Very nice JIF, thanks. I'm at work too, so I don't want to try calling right now.

It's possible I'm just misinterpreting what they mean by "associated with". I see one entity purchasing IP rights from another entity as a type of association. When I see the statement that the Foundation isn't associated with JMCP I wonder if that statement was made in the context of members of the shareholders thinking that both the Foundation and JMCP are part of the same company, in the context of the Foundation telling JMCP to put out a press release so shareholders stop bothering the Foundation since it has no idea what's going on, or some context in between those.

It's related to exactly where in the process JMCP is with this Wright building. The Foundation owns the IP rights to the unbuilt designs...has the architecture firm secured the right for the building already? Or has JMCP? Or does this still need to be done before everything is finalized? I'm just trying to squeeze as much detail as I can out of these PRs.

Of course, I might just get flamed again for being too nit-picky, as I was when I brought up the poor spelling and grammar of past PRs...

Well, I agree about getting as much intel as possible.

I'll post the actual pr about how they secured the rights to build the Wright house in a second.

But, It appears they are serious about keeping in good standing with the Foundation, as they were the ones who put out the clarification PR.

I think the Foundation basically got mad and JMPC put this out to smoothen out the relationship.

I have no doubt the relatioship is real and they are really going to build the house. But, the Foundation is going to protect itself and the Wright design at the same time.

CHICAGO, May 18, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Commonwealth American Financial Group, Inc./James Monroe Capital (Pink Sheets:CWFG) today announces that its Costa Rica resort development at Punta Uva will include a Casino.

The casino will be developed and run (initially) by the same team of Italians who did the Hard Rock Casino in Florida.

At the present time, some 200+ Caribbean cruise ships per year dock north of Punta Uva at Limon where tourists don't have much to see or do as the ships gas up at the industrial port town. Many of them are taken by bus, 3 hours away, to visit the San Jose casinos. Dr. Jane commented, "Several tour busses a day go past the beach, and there has been no development in this area. The tourists are desperate for entertainment. We can give them an all-inclusive package: the best beach, rentals, the rainforest, guided trekking, canopy rides, a casino, dance club, restaurants ... all of which draw people to our resort."

A world-class US architecture firm will work with a local architect for the resort. "To be in the rainforest, the architecture has to be natural. We won't let anyone bring in bulldozers and pour concrete everywhere," says project founder Carr Pechtel. "The main room of the Rainforest Casino should have 30-foot-high glass walls with full views of the rainforest and wildlife, with the building built around the old trees, and vines coming down from the roof. This will be beauty that people will not forget. We want them to come to Costa Rica just to see our resort ... and it's so cheap to build here too."

CEO Chris McGovern said, "This resort passed our value/growth tests with flying colors. It's a good deal, and we didn't even factor in the income from the casino. Adding the casino to the mix only improves things. We are very eager to get to the point where we can have audited financials. This will take time, and money, but we would like to help our shareholders make rational decisions."

The company expects to receive its new symbol and finalize the name change very soon, for a clear, public distinction of the new leadership and direction.

HERE IS THE PRESS RELEASE ABOUT THE WRIGHT HOUSE.

CHICAGO, Jun 01, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- James Monroe Capital Corporation (Pink Sheets:JMCP), has announced that its Resort Development could now be worth upwards of $30mm when complete. The increase comes because the development has been given the honor of being able to build an original Frank Lloyd Wright building.

Frank Lloyd Wright has been called America's greatest architect. When he died, there were some designs that had not been built. Architect Charles Montooth, of Montooth & Hamblin, was Wright's apprentice from 1945 until the time of his death. Montooth will be overseeing the project the same way he supervised the construction of some of Wright's other original designs. Montooth & Hamblin will be designing the rest of the Resort, which will be "not on the land, but of the land," in true Wright style. Architect Floyd Hamblin commented: "Its pretty inspiring. I am incredibly enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with such natural beauty, and create something that will reflect that natural beauty and grace the landscape." Elements of the Montooth & Hamblin design will include open-air showers, rooftop planters, exterior rooms without walls, and dramatic, serene shapes.

James Monroe Capital CEO Chris McGovern said, "Having an original Frank Lloyd Wright on our resort is a lot like getting an original Picasso painting. It's a piece of art, and our target market loves it. Its construction will attract international attention to our resort, Rainforest Beach(TM), and we will be able to charge premium rates because the rare nature of the architecture will bring tourists from all over the world. This sort of project doesn't happen very often."

Ah, I must have missed that one. When I view their (JMCP's) website I see some formatting issues. One of the issues is that some of the news links are on top of other links. I think it's probably an issue with Safari-incompatibility. Of course, that's probably something about which I should contact them, but for them web design is a lower priority when compared to making aquisitions and building resorts. [Smile]

From Wallst.net...

"James Monroe Capital Corporation
JMCP - The new company ownership and management took over a month and a half ago, and the company had no assets or revenues at that time. Since then, the company has gained income through compliance and marketing contracts with Bradford Funding (www.bradfordfunding.com) and Bradford Mortgage (www.bradfordmortgage.com) in excess of $200,000 per year. Through acquisitions it gained subsidiaries Taylor Moffitt LLC (rental properties) and Northland Home Solutions (high-end homes). It is developing a beachfront luxury resort (Rainforest Beach(TM)) projected to be worth $30,000,000. Rainforest Beach(TM) intends all of its architecture to be dramatic and stunning, designed by Charles Montooth (apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright) and Floyd Hamblin. The company also intends to feature one original masterpiece of architectural art, and will officially apply and pay fees to the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Unbuilt Designs program at the time the construction loan funds. It is also developing an additional, separate, beachfront resort projected to net the company $5,000,000."

If this is all for real, that's great.

I think the only other thing they could do to boost share price is to buy back some more shares.

If enough of their well to do business associates buy some of this dirt cheap stock and hold it could do anything IMO.

Just for laughs go see what a hundred grand does against the oustanding float.

It looks like this one has dropped off the radar for a little bit. It is going to take some TNT to get this one going, but it could run everntually. Hell, at 0001 I can leave it alone and see what happens. Worst case, I can add it my pile of other useless certs! [Smile]

The company is pleased to announce that its letter of intent to develop a beachfront property in Guanacoste was accepted in writing by the owner of the project, to partner with James Monroe Capital by providing the land, while the company provides planning and timeshare marketing, which should net the company $5,000,000.

The deal is subject to inspection, which is to be done around June 21.
