About XsunX

XsunX, Inc. is developing Power Glass™ – an innovative thin film solar energy technology that allows glass windows to produce electricity from the power of the sun. XsunX is leveraging its portfolio of patents, and developing new technologies, to commercialize Power Glass™ technology as the solution for integrating renewable power generating properties onto millions of square feet of modern architectural glass and building facades.

XsunX believes that Power Glass™ technology can provide an ideal solution for the wide scale integration of real energy producing products into living and working environments – all without causing disruptive and costly changes to lifestyles.

The Business

XsunX believes that the integration of alternative energy producing technologies into our environments will be part of an inevitable progression of the development of new energy sources for the next century as the world creates a new energy economy based on clean and renewable energy sources.

Our Markets

The Company's management believes that one of the primary markets for XsunX Power Glass™ technology will be the makers and fabricators of glass. In today’s, highly competitive, multi-billion dollar glass industry, the advantages of XsunX transparent solar cell technology is not only quite clear, but also highly anticipated. This is especially true in the market for architectural glass, which is a very large industry, generating worldwide revenues in the hundreds of billions of dollars.

Our Strategy

The Company's strategy is to complete the development and commercialization of its Power Glass™ process, and then enter into licensing relationships with channel partners who will manufacture and distribute products made with XsunX solar electric glass technology.

XsunX technology, applied to the already quite large and established glass and building industries, will enable solar energy-production to enter mainstream markets because it can readily become integral to the designs of buildings. Builders and manufacturers of building products already use glass, plastic and other materials, so they may be especially attracted to the economic and marketing benefits of using the same materials to produce electrical energy while continuing to function as window or display surfaces.

XsunX intends to be a technology leader in the field of building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV).

The Opportunity

Energy Everywhere

With enough energy from the sun reaching our planet every minute to supply the world’s energy needs for a whole year, the solution to our ever increasing energy demands is all around us in the form of sunlight. Developing technology to capture and convert as much of the sun’s energy into usable electrical energy is the business of XsunX. The result is Power Glass™ technology.

XsunX Vision

XsunX believes that the wide scale use of architectural glass as a power-generating platform to provide a break-through technological application innovation will make solar energy economically feasible and provide an opportunity for the solar energy market to explode.

XsunX Mission

XsunX intends to maximize shareholder value by being the recognized leader in the Building Integrated Photovoltaics industry. The Company aims to commercialize the XsunX Power Glass™ solar cell structure and manufacturing process as a competitive alternative to non-energy producing coatings and glazing for applications in the worldwide architectural glass, optical film, and plastics markets.

Power Glass
Expanding the Opportunities for Solar Energy Applications

XsunX has focused on the development of very thin semi-transparent coatings and films that create large area monolithic solar cell structures that you can see through. This semi-transparency makes Power Glass™ glazing desirable for placing over glass, plastics, and other see-through structures. Using patented processes, such as reel-to-reel manufacturing techniques and multi-terminal cell structure designs, we are working to commercialize large area cell manufacturing processes for thin film flexible plastics.

Power Glass™ represents a new breed of solar cell design that balances solar cell efficiencies and manufacturing costs with broad applications and uses. The Company believes that these design, manufacturing, and application efficiencies may provide as much as a 100% efficiency-to-cost gain over conventional opaque solar cells. This 100% gain in efficiency-to-cost is based on Company estimates of Power Glass™ solar cells operating at as much as 50%, or half, the efficiency of conventional opaque amorphous solar cells yet costing as little as 25%, or one fourth, to produce. Final cost to efficiency analysis will be determined upon completion of development.

Applications

Expanding the Role and Use of Our Environments

The ability to incorporate large amounts of solar cells onto a structure provides for significant opportunities to produce greater amounts of usable energy. Further benefits can be derived from incorporation of these large amounts of solar cells into common building materials such as glass and plastics.

Today, the use of architectural glass and transparent plastics in the design and construction of commercial and industrial facilities is staggering in scope. The world-wide markets for these glass and laminates reaches into the hundreds of billions. Energy producing Power Glass™ glazing applied to the transparent surfaces of these commercial and industrial buildings provides the opportunity for substantial benefits as a competitive alternative to non-energy producing coatings and glazing. The electrical power generated can be used to run building systems and reduce dependency on grid-based power supplies.

Builders and manufacturers of building products already use glass, plastic, and other materials, so they may be especially attracted to the economic and marketing benefits of using the same materials to produce electrical energy while continuing to function as window, display, or façade surfaces. In the future, XsunX believes that a substantial portion of electrical power can be generated in dense urban areas using Power Glass™ glazing.

Key XsunX Milestones

1. In May of 2004, the Company produced working model samples of its semi-transparent photovoltaic glazing process that exceeded 4% electrical conversion efficiency rates. These working models established the basis for process and cell refinement that the Company believes may provide conversion efficiencies of 6% or greater.

2. The development of working models provided the foundation for commercial viability showing that the XsunX process may provide an almost 100% efficiency-to-cost gain that may, for the first time, provide return on investment or “ROI” ratios that make sense.

3. In June 2004, the Company negotiated an at-cost cooperative venture with MVSystems, Inc., a Colorado based corporation that designs, builds, and delivers state-of-the-art manufacturing tools designed specifically for the thin film semiconductor market. MVS is equipped with both the technical staff and tools necessary for the development and commercialization of the XsunX glazing process. The terms of the working relationship provide XsunX with complete R&D facilities without mark-up for profit on the use of staff and equipment. This helped XsunX to avoid costly outlays of capital by eliminating the need to duplicate similar facilities.

