Government Push for Energy Efficiency Pushing Energy Services Industry Forward
Wednesday February 8, 7:45 am ET
PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Frost & Sullivan will host a conference call Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 1:00 PM EST to provide industry participants an insight into the new push for energy conservation, which is stimulating a lot of growth for energy services companies.
In light of the new Energy Bill, legislation is pushing government facilities to new levels of energy efficiency, and the energy services industry is happy to help. New mandates and initiatives are requiring government buildings to practice more energy conservation and also to implement more renewable sources of power into their infrastructures.
"The vital need to be more energy efficient is becoming more and more well known, and nobody knows it better or is implementing measures more than the government," says Devin Castleton, Consulting Analyst for Frost & Sullivan's Energy & Power Systems group.
The federal government announced that it will re-compete project contracts to all ESCOs who are interested in bidding. Previously, federal contracts were only available to specially licensed, usually utility-owned, ESCOs. The government, as well as other end-user groups, is becoming more aware of the need for energy services to help them meet new standards, save energy, and cut costs.

I am not sure why you are getting so excited about the narrowband line carrier technology. The narrowband is over line carriers. i.e. power line carriers. That would put CNES out of the running since they are wireless. I am not sure why they would use narrowband carrier type meter technology. I talked to several technicians with various electric companies at a conference last year and they told me narrowband was too slow to get instance response. During testing it took up to 15-20 minutes to get a signal back and forth. In either case, if SCE is only using line carries, CNES is not in the running since CNES is wireless only. That would stink. I hope they are considering CNES for the future, but the way it looks CNES is out of the running if they (SCE) are only looking at line carrier technology only.

I was told by a Senior Officer of the company that news would be out in ten days.He said he couldn't tell me any thing, just that they have been in talks with GE for about a year and a half.

Something of a little interest. Rodney Lighthipe, who is on the Advisory Board for ConectiSys Corporation was a manager of research and Director of Product Developement for San Diego Gas & Electric. In Orange and San Diego counties, SDG&E is moving ahead with plans to put 1.3 million new electric meters in homes and small businesses in 2008 and 2009 at a cost of over 2 Billion dollars.
I just can't help but see the connection here, lets hope that Mr. Lighthipe has "friends" still at SDG&E, and we will be seeing real pennies.
Ready for that PR anytime now!
Now?
How bout now?
Now?
Are we there yet?

Buy out...depends on the price for the buyout. A buyout of 100M would put the stock at .01 value minus some calculations for debt etc. Then you would have to factor in who bought it…are they marketing it..or dumping it to make there technology worth more and have less competition. I think the technology is worth more than 100M. It also depends on how much stock the President etc. have and what amount of $ they want to retire with. Some presidents of startups will not sell until they prove the product they have developed goes and makes it to market. Think about it...you work 10 years to develop this product and then sell it before you see it in action? The kind of person that creates a company and get’s to this point is not the type of person who would sell quickly…. I don't think so... unless you really need the $. Just imo.

considering the cost of energy and what deregulation would mean to the energy industry across the country - I would say considerable. I would peg it higher than the $100m listed above - especially with CNES now SO close to going to the market. It's something all of the energy companies are gonna need. This is a cheaper solution to roll out broad market wise and cheaper to maintain than other solutions.

quote:Originally posted by iwearpro: After talks with the ceo last month I bet they are having a hay day with this stock at these prices. He flat out told me that they were selling off CD'S to keep the business going. They are dilutting as fast as people are buying. If you are buying in at anything over .0003 and you plan to hold it you will lose what you have...trust me. Untill well into the first contract and the funds are in the bank, they will sell off CD'S and dilute it back down so they can survive. After this weeks buying is done it will settle back down to the .0002-.0004 range but I would say no higher. I have watched this stock for so long and have talked with the ceo a couple of times and both times he told me the same thing.
Good luck to all but write it off as a play and dont be affraid to take what profits you have.

Passed 1 bil and we are slowing down. Doubt too many people are willing to sell at these levels anymore. 1st Gen has taken their profit (congrats to them) and now it is time for the 2nd Gen to open this puppy up! Let's get that PR and get crazy!
Those are partial fills on buys and sells, thats all those small amounts are. I sold some and it sold in several 5000 block chunks before it all sold. This has been a traders dream all week, buts its done for a while im afraid.
