I too was taught as a child, in a deeply religious Christian family that forgivness was all important and that "we" were not sanctioned by the God we worshiped to judge other's sins, failings, and limitations.
Something about "turning the other cheek", wasn't it? Now, where did that saying come from....let me think.......?

Studies have shown that homophobic bigots (like DWE and Michael Savage) who rant the loudest are those who are themselves harboring feelings of homosexuality -- and doing their best to deny it.

What do you think of a leader such as...hmmm, the great Julius Caesar?

What do you think of a leader such as..... William Shatner when he was Captain James T. Kirk of the U.S.S. Enterprise? And how do you feel about his First Officer, Mr. Spock?

Well, DWE...my question had meaning behind it...
It was a real person, rather than a character...
And it is often rumored that many important historical figures (who same hail as the greatest leaders ever may have been bisexual or gay, as was normal for the time)
So, I wanted a view...and then say that...but since you wish to bring up some random television/movie production, I give up

I honestly don't have much to say about Mr. Caesar now that you claim that he might have been bisexual or gay. It's NOT normal ANYTIME. I can relate to the British and their their practice of incest with each other more than I can relate to someone who is rumored to be gay. Let's here it.....

Yes, but it's not just Caesar... it was the common practice of the people of that time... the whole idea of "same sex attractedness" has been around since there were people... NOW, I'm not saying that this attractedness has to go beyond choosing friends based upon physical appearance... but, sometimes it does (resulting in bisexual/homosexual relations)... It's unnatural to ban natural tendencies...
In an extreme, it'd be like saying that you could only choose friends if they had bags over their heads...
All I'm saying is... Great leaders of the past (recent and ancient) may have lived much different lives than you think... and you should know that if you did, do, or plan to tout them as great leaders... I, myself, recognize Caesar's outstanding leadership ability (as well as many other leaders of his time)
It's just interesting, isn't it?

Being a homo and practicing incest are 2 horrible things but they're NOT equal. That's why I can relate to the British and their practice of incest much more than I can relate to Jim banging Bob.

DWE, do you even know what incest is? And since you are a Christian, are you aware of what Levetical law says about it?

Does our cuttent dumbass even know that homosexuality and incest don't have the same definitions from society to society and culture to culture? Hell, In our own time and our own country, what may be legally punishable or restricted incest in one state is common practice in another.
Hmmm? Maybe I shouldn't let on about the legal status of incest. Don't want to point out another fake issue that the Party can use to trap the idiot fringe christian's vote.

I have a theory that DWE is actually a gay liberal Democrat, posing as a mentally handicapped fundamentalist right-wing bigot in an attempt to make the Republicans look bad.
If so, he's doing a heck of a job!
Mission accomplished, DWE!

But Clinton was such a pansy that he allowed the GOP to hound him. GW Bush on the other hand, don't take no crap from anyone, just like Pat Robertson.
