Makes sense now, I'm not in, but wanted to learn. I never quite understood the whole thing with JPHC either.

the bid is dropping, most current paim holders have been complaining for weeks that they cant do ANYTHING with thier shares. if you have paim shares from before the 15th of june you can only sell 10 percent of them! = 2,0000 bought BEFORE june 15th you can sell NO MORE THAN 200,000 today, thats 10 percent. if you sold them all you will have to buy back 1,800,000 to cover at whatever price you can.

this will keep moving up as more and more people have to cover the samething happened to PAIV a few monthes ago and its went from about .0001 to about .03.......almost 300 times higher so i just covered right away(today at .0007) and bought some extra hoping to cover my losses and hopefully make some on top
this is one fu*ked up scenario and more and more peopel will have to keep covering as they find out that they have to so this will kepp going up its just unfortuanate for the people who dont knwo they have to cover and wont find out till about 2 weeks after they sold

ask is back to .001, bid is still .0006. if you HAVE to have it buy at .0007 not the ask. IMO, for myself i am watching, dont like the set up, smells fishy.

Your numbers for PAIV are a bit off. As far as I can remember, it never dropped below .0008 and never got above .013 until the last few days. Still a huge jump, but not anywhere near 300x

Update: Scottrade's local office rep. has committed to me that they see what they can do to release the "hold" on my position since I had bought and settled on 6-29-2006. The rep. referred to exploring whether Scottrade can place an "exception" on my account to allow me access to the shares. He is looking at this and says he'll get back to me. (I'll give him and hour or two.).....I'll speculate that Scottrade has an internal issue with DTCC that is causing their confusion. Secondly, the transfer agent for PAIM that Scottrade provided to me is: First Public Securities Transfer Corporation Phone:310-770-6689 address: 4546-B10 El Caminio Real Suite 288 Los Altos, CA 94022 I spoke to a guy named David who did not seem to want to talk too much, but I did glean from him that they understand there should be no restriction on the remaining 10% of the issue after the buyback date and that all restrictions should have been resolved and or removed. He pointed a finger back to the brokerage and the clearing house that the brokerage uses, as where the problem is. Can decide if this info from david was a dodge or if he was sincere.......... ........So, if pressure keeps being applied throught the various points of contact at Scottrade (in your local offices), the clearing house (if you have a contact there--I do not), and the transfer agent (see prior info), perhaps we all can get something accomplished besides just being frustrated. Last, I requested my Scottrade staffer to at least provide a national level resource to use for resolving the holds at Scottrade, if they are not able to accomplish such from the local level. More whe I hear something useful.
Best regards to all

Just had a short discussion with local Scottrade rep.,,,,,He indicated that my request to remove the "hold" was discussed with the local branch manager and a resource at Scottrade's corporate HQ, specifically regarding my circumstance. Subsequent to those discussions, he indicated he received an e-mail back from corporate (Scottrade) that the "hold" was removed on my position. He had no definitive knowledge if holds would be removed from other accounts. Yet I heard him hint at one point that he thought other Scottrade customers might see the restriction removed from their accounts as well...... My rep. also said that I could put any friends in touch with him if they needed assistance. Therefore, I would be happy to do so through private e-mail. ............ So, has anyone else seen a change on their account if they are trading through Scottrade? Megahead34, is that what you ditto means?

That's good to know....BTW Thank You, but I surmise there were a few other folks making calls to Scottrade as well. In the end here, it relieves some frustration. Enjoy the evening....I will.

yea, maybe they realized a bunch of us called and were like: "ok fine"
I ended up buying only 625,000 shares at .0008, thats all i can afford on my account. Not sure if it is a wise choice, could be a gamble. We'll see.
