I wonder if anyone recorded phone calls with their brokers. I heard you can access their tapes, but I would worry about them disappearing. I'm sure there is a lot of evidence out there, if we pulled together some lawyer could have a field day. Just seems like they are playing hardball. I don't mind playin', cuz I will win.

I talked to ameritrade on Sunday and they said the shares had been delivered by DTC and thats why they showed up in my account but they could not give me anything in writing, I think its a bunch of bull

Well....I won't be selling anymore until it's worked out....I can just see having to cover 290 million shares at .05 or some absurd BS dreamt up by this POS managment team...

If they have tapes on file, if subpoenaed they would have to produce the recorded conversation.

I think purl got arrested yesterday when she went up to the guys at scottrade asking for her shares. when they weren't given to her she pulled out her whip

They are covering their asses, no reason why we shouldn't. Brokers allowing buys but not sells or vice versa is blatant disregard for the market, IMO. It threatens the integrity of the entire market.

Yeah cruz....they told me that yestrday and again today.....However....they stated today selling them was at my own risk and they froze my funds!
Now I'm losing money on other trades I don't get to make......the keys on my keyboard should be exploding right now....

Thats utter BS!!! You should go to the top guy at the brokerage with that complaint, and if they don't let you trade, go to the SEC. Remember, these are your shares, YOU own them.

But brokers allowing sales, and not buys, well thats just jacked up. Thats market manipulation.

I sent an email to Ameritrade asking them to explain why they are allowing sells but not buys. Lets see what they say. Probably some boilerplate BS answer. I'm keeping all of their emails.

no. local guy here kept re-quoting yesterday's position. So I called corporate and got a lady who read from a new memo, saying they do expect delivery, but whether it be on the actual due bill date, tomorrow, she couldn't say.
