$1? US...Dude...are you going to start shouting "TO DA MOON"?
Flip it and play the stock...
flip it until it hits 1$(several weeks from now..if at all) but don't have the PPS be at .18-.20 and say $1 soon...
that's a bit far fetched for a pink...

What happened at the end today was 2 Locusts starting buying big lots at .18 and kicked it up to close at .20

Had the market been open another 30 minutes it would have dropped right back to .18, that wasn't buying pressure it was one or two people trying to paint the close. Which they were able to do.

But I don't see what's going to hold it up tommorrow, it's obvious the MM's want this back down. The company has to come out with some big news to sustain this run beyond .20, these Locusts aren't going to be able to keep this up forever.

Absolutely correct. It's pure speculation at this point, this sounds very familiar, anyone remember QOIL? Ran from .10 to .80, now at .02 or so.

I think GLXI will have another big run, but this news was technically 'better' than Tuesday's and this run stalled before it ever reached .30

Some are claiming on Ibub that the PR is not fully out yet on the newswires, too late for today though. 95% of the traders watching this know about today's PR.

If nothing comes out tomorrow I see a red Friday, again I do think this will run hard at some point, but I'm calling a close today of .25 with a drop off tommorrow and a red close.

Globex, Inc. Announces Significant Concentrations of Uranium from Geologic Report on Grenville Claims

Friday , February 23, 2007 08:30ET

NEW YORK, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Globex, Inc. (GLXI: Pink Sheets), today announced key technical details from the Geologic Report that was published yesterday on 94 of the Company's uranium claims situated in Grenville, Quebec, Canada. This announcement is in response to the considerable number of shareholder demands for a simplified and more understandable version that summarizes the major findings of the Geologic Report. The simplified Geologic Report statement is as follows:

1) The results indicated a possible 544,000 tons in reserves in 2 areas
on our claims.

2) In zone 1, results from samples indicated a Uranium value ranging
from 0.005 to 0.197%U308. In zone 2, the samples demonstrated a
Uranium concentration of 1.4%U308.

3) These claims are located in the historic geologic area of
"Greenville" South West Quebec, specifically in sector 31 J.

Management expects to publish additional geologic reports soon that are based on its previously acquired 326 Uranium Mining Claims in Northern Quebec, Canada.

Globex also announced that it will launch its corporate website at approximately 12:00 pm EST today. Shareholders may access the website at: www.umining.com. Management stated: "We hope our site will assist in providing more information to our shareholders, and our staff will endeavor to respond to every email inquiry that we will receive in the next couple of days."

The Company will continue to operate under the name "Globex Energy, Inc." until it receives formal approval for its name change to "U Mining Resources Inc." and a new CUSIP number from the relevant Governing authorities. Any similarities with the names of other Mining companies that contain the word "Globex" is purely coincidental and the said companies are not in any way linked to Globex Energy, Inc.'s activities.

Uranium Keeps Booming
By Keith Kohl

Baltimore, MD - After uranium's record price jump this week, it looks like $100 per pound will come sooner than anticipated. And if you haven't established yourself in this bullish trend, you may want to reconsider your position.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road . . .

The spot price for uranium oxide gained $10 this week, reaching up to $85 per pound. This record increase was spurred by consistent supply shortfalls. The world's roughly 440 nuclear reactors need well over 150 million pounds of uranium every year.

So how much uranium do we currently produce?

Only about 100 million pounds. And the stockpile of uranium collected from disassembled nuclear weapons is declining fast.

To say the least, uranium is currently in a huge bull market - the price soared more than 800% over the last in four years!

The burgeoning nuclear industry has contributed to the tight supplies. And the emerging global energy crisis has thrown nuclear energy into the spotlight. While a few alternative energy sources are making headway, future global demand will require energy on a vast scale - something nuclear power can provide.

Consider these facts from the World Nuclear Association Symposium in 2001:

· 1 kg of firewood equals about 1 kWh of electricity

· 1 kg of coal or oil equals roughly 3 or 4 kWh of electricity.

· But 1 kg of natural uranium equals nearly 50,000 kWh of electricity!

Yet the spread of nuclear technology hasn't been the only factor in boosting uranium's price.

Government Document Confirms the Worst
According to the Government's own words...

"...we are entering an age of uncertainty and insecurity unlike any other..." that will "have a devastating effect on the economy and our way of life in the United States."

However, some think it's the greatest investment opportunity of the century... which is why four billionaires have invested hundreds of millions of dollars to find the solution.
---------------------------------------------------------------Flooding Profits

Natural disasters are never a laughing matter, especially when the devastating impact is widely felt.

But they're much easier to cope with when they give you unprecedented financial gains.

Losing the world's largest undeveloped high-grade uranium project dealt a huge blow to uranium production. Before it flooded, Cameco's Cigar Lake operation was expected to produce about 18 million pounds of uranium annually. The mine would have supplied more than 10% of the world's current uranium demand.

