Leslie called back about 10 minutes later.
I don't think there is much new I can add, but just more reassurance is the best way I can sum our conversation up.
She hopes to have the number for shareholders to call very soon. She said she was promised this on Friday...that they would have a number posted, either in a PR or for her to relay to whoever calls. As of 10am today, it was not set up yet. She believes it will be a lawyer or lawyers answering the phone to answer any questions.
3 or 4 lawyers are still working on everything, trying to get things in order, and update us as soon as they can. No definitive answer if the AF's will be released, but she stated again she knows they were done, and its probably up to the lawyers to release them now, they have everything in their possesion.
I explained the main upset was the promises that were made to release the financials, with the "date certain" PR and all...and was never followed through. She did understand that and stated that was a very big mistake, making dates they couldnt keep.
Reiterated again, that she, Petar nor anyone for that matter, is not running, they have done nothing wrong and have nothing to hide. She hopes to be able to get back to her job soon.
She apologized for not getting back to me sooner...which I can totally understand. Tomorrow she is out in the morning and will be back in the office after 11am....I can call her then. If she hears anything between now and then, she has my number and said she would call.
Not much more like I said...but thats pretty much all she has to offer at this time.
In my own opinion, I feel we will see things more clear soon, and in more or less a positive way.
Hang in there...

Nov 29, 2006 09:15:26 (ET)
WINDSOR, ON, Nov 29, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Sulja Bros. Building Supplies Ltd. (PINKSHEETS: SLJB) today is responding to recent events and shareholder concerns. What follows is a statement from the CEO of SLJB, Mr. Steve Sulja and the current management team now set in place to carry on with the vision of the corporation:
As previously set forth for public scrutiny, this company is currently forwarding all relevant documents and authorizations for streamlined distribution of pertinent public information to our accountants and attorneys, who will serve as the sole source of information deemed necessary and completely accurate for the public. The Officers and Directors of SLJB want to express their steadfast alliance with the vision and goals of its former CEO and vow to continue in the same light to achieve these objectives in the near future and in the long-run of our operations. Basically, SLJB is aimed still toward new levels of shareholder value and a presence on broader, more prominent exchanges, goals directly relayed from former CEO Petar Vucicevich and taken on as both solid business objectives and as support for the former company leader.
SLJB Management also re-stated that the current onslaught of negative press and its deleterious effects on every aspect of our day-to-day business and, we believe, the injurious downturn on our current share-price is nothing more than pointed sensationalism and an unprovoked tirade serving none but the names of those who would set them forth.
As ever, Petar Vucicevich has ensured the Company that he stands behind SLJB to lend support and guidance for the new team and the Company. His purpose is to promote a smooth transition for the newly inundated management team and to ensure the continued success of the Company, both publicly and internally.
The Company believes that in five short months, an operation has been built that anyone would be proud of, something for our children to know that our team helped to build, and no one here feels at all different, despite the poorly organized drivel of envious onlookers. These onlookers will become even more diffused as the public observes how stringently the Company adheres to upcoming stricter guidelines and compliance issues set forth on the Pink Sheets and larger exchanges in the near future. We will exceed the minimum requirements of these regulations.
In conclusion, the Company announced that it has secured a position at a globally renowned exposition, and to date they are in fact the only North American delegate attending: Project Lebanon 2007 will be held 2/27-3/3 2007 at the Beirut International Exhibition and Leisure Center. This expo represents a market that expects to exceed $3 billion over the next three years. SLJB has positioned itself to garner as much of that market share as is possible. The expo coincides with the Company's completion of all of the service requirements and licensing procedures to open an office in the country operating as SLJB and subsequent offices in the region that will also conduct business under the SLJB title, a move that will make transparent the true ownership and management of the Company's operations overseas.

I like the fact that they are not backing down in any way, shape or form from what they have said in the past.

Actually, I don't like the PR at all and sold at .027 Let me tell you how I read it. They're still side stepping the AF's. In fact, they don't mention it once. However, they bash the bashers (investors) and talk about Petar's continued support and involvement. At this point I tend to believe the posts awhile back that had Petar swindling the Sulja's out of the business as well as Sams Building Ctr. I don't trust any of it and this PR just kicks the bees nest. Like the rest of you here, I'm in it for the money, but after this attack, once again, against the very investors that they have lied to and ticked off, I'm out for good and won't buy back out of principal, I hope they go under, but good luck to all of you.

This is one of the heaviest traded stocks on any exchange. Ans it's a pink to boot! That alone makes it a prime target for MM manipulation, naked shorting, etc. A red flag if there ever was one. Like, hellooooo. My suspicions kept me from buying and I'm glad to say I didn't lose one red cent. If it drops to sub-penny I might jump in. My sympathies to those who got in over a dime.

Unable to knock out budget issues, legendary Kronk closes doors
Nov. 29, 2006 CBS SportsLine.com wire reports
DETROIT -- The Kronk Gym, the dingy basement that helped produced world boxing champions Evander Holyfield and Oscar De La Hoya, has closed. Advertisement
Champions Thomas Hearns and Lennox Lewis also trained at Emanuel Steward's gym, which had been struggling after thieves stole copper pipes in September, cutting off its water supply.
Steward had been paying to keep the Kronk running for months after Detroit shut down the recreation center that houses it because of a budget shortfall.
The cost of fixing the plumbing and making other major repairs led officials to decide to make the gym's shutdown permanent, said the Recreation Department's deputy director, Lawrence Hemingway.
"It's the oldest rec center in the city. It has lived a useful life," he told the Detroit Free Press in Wednesday's edition.
Some of the world champions tutored by Steward at the gym included Dennis Andries, Alexis Arguello, Julio Cesar Chavez, Jeff Fenech, Oliver McCall, Gerald McClellan, Milton McCrory, Welcome N'cita, Aaron Pryor, Graciano Rocchigiani, Leon Spinks, Duane Thomas, and Vitali Klitschko. AP NEWS
