I'm a total rookie to this stuff. But I was smart enough to find this website.

You made a good arguement for bcnd eddy. I've read everything I could about it. Including the years worth of posts on this board.
It seems to me everything that was talked about last year, is begining to happen now. pending press release...

The things they are planning now. Future properties they are buying. More Natural gas wells. More Coal. more Timber. That not only shows the profit that the company has made in the 4th and 1st quarters. Again, pending press release... But these moves show they are planning on growing bigger. Possibly much much bigger.

I think 2 or 3 years down the road, when all these moves are complete. The gas wells pumping in the $$$$. More gas wells being drilled. Coal being dug every day $$$$$. More coal properties bought. Timber by the square mile. Property bought at desperate, bankruptcy prices. Recycled for a proffit. Rebuilt, and resold for a proffit.

All these sound like money makers to me. They are going to make a fortune as this economy comes back around. Buy now, and hold for a few years. And you might pay for the kids college, for the price of a good night out on the town. LOL... One can dream.

Actually. Like I said. I'm a rookie. So dont take my optimism too seriously. Do your own homework.

Site Visit Update:
I spent the day touring the Glass Factory with a business manager consultant, Sue, who Adam put me in touch with. We toured the site for about an hour, taking numerous photos along the way. Very cool, old facility. Thanks Sue.
She said Adam is in Florida with the folks from RR&R. According to her the asbestos issue is holding things up. RR&R is looking at different vendors and hopes to have a company in place with permits to begin removing asbestos in the next 4-6 weeks. The cost of asbestos removal could be $100k-200k, so they want to be comfortable with the company they settle on to do the work.

I will say, though, I couldn't see anything but bricks, old broken glass and metal walking around the entire site. So I'm not sure where the asbestos is coming from, and she didn't know either. I don't doubt that it's there, because of the age of the building, but I really couldn't find anything to evaluate the scope of the abatement.

Apparently Beacon has received the $1 million initial payment. (Others may have known that, but that was news to me.)

She couldn't tell me anything about the Dominion situation, sorry. She didn't seem to know any details at this point, so we just have to stay tuned. We couldn't actually find the gas wells during the tour -- it's really wooded around the facility and not easy to navigate.

An observation:
That site is going to be a monster to teardown. Don't expect the work to be done quickly.

BCND-radar close at .0002-they could get the permits for the glass factory demolition at any time. they already got 1 million, they are due 5 million more when permits are in place.

Wonder when they plan to cash in on the steel recycling? That seems like the easier job to me. Easier money. But the city wants the building gone ASAP. Must be #1 priority. Get the bricks going , and then hire a steel structure demo crew. CHECK PLEASE!!! x2.

Also wonder what ever came of the other properties they were trying to acquire? That news will speak volumes about this company, and the direction they are headed...

Gas wells, Coal and timber property. all yet to come.

I got my shares at .0001. And I'm in this one for the long haul. I just love the idea of multiple streams of income. And making money 3+ different ways with each property purchase.
Buy at bankruptcy auction price, Demo/recycling, gas, coal, timber, construction of new building, and finally resale. Thats 7 different ways they are going to make money with this glass factory property.

Thats why I am wondering when the new property acquiaitions are going to happen. It will be a good test to see how fast BCND can flip a factory, and how many projects they can handle at one time. Growth is a must, and proffit will be big, if more properties are bought before the glass factory is finished.

Just some food for thought.

still think this thing is flirting with .0003 soon. Asbestos news. money came in, demo started, permit recieved, news on property acqusitions, gas wells/coal news. Any of these PRs will get us to .0003 IMO. And any of them could happen any day. After all. It is almost May.

The hope is that we can churn through the 2's, and move beyond, with a few good PRs in a row. Starting with the big chunk of money coming soon($5 million in bricks i think), which should bounce us to .0003, where we stall slightly, while we eat up the flippers. After the asbestos is removed. we should be stable at .0003. As soon as asbestos is gone, work starts... A few good PRs, and we are .001+

My hope. Is that next fall, they announce the acqusition of the two OTHER properties, they have their eyes on. If I remember right, they too have natural gas, timber, and coal on them.

At this point. Speculation of the two NEW properties. Along with the development of the natural gas wells, and coal mines. All of which combined will be in the multi millions in proffit. 5 million a year from coal. $15,000/day from natural gas. Big Timber paycheck. couple million in steel recycling....Anyways. I think we should be able to hold .002+- through the winter. Next year at this time. 3 properties projects going (possibly). Gas wells, and coal production starting. Construction and resale of a portion of first property possibly.

All this is being done by a half dozen people or so. A CEO. Accountant. Realestate/marketer. And a couple lawyers....

