Check this out!!! Website Active till 2007!!! So merger must request that all operations of Arete stop. Ill bet the merger will happen immediately once announced and then everything will be finished within a week of announcement (ie name change, symbol change, etc.) This could move really really fast!!!! Cant believe that Gamber lied to us! They must really be dropping the ball right now???? ------------

Yes i can explain everyone, in the last PR i do believe he stated that the merger would be completed and announced no later than the middle of July (see below).
"The Company feels like it will be able to complete the final agreement and settle all of its open items by no later than the middle of July 2006."
Somebody is really dropping the ball, hence the phrase. Maybe he is having to much fun in florida with his new fishing buddies!!
I have no problems with this at all but the profit margins i am making from week to week are getting smaller and smaller!!! I dont like that! This has been a fun stock i must say, i hope all have added on dips, i know i have, but im not old and dont have all day to wait for this to happen!! plus im getting tired of looking for the PR everyday accross the wire!
Good luck to all, i figure give him another week or two and then it might happen maybe he meant middle of august!!!!

it's a big gamble... but i'm riding it. might get burned or walk out a big winner. not too much 'in between' for me in my life anyways. currently, the areteindustries.com homepage is down. but the COG SEC filings page is 'under construction'. definitely some changes taking place. as to the good or bad remains to be seen. it's been holding well near current levels, so unless the co. goes completely bankrupt then there should be at least a reasonable exit point if the merger isn't happening. however, if the changes taking place are as a result of the merger, etc., then congrats to longs (and the playmaker in all of us) !!! :-)

I am ready to add once again, this isnt over yet oh phat one, oh no brother. But they (mm's) want me to keep making money thats fine, oviously the initial value of the merger is way above .02(check the first run) so i can see myself adding to my position anywhere between .01 and .016. Still good chance to make a little dime!
Just drop a PR, any PR, and the initial run will net you 25-40% easy happened on last PR(and it said nothing) im not scared, stick to your plans people!!

I wanna do that liberty, but at this point I would like some reassurance.
I feel like I'm just throwing my money to the wind, they need to tell us something, even if to say "it's taking alittle more time", or that everything is still going forward, anything along those lines would have me investing more.
It's the silence that bothers me, but none the less, I'm hanging on.

Who knows when they had an idea about the merger JB . They just got rid of the site recently so that probably indicates, no.
I'm just hoping they come up with something, I don't care if the site's up or if they make a new one,....I just want them to put out what they said and stop dragging their feet.
Look at LFWK now named SLJB, they have followed through with everything they have said so far and produced, I wish ARET would do have as much.

The web site is up but the contact link is bogus. I tried to contact them and the email came back saying 'daemon unknown' in other words, the site is up for show and is disabled......what a bunch of losers.

everyone do what they wish if you choose to call. would be best, imho, if there were more questions posed than the obvious: "so, what's up with the merger?" so that we all can get the most out of any replies posted as a result of any conversation with john and/or gamber. if you have the ability to record the conversation, do so. this way, you won't be sidetracked mentally by taking notes at the same time they're speaking.
i certainly wasn't and am not expecting miracles with this play, but this lack of communication (especially considering their last PR) is becoming quite disconcerting.