4. In June 2004, the Company launched Phase Two of its R&D efforts under the guidance of Dr. Arun Madan as Chairman of the XsunX Scientific Advisory Board. This plan called for an approximate nine month R&D cycle that at its conclusion is anticipated to provide the Company with demonstrable products and the ability to begin licensing and sales efforts.

5. As of the end of July 2004, the Phase Two development plan had accomplished the successful development of large area manufacturing processes for each of the multiple layers that make up the XsunX solar cell design. This was a big step in moving towards a commercially viable process.

6. In September 2004, the Company entered into a royalty free agreement for the licensing of a portfolio of patents and technologies that cover a wide area of both solar cell structure, design and manufacturing processes. These intellectual properties were developed under the guidance of Dr. Arun Madan whose 30 plus year career in the solar industry began with the creation of the first amorphous solar cell in the early 1970’s.

7. On-going development is now underway to establish viable manufacturing techniques for increasing the active power producing ratios of the glazing to as near 100% as possible (i.e. the percentage of total area coated by the glazing that converts sunlight to usable electrical energy as compared to the total size or area of glass or other transparent substrates covered by the glazing).

8. In November 2004, the Company launched development efforts for the Power Glass™ process on thin films. This area of research and development represents significant commercial importance for the company. By combining the ability to manufacture semi-transparent solar cells on thin-film inexpensive plastics with the use of patented reel-to-reel cartridge manufacturing systems, the commercial viability gains are anticipated to be significant.

Technology: R&D

Leveraging 30 Years of PV Progress

XsunX is commercializing its patented technology, and developing new technology, through the contracting for research, development, and commercialization processes with certain qualified facilities. We believe that this product development process provides the Company with the fastest path to marketable products, the maximization of corporate resources, and, the broadest access to device, optical, and material engineering facilities and technical expertise.

XsunX has established a strategic relationship with Colorado based MVSystems, Inc. that designs, builds, and delivers state-of-the-art manufacturing tools designed specifically for the thin film semiconductor market. MVS is equipped with both the technical staff and tools necessary for the development and commercialization of the XsunX glazing process. The terms of the working relationship provide XsunX with complete R&D facilities without mark-up for profit on the use of staff and equipment. This helps XsunX to avoid costly outlays of capital by eliminating the need to duplicate similar facilities.
MVS Research Facility

Under the guidance of Dr. Arun Madan, MVSystems founder and the Chairman of the XsunX Scientific Advisory Board, MVSystems is spearheading the coordination of other research facilities and the development of commercially viable processes for the manufacture of large area semi-transparent solar cell systems and manufacturing processes.

>ALISO VIEJO, Calif., March 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- XsunX, Inc. (OTCBB:XSNX),
developer of Power Glass(tm) -- an innovative thin film solar technology that is
intended to allow glass windows to produce electricity from the power of the
sun, announced today that a patented reel-to-reel thin film manufacturing
system, under license to XsunX, was used to successfully complete production of
amorphous thin film silicon samples on rolls of plastic film. The sample film
was produced using a development scale machine and the results of this process
will be incorporated into the Company's first commercial scale system currently
under construction.

"We are very excited about the results and progress made in the development of
this hybrid system architecture," stated Dr. Arun Madan, Chairman of the XsunX
Scientific Advisory Board. "We have taken our patented idea and successfully
reduced it to a working system providing the basis for system scalability and
the potential for reductions to per watt manufacturing costs that should be
welcomed by the industry."

Upon completion the commercial production system will incorporate the Company's
hybrid systems design based on technology under exclusive license from
MVSystems, Inc. This design combines the scalability of reel-to-reel processing,
and the use of flexible rolled substrates, with the exact processing
capabilities of cluster tool vacuum deposition systems. The Company believes
that through the selective integration of the better attributes of these
previously separate system types, the fabrication of an array of new and
efficient thin film devices on flexible substrates may be possible. The Company
plans to begin marketing its manufacturing systems and thin film technologies to
potential licensees in the spring.

I was in at 1.66 last week. Given that this is fairly big news, I think it won't be dipping until maybe Wednesday. Looking to sell at around 2.40-2.50 and rebuy at around 2.15 during the ensuing profit taking.

I think it'll hit 5 in May when order start flowing, and I have no clue on the upside once there's a completed installation.

Column Excerpt: Investing in Near-Zero Emissions

By Catherine Lacoursiere

Coal, abundant and cheap, makes up 56 percent of electric power generation
in the United States, which has 250 years of coal reserves. With the help
of generous tax incentives, the government is pushing for the use of more
clean coal.

The major clean coal technology is gasification, specifically the
Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) plant, which converts coal
into a syngas that produces hydrogen and steam while sequestering the CO2.
The prototype plant, FutureGen, combines turbines and solid oxide fuel
cells (SOFC) to produce electric power. Large power plant developers such
as GE and Bechtel are the primary developers. However, there are a number
of technologies that will make up next generation gasification plants.
FuelCell Energy (NASDAQ: FCEL) has just been selected by the U.S.
Department of Energy for an award of an $85 million project over 10 years,
subject to final negotiation of a contract, to produce 100-MW solid oxide
fuel cell (SOFC) system for use in a gasification plant. The project aims
to convert coal into grid electrical power while capturing 90 percent of
carbon dioxide emissions and achieving a 50% overall efficiency, up from
35% today.

Steve Eschbach, director of investor relations of FuelCell Energy expects
commercial prototypes could be introduced in about seven years, following a
similar commercialization timeline as its Direct FuelCell® power plant,
which was in the market within 10 years of its development program with the
DOE.

You think it will go back up in the next few days Nar?? I am worried about getting back in at this level. I feel like this might be the top for now, unless more news comes out.
