I sure like the "invetor confidence" --- every time a slew of sales go thru at .0007 we go back to .0008 with new buys

IMO true support here at .0007 for the time being anyway

I would think most of the .0007 sales are gone -- dont you all ??

*hrumph*
I just had a sell order go through for 557,000 at .0008.
That's odd.
I'll take the small gain and run though....

Universal Express (USXP) Re-Submits Two Proposals For AirNet Systems (ANS)
Tuesday December 20, 12:25 pm ET

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 2005--Universal Express Inc. (OTCBB: USXP - News). At 11:30 today, Universal Express presented a new proposal for AirNet's acquisition involving only cash or cash plus warrants and stock. The terms of this proposal will be presented after acceptance or rejection by AirNet's investment banker

Here is the "letter" from USXP to purchase ANS
www.usxp.com/airnetshlt.pdf

Now in reading this, I am pretty sure that USXP would love to purchase ANS....BUT they can't afford it. And ANS has not responded...or at least...I can't find the response any where...basically..I see this as a "ploy" for advertisement by USXP. I don't think that ANS is acknowleding the letter or USXP as a matter of fact..I did find this on ANS's website:

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- December 16, 2005 -- AirNet Systems, Inc. (NYSE: ANS) today announced that it has been unable to reach a definitive merger agreement with the private equity investment firm that entered into a letter of intent with the company on October 26, 2005. As a result, the Special Committee of AirNet's Board of Directors has allowed the exclusivity period with the firm to expire. As previously disclosed, AirNet entered into a letter of intent for the sale of the company to the nationally recognized private equity investment firm in a going private transaction. Pursuant to the terms of the letter of intent, the private equity investment firm had exclusivity until December 15, 2005 to complete its confirmatory due diligence and execute a definitive merger agreement. Speaking on behalf of AirNet's Special Committee, James E. Riddle, Lead Director, stated: "We are disappointed that we have been unable to reach a definitive agreement. Our board and our management team will now focus on continuing to operate AirNet as an independent company. Obviously, in the exercise of our fiduciary duties, if we receive an offer from a qualified potential acquirer, we will consider it."

Notice how the above letter states..."if we receive an offer from a qualified potential acquirer we will consider it."

This is my opinion...but I think that they were referring to USXP...All of this is my opinion...but also know that the "20 days from the time of the January 3 letter has come and gone...I don't think that there will be a response from ANS to USXP to purchase the company....

I'm not trying to bash USXP..I have some of there stock also...and I would love to be totally wrong...I just am putting the info out there...and my interpitation of the info...

You guys decide...please don't start attacking me..

Universal Express Offers to Solve the $100 Million Security Fees Billed to Airlines by the TSA
Business Wire - January 26, 2006 12:17

NEW YORK, Jan 26, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Universal Express Inc. (OTCBB: USXP)

"Universal Express through its subsidiary Luggage Express offered to show how it can cover the security fee that airlines are balking at paying to the TSA (see articles below.) In exchange for the payment and security peace of mind, Luggage Express is asking that the movement of luggage be separated from the passenger. We can fund this security fee payment through the revenues gained from sales of shipping luggage," said Richard Altomare, CEO and Chairman of Universal Express, Inc.

"Curiously, this separation will have other benefits as indicated below. These benefits are expanded upon in our position paper entitled 'More Safety, Less Hassle for American Travelers, a Private Sector Solution. (http://www.usxp.com/securitywp.pdf) We're prepared to initiate dialogue with interested parties," concluded Richard Altomare.

-- Decline in passenger baggage reduces the prospect of infiltration of terrorist

-- Reduce demand for baggage screening

-- Reduction of TSA security screening costs

-- Faster and enhanced security check-in

-- Refocusing of screening personal and equipment to cargo screening

-- Airline revenue enhancements because of handling less baggage and faster plane turn around.

i'll try make this a simple as i can for you fatso,
you have a post up that starts with:
'origionally posted by iternity'

the next line says:
'read my posting there:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/mb?s=ANS'

what does that mean?
it means you quoted a post by iternity, in that post, iternity gives a link to the forum that optimizer got the info that this mortimerandrandolfduke guy posted, with out any source. this is a good thing, which i do not think you are grasping. it gave other people a chance to see the source of this rumor and make up there own mind as to whether it is true or not.

where you got this quote, i do not know. i can not see it in this thread, nor will the link supplied by optimizer work for me, so it could have come from that as far as i know. I am not blameing you for anything, never was.

Then what your point is or was in attacking me yesterday still is a mystery. I have no idea how you claim that I can be blamed for your blaming that other guy.

And as I previously said, my quotes are taken direct from the people who made them, right here in this discussion. Why you attempted to attack me for your own failure is anyone's guess, but it remains established that I am not to blame for your screwing up in blaming that other guy. He said what he said, I said what I said, and the guy whose numbers were yesterday called "BS numbers" said what he said. This is not something that you can change.

Thanks for this update. I guess we can take it as encouragement that they say they still are discussing the ANS offer, which is better than a flat "No!" from ANS. In fact I take this as confirmation that a deal is on the way.

The Coalition for Luggage Security Congratulates Ryanair
Business Wire - January 27, 2006 09:00

NEW YORK, Jan 27, 2006 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Coalition for Luggage Security reports a trend in airlines charging for carry-on and checked luggage. Ryanair Airline, a low-cost Dublin based airline, has announced that they will be charging for checked luggage and cutting fare prices for those without luggage.

"Ryanair and others, such as Flybe, are part of the trend we have been discussing. By decreasing fares for those who travel without luggage and charging a fee for checked-in bags, Ryanair will realize the savings associated with lighter loads. By making a profit from charging for bags, and the benefits of moving passengers through the airport quickly by not being held up on security lines, the Coalitions luggage and passenger discussions begin to attract a larger audience," said Harvey Abelson, Coalition Director.

"Once again we see the impact luggage has on airlines, and how airlines can become more profitable while keeping air travel secure and more enjoyable. Smaller airlines are taking the hint, and we urge larger airlines to follow suit. If a smaller airline can decrease airfares, lessen aircraft load and increase security while speeding up the travel process, imagine the savings in money and time larger airlines would reap. At the same time, air travel will become more secure. All of these elements have been laid out in our white paper (http://www.usxp.com/securitywp.pdf). As the trend of hands free travel grows, we'll be taking airlines, airplanes and airports out of the terrorists gun sights, and returning air travel to the airlines and the traveler," said Richard A. Altomare, Founder and Chairman of the Coalition for Luggage Security, and CEO of Universal Express, Inc. (OTCBB: USXP).
