OK. I am officially bored out of my mind now. I've been watching this thing for a year - owned it too. It's dead on the bottom. Something has to happen and soon!!!!!!

When and if we do get free shares of ONYI, it will be well below a penny...probably around .0002 - .0003.

I'm still here. I think things still look good for us as stockholders. It's like the negativity comes in waves here. Hey USFBrian, how come you decided to filp flop again? You were running chats for JMCP and promoting them like you were a paid employee. Is it because you think they are going to sink onyi by releasing more shares?

die hard right here. I believe in James Monroe Capitol. I think it is the best micro available right now. they have made all the right moves. the PR's have been good. This is a long term 'investment', IMHO. I know the 'I' word is despised in pennyland but if there is a long micro-penny, IMO this is it.

Their are a few plants be started all over the country. The Tampa Port in Florida has a new plant starting. The plant is by another company. Hopefully James monroe/Original new york will be competitive.

Wow. This board has fallen off into oblivion.
What are some of the opinions out there?
Here's mine. I can't wait for the divy to happen so I can start the 2 years of watching the price go up. I bet they are waiting to release news about contracts or permits until after the divy. I don't mean to pump, but the only negative I can see is the 2 year restriction on the stock. If you can deal with that, I'm certain this one's a winner! All my opinion.

Diversified Ethanol A Division of Originally New York, Inc Expands with 14-Acre Purchase On Schedule Wednesday January 3, 8:43 am ET
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Diversified Ethanol, a division of Originally New York, Inc (OTCBB:ONYI - News) today closes on the purchase of a 14 acre site where it intends to build one of its ethanol plants. This will bring the young but aggressively expanding company's inventory from one plant to two. After that plant is completed, the company intends to expand again. The ethanol industry has seen rapid growth taking place as lawmakers are legislating ethanol blending into business. Diversified Ethanol seeks to market new technology that it hopes will make the biofuels industry more cost effective.
The 14-acre purchase features grain storage bins, steel tanks, hoppers, augers, a steel building to house equipment, a building that will become the lab, storage buildings, and its own well.
The company's pilot plant now stands ready to run, awaiting permits. Once permits are in place, the process of optimizing the plant will begin, which usually takes several months.
Regarding merger rumors, the company denies rumors that any definitive agreements have been reached, but acknowledges that it has been in talks with multiple companies. CEO Taylor Moffitt stated, "If anything happens, we will put out a press release as soon as we have any solid news that can benefit our shareholders."

James Monroe Capital Progress Report Saturday January 6, 12:03 pm ET
CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--James Monroe Corporation (Pink Sheets: JMCP - News) has successfully executed its restricted stock dividend of ONYI, and now shareholders own two stocks, with ONYI being more valuable, respectively. Shareholders are advised to check with their brokers for more information such as when stock will show up in brokerage accounts and when stock can be safely sold without losing the dividend.
Taylor Moffitt commented, "We're transitioning into a new opportunity here. We all now own two stocks, and need to make the most of both of them. Yes, the news you've heard about our new project at ONYI is real. I saw this machine work with my own eyes, touched it, reviewed university certification documents, and chemical analysis documents myself. While Chris and I are focusing on ONYI projects (that other companies have allegedly attempted to purchase with offers to the tune of $9 and $12 billion) we do not want to waste our most liquid asset, JMCP. Next week we will begin what may be a long process of interviewing potential executives to head up JMCP. Chris and I will continue to remain loyal shareholders, supporters, and advisors for JMCP, and will continue to refer deals to the company, even if new talent is coming to inspire fresh ideas. We will be selective, and hire the best person for the job. Diane Aldrich will remain with JMCP. As we all know, ONYI now owns many of the assets and projects JMCP had, including the JMCP name. However, I am pleased to announce that the James Monroe Capital of today will be keeping its name, will continue to be viable, and will continue to grow into the future. I have heard the requests of my long-term partners and the need for liquidity and growth, and I treat all of my long-term partners as family. Over my dead body will anyone be allowed to hurt my family. God Bless."

I realize the 2010 to 1. Is jmcp going to continue as a penny stock. I have been watching onyi. Is the jmcp going to change to onyi on the 12. ONYI made a heck of a run last week and came back down, but when will we know what we have and what it's worth. They said it would have a waiting period of two years before we could trade. When do we or are they going to tell us when that is. Or am I just in the dark on this.

I've been away form this thread for a while and I am a little confused. We are supposed to get 1 ONYI share for every 2010 JMCP shares we own, but, we cannot trade these shares for two years? Is that correct?
Why would we get a clothing apparel stock for a company that may specialize in ethanol production?
I'm confused. Any insights, ideas or comments would be greatly appreciated.