Yet the flood in October makes for a shaky future. There is a possibility that the mine will be lost altogether. Next month, Cameco will release an updated report assessing the situation at Cigar Lake.

Even the best-case scenario would mean postponing production until 2008.

Play with the Big Boys

So it's too late to profit from this bull, right?

Trust me, that couldn't be further from the truth.

The Middle East may know about oil, but when it comes to uranium, the only choices for investment are either Canada or Australia. Together, those two make up roughly 45% of the world's uranium production.

And with such a shortfall in supply, the chances for tiny exploration companies to post tenfold profits are excellent.

One of the best parts of Australia's uranium boom is that China is drooling over the huge Aussie reserves. The land down under is set to supply the Chinese with 2,500 metric tons of uranium every year to fuel their nuclear program. But this isn't even a third of the Chinese demand!

Trust me, as the spot price for uranium approaches the $100 per pound mark, Australia's mining companies will explode. Uranium's growth has spurred the government to reconsider its policy of "no new uranium mines."

But whenever you look at the future of uranium, you'll always end up in Canada, which holds roughly 15% of global uranium reserves and is the world's leading producer.

So the opportunity to cash in is still there for the taking, since some of these tiny companies are virtually unknown. And the truth is that the vast wealth of natural resources in Canada provides smaller companies with the chance of tremendous growth.

Globex, Inc. Announces Discovery of Uranium Deposits in Chioak Formation near Tasjujaq, Northern Quebec
Mar 2, 2007 9:45:00 AM
NEW YORK, March 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Globex, Inc. (GLXI: Pink Sheets), today announced that its project team # 2, currently working in the Lake Cliff area near the town of Tasjujaq in Northern Quebec, has discovered several radioactive outcrops in an arkosic conglomerate on a surface of 1060 meters by 500 meters near Lake Cliff. The presence of Uranium concentration in sedimentary stratification are indicating 0.22% U308 through 7 trenches measuring 7 meters in length and surveys from 12 more trenches indicating 0.50% U308.

Management stated: "We were confident that we would uncover something in this area based on the information contained in the available historical geologic reports, but we did not expect it to be this significant. We still have a vast territory to explore in this Northern Quebec region and we intend to complete the field surveys within the next 20 days at which point we will assess the financial value of the area's proven reserves. In addition, our first project team is reporting that the drilling program in the southwest area is proceeding well."

The Company also announced that is pursuing the initial development of an alternative bioethanol technology based on recent positive results from its 90-day beta testing program. Management has retained the services of a specialized law firm to structure the basis of a licensing distribution contract concerning the commercialization of its proprietary bioethanol production systems in the US, Canada and South America.

Company Valuation Comparison: Uranium Energy Corp: URME – OTCBB

Been looking at URME, for comparison purposes with GLXI. Have not gone into a lot of detail but many key points seem comparable.

If you check out the chart it has had a crazy year, Current share price $8.50 [Smile]

• Started trading on OTCBB in February 2006.
• Fully reporting (but so will GLXI be soon).
• Similar share structure, but larger float than GLXI.
Authorized: 750,000,000 shares
Outstanding: 28,327,338 shares
Float: Less than 10 million (from a poster on URME Board)
• URME production will not start until 2009. GLXI much sooner.
• URME has 12.9 million pounds of historic uranium resource. May have more once their surveys are completed.

Keep URME in mind for when we find out more about GLXI’s probable reserves of uranium, when the full geological report is published. We cannot really assess the true potential value of GLXI until this info becomes available (+ potential of biofuels/ ethanol side of our business needs to be factored in of course:)

Extract from their website:

“UEC has acquired over 19,000 acres of property in six US states, containing 12.9 million pounds of historic uranium resources, with potential targets of 30.5 million pounds in additional resources being identified by the Company’s exploration databases. The Company’s foundation asset, located in Goliad County, Texas, has 5.2 million pounds of historically drill-indicated ISR-amenable uranium resources. This historical resource demonstrates potential to increase to over 15 million pounds. Development drilling and ISL mine permitting are ongoing with a view to commencement of ISR uranium production in 2009.”

GLTA

So they don't even have uranium yet.. just an uplisting to the OTCBB.

They are at $8.50.. no uranium yet, bigger float, less in reserves.. do the math.. I'm not even watching this crap. LOL

From URME PR.. no proof even!

"The Company's foundation asset, located in Goliad County, Texas, has 5.2 million pounds of historic and ISL-amenable (In Situ Leaching) uranium resource with potential targets of 10 million pounds in additional resources. Planning for the first phase of confirmation drilling and ISL permitting is underway."

confirmation drilling? you don't even know it's real? please... we'll be over $5 soon enough for me.. I'm getting more powder.. this is insane. Uplist this B please!!!!

Thanks for posting that dog. I've been watching URME a lot the last few days, and I appreciate having the comparison without having to dig for it (with all the weddings and birthdays going on this week, I am surprised I am even getting to read! LOL)
