Fight Network Programming to Be Available to More Than 20 Million U.S. Homes via America One Sports Monday March 5, 8:00 am ET
TORONTO and NEW YORK, NY--(MARKET WIRE)--Mar 5, 2007 -- Blackout Media Corp. (Other OTC:BKMP.PK - News) -- The Fight Network, which is North America's first and only all combatant sports and entertainment channel, has signed a two-year contract to supply America One Sports with television programming. ADVERTISEMENT
The initial programming package covers mixed martial arts -- which is the fastest growing sector of combatant sports, which will be closed captioned for the hearing impaired. A total of 26 hours of mixed martial arts will be carried during the agreement's initial phase.
Brokered by Trajectory Sports & Media Group, LLC, this agreement represents the first major U.S. market television programming deal for Canadian-based The Fight Network.
"Being able to showcase our programming via America One Sports will enable our fight fans to get a taste of what is in store for them with our network," stated Mike Garrow, President of The Fight Network. "This is just another way our fans in the United States will get to see us."
America One Sports is part of the America One Television Network, a general entertainment network serving more than 170 broadcast affiliates that access over 20 million TV households across the United States.
"Men 18 to 25 are watching mixed martial arts in record numbers," said Preston Bornman, America One's executive vice president. "Fight's mixed martial arts content will help us build a closer bond with this key demographic, and will complement our boxing, motocross and extreme sports offerings."
The current sports distribution line-up for Texas-based America One Sports includes the Canadian Football League, FIM Motocross, England's Charlton Athletic Club soccer, ECHL Hockey, weekly boxing, auto racing, extreme sports and official weekly highlights programs from ATP Tennis and FIBA Basketball.

well folks and fighters im liking the news would have liked to see a little more buying pressure but that will come in due time. as for tfn/bkmp just keep doing your thing it seems like this is actually going to go global and global means big $$$ and huge revenue. so once the expansion is done we have a few options that will most likely take place 1. a buyout 2. profit sharing with bkmp 3. a merger with another company. all seem pretty good in my eyes. never underestimate the ability for a pinky to work you and work you good though so if you have litmited cash be careful. i beleive fully but i can afford to take a total loss if that was the case. i say to you fighters be strong be long and dont give the market makers your shares too cheap. we are in for a big run when this picks up momentum.

The Fight Network’s Toronto headquarters are bustling this afternoon, as it culls together the latest in MMA, boxing, pro wrestling, and kickboxing news. You might have noticed our home page’s video addition, which now includes free viewings of our popular original half hour TV shows “Before The Bell” and “After The Bell.” Check out our UFC 68 additions taped on location in Columbus, Ohio.
• The International Fight League unveils a preview show tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT/MT on MyNetworkTV. “Countdown To Battleground” offers a sneak peak of the weekly series “IFL Battleground,” debuting Monday in its regular8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT/MT slot. The series will be hosted by the venerable Bas Rutten and Playboy Playmate of the Year Tiffany Fallon.
• Our European correspondent Stash Capar reports that Jerome LeBanner has renewed his contract with K-1, but with a few modifications in the wake of what has been the greatest push ever for MMA. Could the French striker be heading to a cage near you?
• UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture made it onto ESPN’s “Hot List” yesterday, which can be viewed here.
The living legend is on his way to New York City at this moment for a host of appearances, including one with a morning talk show to be named shortly.
•Our UK reporter Jim Burman reports that undefeated striker Terry Etim here has been added to April 21’s UFC 70 “Nations Collide” at the MEN Arena in Manchester, England. An opponent for the Liverpool native has yet to be announced.

ok my post got erased somehow while posting. i hope i make this clear. bkmp owns a 20% stake in blackout communications. blackout communications owns 100% of tfn(the fightnetwork). so in essense bkmp or us shareholders own 20% of tfn. i hope that made sense. you should go to ihub and also read all the posts on this thread before making an informed descision. i persanally am all in averaged in a little high at .0006 but i am still feeling good about this investment. i am not a flipper i am in this for the long haul and hope the ceo does us right. i own alot for my income level 34 million shares and would love to pick up more if the chance or money becomes available. do you dd before buying and best of luck to you and all others thinking of investing in the exploding world of mixed martial arts.

well yes we would have all liked to invest in blackout communications and or directly in tfn but right now bkmp is the only way to get a piece of tfn so that is why we are all in bkmp. comprende?
