NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Universal Express Inc. (OTCBB: USXP), was informed today on an OTCBB website that an "E" suffix was threatened to be applied to Universal Express' ticker symbol due to the Company's prior accountant not filing a letter to announce his retirement and compliance with the accountants who took over his existing clients.
"All of Universal Express' records and filings are up to date and current, and our attorneys and accountants will resolve this unnecessary bureaucratic inconvenience which was not due to any wrong by the Company," said Richard Altomare, Chairman and CEO of Universal Express, Inc.
"Our logistical issue was finding the retired accountant in hours to get his signature. Our reasonable request would have been that we received more than a 24 hour notice to solve this unimportant and inconsequential issue, and that a company is timely informed through authoritative sources, not from websites."
We have today issued the appropriate 8-k filing with the SEC and OTCBB.
"An 'E' often indicates late or critical lapses in reporting. This is our first blush with a missing signature! It will be resolved. If we had been afforded the reasonable time courtesy of a letter instead of a 24 hour threat, this unfortunate and annoying situation would never have occurred. It will be resolved, and we will conduct and request an investigation on how such 24 hour 'E' posting can be so casually implemented without due process and professional courtesy for a company that has filed impeccably for 12 years," concluded Richard Altomare.

Should be great! If the E is gone tomorrow tha will be an up day, then with the NAZ PR being talked about so much and Tut mouthing off about the squeeze that might go off, especially with the right PR...
-Heck we have EVERYTHING to look forward to, this is a down day! -and we haven't fallen much at all!

Umm chart....the E WILL be off tomorrow.....
and umm a removal of E would NOT merit an upday, given they were delinquent to begin with... it will come off tomorrow...and trading will be the same....unless other factors come into play

And yes I think that in itself "could" bring us up.
My point was that there are MANY things that are suppossed to happen here very soon, and that we have these things to look forward to. From FREE shares to possible NAZ PR's!!!
1. How do I get the "E" removed from my trading symbol now that my company filings are current? In order to demonstrate compliance with Rule 6530 and get the "E" removed from an issuer's trading symbol, please call the OTCBB Hotline in the OTCBB Issuer Filings Department. Please leave the following information on the voicemail: your name and phone number, the company name and trading symbol, and filng type and date submitted. It is important to note that you will not receive a return call if your filing compliance is confirmed. Instead, you should check the Daily List for confirmation that your trading symbol will be changed to remove the "E" on the following business date. If compliance is not demonstrated before the publication time of the Daily List, approximately 2:00 PM, then it may not be possible to remove the "E" in time for the next trading day. In that case, you should check the Daily List the day after you call the hotline for notification that the symbol will be changed at the opening of the market on the second day after you made the call to demonstrate compliance. 2. How long does it take to get an "E" removed from my trading symbol? Generally, it takes one business day after compliance is verified. However, depending on timing of the company's filing and verification by NASDAQ, it may take two business days.

I'm ready for that PR saying the NAZ is coming - but something tells me that Rufie will make sure the shares are delivered prior to the NAZ move....and I think the 10Q will be right there in short order with it all.

This is the strangest thing I can ever remember.......I had an office on Ave Of the Americas (6th Ave)for many years and I can never recall something like this happening ...A change in listing.......when a company officer didn't address it immediately. I have dealt with many....there must be some type of logical solution to this but I can't come close to figuring it out. Why wouldn't it be addressed ? Someone please try to give me some kind of reasonable solution. I'd rather hear it from Rufus or Sabra... not Tut. GLTA

You know, much has been made about the E...we know it is there, the MMs know it is there, and to me, that is where most of our buying is going to come from in the next few days. I am actually as unconcerned right now as I have been at any other time with this stock....JMHO

like i said? for a grand? i'll put it all into a nice presentation package forya...
fact: AMTD players sold hundreds of millions of shares befoer they were available to everybody else... the only way that could have happened is because AMTD didn't bother to verify the existence of the shares.. the solution was to force the company to issue, then RS them while trading was halted...
BUT? most of US never saw the shares until after the halt.. AMTDers made out pretty well on that i didn't...
i have to add this litttel jibe at Tex... Scottrade might have let us sell too if soembody hadn't called them up and told them something was wrong

If you are convinced that the E will be off tomorrow (or soon) do what I did! BUY MORE!
When the E is gone the panic will subside and the price should go back up to where it was yesterday EOD. Let's see, buy 1,000 shares at 1.85 today then sell 1,000 shares at 2.15 tomorrow after the E is gone...Quick $300.00. If news comes out it'll only make it go higher.
