So we don't really know where his shares are? Am I right to think it would be impossible for Rufus to have them without a big legal papertrail that we would have noticed?

if you have some time, this audio file is interesting and deals with another stock that is having the same problem we have with tda and short selling. listen from 14:00 on. It's kinda long but just fast forward through some.

Suprise, suprise!! No public statement by TD Ameritrade, no threat of lawsuits more than 24 hours after the Rufus PR. This can only mean one thing. They know that they are in the wrong and imo the best thing for them to do is to let it blow over as painlessly as possible. The most important thing for them now is to try and cover.I know this would be my plan if i was in their shoes! We know from the buying restrictions, that they are looking out for themselves!

morning all. Hey Tax if you can make that other board happen I'm game. I think it's a great idea. I don't think we'll see anything huge today. I'd love to be wrong but I agree with dog and chart.

True. I'd take a few pennies up everyday as long as we're going up. I know the pps now doesn't mean anything, but I sure as hell hate to see them take it down.

Maybe with no response from Ameritrade, people are starting to believe what Rufus is saying...thus the price moving up a bit. Just a thought.

I don't post much. I read and absorb all though. Tax you stuck the idea out there about the board. If you need help/direction...web programming is my forte. That's one area where I know I have strong skills and I'd be willing to participate in that.

This can tickle the .92 area today without doin any damage...if early enough today , it may even be able to get a penny or two lower than that..
Support on an incline through out the day... .925 being the highest level EOD

Quick edit here...
The .925 support level i have refered to, is a long term, MAJOR support level...
It's critical that this stays above those numbers today...
There are a boatload of minor support levels to get through, before it gets there..

Sounds like a definite interest in the board. As I said last night shouldn't be too dificult to get something going.
I have been thinking about it for a long time, kinda mashing my hobby with my career kinda thing. I don't want to tick off Allstocks though in the process, I really like what we have got going here and it is one of the best trading communities on the Internet. I will kick something together and then invite you over. I will probably ask a few of you like (I got a headach) Wally, and others to help develop the rules and enforcement of the board following the invite. The idead was creating a place where we can just talk good stocks, no pump, and no bash.
I think that is the goal of most of these boards but some how the rules always get a bit lost along the way as they become larger and more generalized.

Thanks Lincoln I will see if there is anything I need PM me a gist of your skill-set. languages, UI, BLL, DAL, I think there may be a few custom user controls that could be helpful down the line. Let me know what you can help out with.

I haven't read back through everything overnight, so I hope this hasn't been mentioned before....
I know EggInspector (for those who were on XKEM) and a few others recently started a new board for exactly that purpose. Concentrating on DD. It has been very slow starting even though it has been by invite to keep out the pumpers and bashers. Two points come out of that: 1) everyone still seems to gravitate here because of the level of action, and 2) they may want to join forces with us since it is for the same purpose...

For OUR protection rat aswell as myself are watching for chart pattern breakers, something that will screw up the "pattern" if you will... because if that happens then a crash will happen.
That's why rat always says this or this can happen and not "screw up" the charts...
So we have our butts covered that way as far as loss is concerned, but honestly, with Rufus taking on Ameritrade I think Rufus is the real deal.
I think buying will be tight, and with that short interest so high we should have that upward pressure still, closing a bit in the green like we have been -when it's not screwed with ~
I think this is just a waiting game personally...
Think we're going to bag a big one here, God only knows what Rufus has up his sleeve, and yes I think he does, I've followed his quotes and go back to them all the time.
He did have a plan in place, that's why he's so up front about things, -the BBQ, the message boards, pal talk.
FWIW, That's my take on things ~
I totally agree with Chartman...I think Rufas has had a very long time to plan this one out and make sure all bases are covered. He is now just following his own script.

I have picks on .73 my son has pick on .53. The only reason it would go that low would be because of the attack on AMTD. JMHO
