts pretty bad. Down $2,461 on FNM and down $575 on ONT. I think after I sell my FNM, I'm going to just short stocks for a while.

WAVE...$0.96. Day trader. Ride to $1.00 and dump!!

My hands are tied behind my back right now. Can't really do anything for trading. Was going to dump FNM at $9.50 and jump back in at $9.00. Missed my chance...was in the shower. Think I will just hold everything and X my fingers.

Might short F also.

SCA....$1.61 x $1.62. Might grab some and ride to $1.70

Out again. Right now the market has been kicking my butt. I buy something, it goes down. So what better way to deal with a BEAR market then just sell stocks short.

VC.....short play....???? This is like playing chicken now. Potential to hit $4.00 but at $3.41 now. I think it will drop back to $3.22 Thursday. Not really sure.

SCA....Short play. $1.77....cover $1.62....make 9.3%

SIRI....$1.35 now...up 2.3%. Selling at $1.38 or $1.40. Will decide in 30 minutes. Really want to short SCA but need that money.

Not too sure if I like this one. I have a ton of cash to burn. I'm thinking of RAD at $1.26. I have 3 strikes against me and can't afford anymore so Shorting is out of the question. Thinking unless I go to work late, I'm just not going to buy anything today.

I think I know my target. F, they are selling $500 million in common shares to pay off debt. I'm thinking the $5.11 close on friday will end up being a $4.80 close Monday or lower. 6.5% drop or higher. Lets see. Will update post in AM.

Well, the market got punched in the eye again. What a weird market. So here is my pick.

F....$4.74. Ripe now and exit at $4.90-5.00. Make 3-5%.

WM....$4.04. Ride back to $4.30 for a 6.4% gain. This one is risky though so you all know.

FRE....$4.00. I would be willing to roll the dice on this one and think we are at or close to bottom. I would run at $4.40-4.80.

TMAN...

Who the hell knows. If the damn government would just ACT instead of trashing the stock the market would have some awesome gains.

NVDA.....$13.98....up 14.3% since pick.

F.....$4.62.....down more....very cheap!!

IDEV....$2.22....flat now. Up over 33% since pick.

One that I wrote down but never posted.
TWB....price when wrote down was $8.30. Now its at $10.16....up 22.4%. Sorry for not posting....didn't look it over.

So...FRE and FNM....just imagine if we had SHORTED this say at $17 for FNM and $12 for FRE. We would be LOADED!!! So, the bottom....hmmmm.....I think that depends on the news. So....Government says they will support FRE and FNM and give them unlimited borrowing....and now they say were not gonna help. That is why the stock shot up so dang much and then crashed. So, Government gives money....shareholders get screwed.....???? Good question! I am really scared of both of these stocks right now. Scared to buy or sell short. I'm staying away now.

BAC....$28.49. Still holding my 900 shares....down $1,305. Wish I had waited and bought later.

ONT...$0.451. Just loaded up 5,500 shares yesterday at $0.4724. What bad luck this week. I think its a bargin though.

Good luck all!!

This was asked of me last night. Enjoy.

frm your posts i can tell that you are in and out of equities a lot - I am beginning to get in doing similar thing and know about the 3 or 4 times per week day trading requires 25k in cash balance - is that accurate? could you elaborate?

also how do you come about the tips on getting in and out of particular stock? for example you mentioned BAC in at 29.90 and out at 31 or 32....thats not bad...all i am looking to do is make may be 100-200 dollars...this is not my only source of income so i m not depending on this. any advice, appreciated.

Yes. 3 intraday trades is ok in 5 days....4 gets you suspended if you don't have $25,000 or more.

I am for one a math wiz. I look at stocks and find patterns. I have lately been watch the news with the stock market updates and write down ones that catch my eye and look at them. I listen to what they say on Cramer when I do watch and check his picks from time to time. I have comfort ranges on particular stocks that I know will perform like F....its at $4.63. We all know that is a $5+ stock and if you hold for 2-3 years it will likely be a $12+ stock....more like $30.

BAC....it only came down because of the financial scare. They bought out a ton of banks and have a divy. They are making money!! They have tons of potential. I try to be modest so I can get in and get out without any trouble. When you try and pinch every penny....you get burned in most cases.

I like to watch a stock for a few hours and see where the market is comfortable at. Then I pick a target entry and a target exit. Say a stock opens at $5.00....it moves up to $5.75 then comes down to $5.20. I know that it will likely move part way back to $5.75 so I will say...entry is $5.25 and exit is $5.50. This is conservative. If you look back at some of my picks...you will notice that many of them went FAR higher then what I said to sell them at. Why??? I am all about make your target in money and move on. I can make 2-4% each trade I am all good. I do 5 trades and I have made 10-20% + interests. Or I could hold a stock for 2-3 weeks and make 10-20%. I like to have my dinner on my plate....not in the oven cooking.

Tips....my father and I will talk from time to time about stocks. He has far more $$$ then me and a different strategy in making $$$. He buys 1,000 shares and waits until it moves $1.00 then sells. I buy 5,000 shares and wait for $0.20 and make $1,000. His picks are far more conservative then mine.

Hopefully I have answered your questions and I will post this all since you asked and others might be thinking the same.

Bill

BBI buy at 2.32 or under, wait till maybe the middle of September and unload at 2.80.

TTM buy in the 9.30's unload at 10.50ish. Might take up to three weeks or so.

Those be my guesses!

There ya go! Glad to see someone post something besides me and TMan. Your picks are fine. I think the TTM will take longer then 3 weeks. I would give it 2 months. BBI....hmmmm....I know its cheap but is it really cheap? It dipped down low in July then peaked back up and back in the gutter again. Problem here is....traders might get comfortable with the current price range as a average instead of thinking...."BBI is a $3-4 stock. This is cheap". However the longer it hovers low like this the less likely we will see any big movements upwards.

Buying individual banks right now is insanely risky. People have been calling the botton for months now and probably will continue to for another year or 2. I believe financials are going to get way worse before they will get better. That doesn't mean they won't have small run up which I think you are trying to take advantage of. I wish you the best of luck, but right now for me I will only play the whole sector of financials vice individual stocks.

SKF
The fund normally invests 80% of assets in financial instruments with economic characteristics that should be inverse to those of the index.

UYG
The fund normally invests 80% of assets in financial instruments with economic characteristics that should be twice the return of the index.

So in a nutshell if you think financials have hit a bottom buy UYG or short SKF and if you think they are going to tank then long SKF and short UYG.

Welcome to my trend delgotit99 and deathtoradio. I will take a look at your picks when I get a chance. Looking like Sunday night possibly. I did see a stock that caught my eye tonight.

PTA $2.00. It dropped $1.31 Thursday and was normally sitting at $4-6 range. I guess they have a dispute with a company. From what I read they are being asked to provide more proof of funds.....??? Anyways....as the smoke clears...I can say this should take a nice bounce. I'll be conservative and predict $2.50. But honestly, I think you can hit $2.75 today or next week. These are the types of plays I usually look for....well when I posted all the OLD OLD posts where normally these types of stocks gain 40%+

Well, sitting on my ONT and BAC still. Debating on what to do. I am all good if I sit on them....obviously ONT. I think my BAC will hit $31 by months end. Especially because of the DIVY. Alright....off to bed. Good luck all and thanks for the picks delgotit99.

R1: I do see a possible short squeeze happening soon (hopefully today) in financials. People are so heavily shorting these stocks that the slightest run up will trigger a panic and many people will be covering their losses.

For weekend swing I like AUY and KGC.