At .0002. I'd say you are getting in at ground level of pretty proffitable business. Small overhead, and big potential. This company is going to grow, and develope into a great money maker in the next couple years. I'm holding all the way...

But you do your own homework. I'm not in control of what goes on out there.

There is a city council meeting tonight. Going to be some news. Good or bad. There will be news. I fully expect a solid report back. Simply put. They bought the property from a person who ignored anual letters from the city council. About demo of the glass factory.
This year. That letter ended up on BCND CEO's desk. And he asked for a city council meeting , to show they all have the same goals. That being clean up, and demo. Along with rebuild.

And just so you know. Some people must've got nervous. Because it dropped to .0001 today. Along with a .0001 ask currently.

IMO. This is a sweet lotto pick.

Nice news with no particulars in it, but BCND is alive again. Turned over about 1/6 of the O/S in less than 3 hours but now things have dried up as the volume slows. Almost cut through all the 2's but not quite. Guess we wait and watch for the next move.

This thing just went belly up tuesday when the CEO didnt show up for the meeting. Instead he sent some lawyer he never met. Only talked to over the phone. Lawyer was not prepared. And the city was pissed.

I put my sell order in at .0002 then.
Got in at .0001. So its all good.

Got home today and sure enough. BIG NEWS!!! lol Big enough to sell my shares at .0002. But not big enough to close at .0002. hmmmmm

Almost 650 MILLION!!! Volume. And this thing doesnt even close at .0002??? hmmmmm

I personally had a few red flags on this company to begin with. First. They bought the property for 42 or 47 grand. And yet, there are suposedly millions in recycled bricks and steel. Natural gas wells, and coal. and timber. That seems like a deal too good to be true.
I've learned that when things are too good to be true. They usually arent true.

But here in the wild west of pennyland. Anythings possible I guess. i love the idea of profiting from 1 property acqusition, 5 or 6 different ways. Thats smart. Buy bankrupt property. recycle bricks, and steel. Pump natural gas, and dig coal. Cut down good timber. Redevelope the property, and sell retail....

But when you got a scumbag who cant even go to a city meeting, and face the problems. Instead sending letters threatening bankruptcy if the city cause problems. And an un-prepared lawyer who he never met... Well. Thats not good.

My guess is that the jig is up. And this was a last ditch effort to dump some shares. About 650,000,000 of them. lol

My advise. find a better stock to invest in. Who knows what these jokers are up to.

Or maybe the buy out is legit, and you might get paid for gambling. I guess i dont know. All i do know is that yesterday there wasnt even an ask at .0001. And it didnt look like anything was going to change.

Hey eddy. I like the buy out news. But MAN! It sure feels like I'm getting stroked here. That city council meeting was sketchy. And now a buy out out of nowhere?

I am kinda regretting selling all but 40,000 shares. (a whole 4$ worth...8$ now lol). In case this bugger ends up coming back to life for real. But then again. I cant complain about a sweet double.

I'm a little torn if you cant tell.

I don't think you can buy them at that price.. at least on Scottrade it won't let me because someone would have to sell them for 0.00009 (or less) which is five digits past the decimal. Scottrade wouldn't even let me put in a bid for 0.00015 so I had to buy them at 0.0002. If the buy-out works in shareholder favor I think the difference is going to be minimal over the long run. Just my opinion of course.. but I hope it helps.

Summary DD:

-- BCND has a majority buyer per news last month and the completion news is still pending (per PR upon completion of transaction, new management will step in -- note: 6/15/09 new President came on board)

-- estimated 2.5M tons of coal reserves which are worth $120M (currently $48 per ton)

-- natural gas in Westmoreland alone is potentially worth $5.6m per year (4 mmcf per day per PR); natural gas also exists in West Virginia property

-- salvage value of their glass factory in Westmoreland is $6.3m and so far they've received $1M deposit

-- they're marketing logging rights for their landholdings in West Virginia

-- they own around 260(?) acres of land with future development once they get rid of that glass factory and timber

-- has 3 subsidiaries including Beacon Energy Corporation which owns the natural gas rights

-- if you look at just the natural gas from 1 of 2 sites alone, coal reserves and salvage value of glass factory, that's already .044 in asset value excluding the land, future development, logging rights etc

-- plus pending settlement from NYSE:D Dominion Resources for 22 years of use of BCND Westmoreland property for gas storage and gas well that could bring a LARGE capital infusion to the company

-- The total shares outstanding for this company as of 6-12-2009 were 2,978,734,000 shares outstanding with 2,638,712,884 shares free trading and 340,021,116 shares restricted with 3,000,000,000 shares authorized.
