SLJB NEWS: Reiterates That Marquee Asset Management Is the Investor Relations Firm
WINDSOR, ON -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 08/31/06 -- A Sulja Bros. Building Supplies, Ltd. (PINKSHEETS: SLJB) spokesperson reiterated today that Marquee Asset Management is the Investor Relations Firm and phone calls should be directed to them.
CEO Steve Sulja stated: "We have been receiving over 50 calls a day from investors at our shops and Headquarters. Currently we are in the process of working on a lot of contracts some being still open, some are in the closing stage, some are being finalized. For those who try and circumvent the system, I clearly state that constant calls to our offices will yield no 'inside' information. Please use the investor relations system that is set up for you. We use these phones for business purposes. It makes no sense to talk to investors at our shops when we are already using these phones to make sure that our customers can place orders and receive materials."

Makes sense as to why they seemed frustrated at me when I tried to get info from the office. LOL Guess I'll leave them alone. Accually gives me more confidence. Sounds like a real buisness that has real buisness to do and that they don't want to be bothered by fickle penny traders like me. I rate the PR with an "A" grade. "Shut up and let us make you money" is what I'm hearing! Ima

Imagine if you owned a delivery store and every other phone call was from your wife, sister, uncle, or whoever asking how the new business was going... There are a finite number of phones and when they aren't allowing orders to come in you are losing MONEY.

IMO they could have added about the news conference. That would have made it a lot easier to swallow. I certainly understand them not wanting calls at the plant, BUT the company web site does NOT have an investor link to the Marque web site. That should tell them something. And maybe us as well eh? Took me a long time to learn how to use the intranet but I can sure surf now!

Awwwww, is the investers feelings hurt . They are tying to run a businees and calling them constantly will tie thier lines up for actual business calls. Eventhough a simple automated direction system will reduce the calls that reach the office.

Ok, ive only trolled this board. Nothing much to say i guess. LOL
Anyway, in my opinion thats the FIRST pr from them that actually makes sense AND a clear sign theyre not afraid of us "the shareholders". I hate seeing companies grovle at the feet of the investors when the investors are clearly out of line. Judging by their tone id guess A LOT of people have been calling them, id even guess a portion of those calls were nonnnnnnnsense.
Anyway, i liked it.....it showed strength in my opnion.

I really like this stock. i had chance buy before the merger but I do have something on the table. I really like this stock out look on business and the things they are doing and just hoping for the audit to come back and everything matches up. This stock could really give me a major lift.
This stock ready to break out and I will tell my fellow stock holders that this stock is for real. They been in business since 1987, so this is not some fly by night stock. Jim Cramer look out! Lets go make some money and Jim Cramer I know you look down on penny stocks but this stock is the real deal.

It never ceases to amaze me how some people can go from high on the sljb hog to utter demise in a matter of days. Read back to last week. High energy and exuberance abounding. Except for IMM Now we have doubt from a few days w/o a PR. Come on let this happen! They said audited financials by the middle of sept. and yet the doubt thickens before Sept. 1st. If you are vested in this and feel misled than lead yourself out the door. Its a button away. If they confirm half the hand they showed us already we are home free IMO.

A click away.
And we know this is a long weekend. Which started last Sat. for some. Not just SLJB will suffer a panic pull back between today and tomorrow. The trick is to not confuse it with a down trend in which there is still a gap here. Ride it out or get out and try and get back in later.

I've never heard of any other company having to put out a pr, specifically to tell investors to let up on the phone calls.
Did it ever occur to them that if they filled in some of the holes they've left, that maybe we would all have no desire or need to call.....No, of course they didn't think of that, why would they think that, why would we want more then just their word for it????????
After all, many of the investors are just putting their hard earned money into their company, how dare us, wanting to know more.
Maybe they should drop one major pr, with all the frequently asked questions, and the answers to go along with them, providing they can back them up that is.
