NITE and UBSS are always bad news. When they are the major players, you can assume intense manipulation is taking place.
Challenge is both will drive a stock upward, or will drive a stock downward, depending on their objective.
Readers should research NITE (Knight) Market Maker. You will discover NITE has been censored by the SEC multiple times and fined hundreds of millions. This does not change their behavior; profits are far greater than SEC fines.
Keep in mind, Market Makers are actually licensed brokers. Might be Schwab, might be TD Waterhouse, might be Etrade. All have been sanctioned by the SEC at one time or another. All have been caught engaging in unlawful activities.
Commission of financial crimes by Wall Street companies is the norm, the expected, not the exception, not at all.
What we traders face is we _must_ play along wtih the Market Makers to be successful. We are primarily buying from Market Makers and selling to Market Makers. If one of our bid orders or ask orders is not in keeping with Market Maker intent, no execution.

you know what?, i doesnt let me in past the homepage, damn ameritrade! funny part is i'm completely logged off, the only window i have open is my L2 window for FHAL and that is still running...

actually firstrade has been good to me to there com's are a little higher , but i keep them for my free realtime L2 when my java is working right

about signals: think about it for a moment.... 100-500 signal other traders could just be playing with your head..What a set up, if you ya think it's market makers...

I remember being in RSHN when we figured out one of the MM's signals was 911. Every time we saw 911 shares at the ask we bounced up, every time we saw 911 at the bid we slid down. It was actually pretty funny. Then one of our Allstocks posters did a quick 911 buy and it sent it up a few ticks before it stopped. It never happened again after that. I guess that they found out that we were on to them. I mean 911 shares were only like $9 at the time. He spent just as much on the trade fee...lol

i can't imagine what the really big spenders are feeling right now...although i'm sure ya'll were smart enough to get rid of/buy early enough to not care...

This sucks bad. Not one thing has changed since the merger was announced, not one single thing. It ran up 150% and now it is down to lower. What happened to all the optimism that everyone felt at the news. Jeez, it makes no sense.
