Geez, I hadn't looked closely at that one. I got killed on it. I sold at 2.30, so if you sell now you did better than I did... Sorry, can't gve you anything more than that.

Bought DFT at 1.91 and am still holding overnight. It went over $2 but I got greedy and never sold, and it's now below where I bought, so that was stupid, but I think it will get back up tomorrow.
Got GGP at 1.32 today and sold at 1.39 just before the close. It was over $1.50 but like DFT, I held too long and lost a bunch of my gains.
Bought CCO at 3.58 but it never really bounced. Sold at 3.61 just before the market closed.
Made a few bucks today, but nothing exciting.

Good trading day for you! I am stuck at ACAS and GM though. I might keep GM for a week and ACAS seems like is waiting for a bounce tomorrow.

stock buyer, the first rule I have is never just hold and hope (though I violate that rule far more often than I care to admit). If you have a legitimate reason to thikn that it will bounce, that's one thing, but if not, just take your loss and have your money ready for one that you are more confident in.
Just something I've learned over the years.

I can tell what you say makes sense. I really think ACAS will go up a bit tomorrow. I can't bring a reason but that's how the curve suggests and ACAS is not a junk stock. Also I am optimistic about Omaba-Bush conversations about auto industry. Obama has asked Bush to help it but Bush is yet to agree. There is a chance it will work for GM. It is already cheap. What do you think? I know you are busy so you can answer me after close.

Sorry, I didn't dig in to either, but there's no way I'd be long a compnay like GM overnight. At that point you could get news that it's bankrupt, or news that the gov't is bailing them out. It's just gambling at that point in my opinion.

Im not sure if SVR is a good pick. The reason they lost 50% of their value is because two major cell phone companies dropped them because they didnt want to outsource the technology anymore. I cant seem to find the article, but I know Altell was one of them.

Sniper, I daytrade, so SVR is off my radar now. I don't care why things are down, usually when they go down huge, regardless of the reason, they have a bounce at some point. GGP was a good example today. hey may be going bankrupt, but I made a ton on it today because it bounced a few times.
A stock that bounces from -50% to -25% during a day may look bad to most people (down 25% at it's best) but to me, if you buy a $10 stock at 5 and sell at $7.50, who cares if it's down 25%, you made 50% on the trade.

I'm not finding this info. I covered my PUTS today. Where are you finding this?

and it was a single tarde for 108 shares, so something was screwed up with that one I think.
Anyway, I tried to post the following earlier, but I had posted somethign else and got that annoying "You must wait 60 seconds to post" error, and forgot to repost it. I got out at .46 and .4799 just before the close and made a good amount today.
For future reference I will sell before the close most of the time, espeicially one like this that is bordering on insolvency. Just like I mentioned about GM, it could gap up or down huge, and that's more gambling than trading.
