RushNet, Inc. Nets Great Opportunities At Expo Japan

PrintE-mailDisable live quotesRSSDigg itDel.icio.usLast Update: 11:50 AM ET Sep 28, 2006

BLUE ISLAND, Ill., Sep 28, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- RushNet, Inc. (Pink Sheets:RSHN) exhibited at Expo Japan last weekend with the solid results that were anticipated. Held at Tokyo's Big Sight Convention Center, Japan's premier trade show facility, the 12,000 attendees at Expo Japan were Buyers and key personnel from Supermarkets, Convenience Stores, and Wholesale Distributors from throughout the Pacific Rim. For those seeking the future of beverages, e-water(TM) was the talk of the show.
RushNet made strong contact with numerous major Wholesalers, and Grocery and Convenience Store Chains who directly sought out its products from the advance promotion done by Gen 2 Marketing, RushNet's ally in the Japanese market. By far, the buzz of the show was RushNet's e-water(TM). Show attendees were much impressed with the concept of e-water(TM) and many were especially taken with its design. Some commented that it looked better than FIJI(TM) water. The Japanese beverage market, even more than in the U.S., is shifting into a rapidly expanding water category. The abundant nourishment of active ionic electrolytes in e-water(TM) easily made it the Expo's top item among all the beverages available. The timing for e-water(TM) in Asia could not be better.
Dr. Henry Meissner from Australia, who was hired to represent a major Japanese Wholesaler, directly queried Robert Corr, President of RushNet, on the details of e-water(TM). He was then quoted as saying, "e-water(TM) is the hottest product at this show and I will be recommending it to my Principal for purchase."
The large Retailers like Watson's, a Hong Kong-based Chain with over 1,000 stores in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia, also showed a great deal of interest in RushNet's Ginseng Rush and new Ginseng Rush XXX Energy Drink in cans. Senior buyers from Watson's and Japanese Chains are eager to bring these to market, once the governmental approval process is complete.
RushNet, Inc. has already commenced its process for securing e-water's approval in Japan and is presently working with Sogo Clinical Pharmacology Ltd., based in Tokyo, to assist in the approval process. While RushNet concedes that the process is arduous and time consuming, Sogo's guidance will enable e-water(TM) to move more quickly to an approved status.
Robert Corr said: "I mentioned in an earlier press release about the market potential for RushNet in Japan, but those expectations are now dwarfed by the feed back I have received and the genuine enthusiasm I witnessed by attending this show. The bonanza of marketing opportunities for e-water(TM), our new Ginseng Energy Drink and American Ginseng based soft drinks are far more than I had imagined. With over 10,000 retailers just in Tokyo, and vending machines on every corner, I am even more confident that we will be able to develop a significant amount of business in Japan alone. I sat with Importers, Wholesalers and Retailers in Tokyo and we worked through the margins everyone wants to make on top of our selling price plus shipping costs, and RushNet will be making a significant return on its investment for all e-water(TM) product sold there, based on those conversations. With Japan being the gateway and cornerstone of the Asian market, approval of our products will surely launch RushNet into a whole new magnitude, both for us and our investors."
RushNet is presently responding to all show inquiries. The marketing feedback from the show is refining the promotional support programs for e-water(TM) to optimize market placements once the approval process is completed.

With some attention to this PR and RSHN if we could get volume we could go places with the anticipation this will cause. There is no excuse for the MM's to keep it down as this should start a steady increase untill a contract or deal is struck.

How long will this take:

once the governmental approval process is complete.

Has anyone called and asked if this is already in process.....This could be a long procedure..

O.K. I need to get some more money freed. We will drop some more I am afraid as we are once again looking at months of work to get it into Japan. ....sigh...... But as a long, that will work, but sure is going to get ugly until then.

Unless of course they close the US brewery deal, move a lot larger amount of product in the US. That will perhaps move us back to 30's for a new plateau.

Back to hiding and watching.

Why did they not get Gov. aprroval before the Expo??

This seems like a big mistake if what the PR says is true...Sounds like they may have stores interested, but that will not last long if you have to call them back 3 months later

YYYYAAAAAWWWNNNN!!!!!!!

when will there be something that isn't 100% fluff crap. I am still holding this thing but am doubtful if any of the crap they spew will ever come to fruitition. Maybe this company is nothing more than a writeoff and they really don't want it to turn a profit.

Wow, I think a monkey paired up with a donkey could have sold more product by know.

What other company in the world would turn down a huge dollar deal like Robbie's to focus on somthing way down the road. Why not make some money now to get something happening.

I really am starting to think management are retarded at RSHN.

Nice artwork. My daughter loved them and said she would like to try them. She loved that they were 100% juice and not just 10%. Another winner product to sell........ if they can get it to stores is the problem as always.

Also, noted the "organic" label. Remember that they were trying to get the brewery certified as organic. Wonder if this hints that the brewery deal is still alive and moving close to being certified and sold.

With packaging like that, there is no reason this stuff should not be flying off the shelf.
( Oh, I forgot... it is not on the shelf yet! )

I have no doubt that Bob can make good tasting drinks, and I have no doubt the public will love it. My concerns are with the management capabilities to actually move the business forward. I hope this is where Lynch steps in and steps up.

I am in Long and just like all the other longs do not expect it (the PPS) to jump over night, but I am getting a little tired of the only movement in the wrong direction.

We have more now than we had when this stock hit a penny. Group play? Pump and Dump? Quite possible that it was! None the less, it is a real company with real product and should be doing something wonderful in the near future.

I hope you all forgive me for the long post.

Morning everyone. Should be an interesting day. Opening ask are a tick higher, but won't last. The MM's are back at work now and want to build the volume up again. Hang on for the ride is all we can do. I am trying to shift some money so I can grab some more shares at these prices.

Robbie, you're right as usual. Why isn't this product on the shelf?

Corr needs to move out of the way and let someone who knows what they are doing market this stuff. He needs to stay in the beverage laboratory where he knows what he is doing. I haven't been able to find any of the product in Oklahoma. I know it's not a big market, but I do see other tiny companies getting their products on the shelves. How are they doing it? I bet they spend much more time on the phone, and less time going to these do nothing shows. Where is Lynch? Doesn't he care about his investment.

I just got off the phone with Al. I just reamed him a new ass. Bob was not there. I told him if we did not get some follow up to all the PR's put out! Numbers and a movement towards the OTC.BB that I will be getting all the boards to rally and file suit against them and with the SEC. They have failed to produce a single concluded deal on any PR they have made. This is deception and against the law. I told him they better address all these concerns by Monday or they better be read to go to court.
