I did a little digging and found a report done at Purdue titled "2005 Indiana Forest Products Price Report and Trend Analysis". I realize the pricing is based on trees in Indiana and uses the US Dollar as currency which I'm not sure how to translate to Africa, but the range on hardwood first grade lumber (FAS) was anywhere between $355 to $2330 per MBF (1000 board feet). This translates to $923 Million to $6.06 Billion worth of lumber the PR stated today - and that was noted as being conservative and only the initial phase of the project.
Things I liked from the PR today are that CEOTA has the "exclusive Brazilian license" and FHAL is the "only referral-based marketing transportation logistics brokerage". As the LOI appears to be between the only two organizations that can pursue this effort as laid out, I like the odds for FHAL.

SC- LOI is just the first step. I will probably buy in tomorrow but this at best is the first step on the road to multiple dollars pps. I'm with you guys and see the potential here, but remember that basically LOI is rumor and 8k is fact.

From 10QSB Mr. Mike Alexander is employed pursuant to a five-year employment agreement that commenced on August 28, 2004. The agreement provides for a base annual a salary of $150,000 per year and a bonus of 20% to 50% per year as determined by the Board of Directors based upon the performance of Furia, and the use of a vehicle. The agreement also provides that the number of shares of Common Stock of Furia shall never be less than sixty percent (60%) of the total issued and outstanding Common Stock at any time. The agreement also provides for his indemnification against any and all claims and demands, including court costs and reasonable attorneys' fees that may arise out of his services to Furia.
Which means IMO 62,192,033 x 60% equals 37,315,220 shares by contract that Mike Alexander owns and since he is an officer of the company they are restricted.
The 2,780,405 shares repurchased by the Company from December 2005 to March 31, 2006 were purchased in open-market transactions.
Which means these 2,780,405 shares are also not in the float.
There are another few hundred thousand shares issued that are restricted that I am not counting in this.
FLOAT EQUALS 62,192,033 authorized -37,315,220 Mike Alexander - 2,780,405 Company Repurchased
22,096,408 Total Float
Thats how it all works out for me, let me know if you figure it any different, but I think its close.

I also like the fact that The Climate Exchange of the Americas, Inc. Also released that pr. Not like when USXP said they had signed a LOI to buy a comp. or have a partnership you could never find anything from the other co.

ajman, is that right about the float only being 22 million? It seems like the way you explained it is right, has anyone confirmed it?

I was in the wholesale lumber industry for about 6 years. The sunken lumber in the Amazon basin has been discussed many times. However, we could never find a way to recover, dry, and mill this wood and make it profitable. It appears that they have. Just remember, this will be very expensive. The $1.5B revenues will in no wise be translated nto profits. Personally, I will keep my eye on who is chosen for the recovery.

Ceota has entered into contract with FHAL, this is HUGE for the stock.. and if it doesn't go up short term I'm not worried as this is one of the few long tem hold out there, once they start recovering these logs and selling them off for lumber earnings will bring this baby up.
CEOTA is a non-profit organization based in Fort Worth, Texas that is focused on the preservation and reforestation of the Amazon basin rainforest in Brazil. The Brazilian rainforest represents about 1/3 of all remaining rainforest in the world and generates over 15% of all oxygen for the planet.
The Amazon River is over 4,000 miles long and discharges 14 times the amount of water as the Mississippi River.
With all the deforestation and clearing of land, this natural ecosystem is being detroyed. CEOTA is making a difference and is working to preserve natural land and to, reforest cleared and harvested areas, as well as, the recovery of abandoned logs in the Amazon River.
Assist CEOTA's efforts by making a donation and subscribing to the CEOTA Email List.
We thank you for your time and assistance with the CEOTA projects.
CEOTA has the exclusive license to recover logs from a 100 mile stretch of the Amazon River in Brazil. Experts have determined through sonar analysis and measured navigational hazards there are at least 6,000,000 cubic meters of easily recoverable wood. This wood is very resilient to water and only the outer layers are affected. CEOTA is actively working towards recovery of this wood as experts have determined that for each log recovered there will be an equivalent to 35 living trees that will be saved from destruction thus saving valuable acres of existing rainforest.
