PAPPY. About 1 month and a half ago, i posted a long winded post regarding this situation and was one of the main reasons i got out of QBID.
The business model on QTN is not IMO properly set and cannot go on as a business.
Frank said the burn rate was 1M like 9 months ago, and we all know that nothing Frank has ever said has ever been right. So id say that it was about 1.5M back then and now is probably at least 3M with all the additional personalities and shows, etc. (Anybody wanna know how much they were paying Josh Fountain?)
So with a 3M burn rate. Then you have to understand that currently most of the contracts set up QTN is paying the carriers to carry their station, so they are not making 7.95, but paying them to carry it. But once/if things settle in, then they split it half and half. Thats $4 a sub.
So we are talking about 750,000 subsribers will be needed to break even give a take a few.
Now we all have been using skewed numbers, because me and pennytrader used to use the number of 10% of each potential sub would sign on. In fact Frank olsen himself says they are only looking to get 1-2% (if you dont trust me, go look on the qtn website in investor info, that article in the financial times.
So, if they are only getting 1% of their potential subs currently with 3M house distribution, they only have 30,000 subs of the 750,000 they need to break even. I stated about 1 and a half months ago that i had heard that the sub numbers were extremely low, and many sources have come out and verified this. Take it as you may, rumors speculation, but when it is compounded, you have to see a similarity. One was quoted as saying they have 800 subs, another said very low subs, and i said that in novevmeber i belivee they had about 1500 subsribers.
point is, yes they have a very limitied reach currently, and like all new businesses (QTN is like 7 years old) they are loosing more money than they are taking in. BUT, my point is that i dont think QTN can ever suceed with their business model. Many of us never thought about it, but run the numbers, and look at that financial times arcticle where frank said 1-2%.

I dont know if it is actually skunksyard posting his messages on here or just somebody copying them over, but either way they are skunks posts from IHUB. He is not joking around, that is what he is paid to post.

David, dont you think if Frank thought the pps was going to go up in the next week or month, he would slow down on the dilution? Why dilute 2B shares a day at .0001 if you knew the pps was going up. Or would you dilute as fast as possible at .0001 before you annoucne bankruptcy?

Wangdo, my honest opinion, is that QTN is sinking. They are on the verge of bankruptcy. They have not paid employees in over a month, they have lost half their on air personalities, canceled shows, and lost 75% of their staff. Frank has lied about everything that has come out of his mouth. he has screwed one to many people, and the actual business of QTN will not last much longer.
With that said, i have told many people through my phone chats that the only reason why i would still hold is because the question of who is buying and why. Somebody probably is buying those shares at .0001, and my guess is that it is a company like Planetout or Bravo, or somebody like that, because they can buy a majority share of the company for a greatly reduced price. And then QTN will be bought out by that company, which will run the stock price up IMO.
So yes, i think anyone that is saying anything postiive towards QTN these days are either paid pumepers, or have just put so much money in they cant take off their rose colored glasses, but the question remains whos buying and why. Very good question, and the only way out i see.
If Planetout was to gain 50% of the shares they could buy the company for .001 a share and major mucho deniro on the 50% of the shares they own, and everyone here would make out much better than me.

MT..IMAK, that is what has me so perplexed, this has been a so so volume week(around 7B )and we all know that these aren't just new shares they could be old shares just trading hands.

At this point "in time", if Q can't make it, then its possible that the rest will fail as well. I don't think anyone with a with a clean soul will buy them..... I have 12m shares left in my taxable account and 5m in my IRA. I am thinking about selling my 12m shares at .0001 to take the tax loss. Those shares in my IRA, well I will just hold them for a while longer. As I stated before, I believe it will be a Loooong time before QBID rises from the dead, if ever. With 250B more shares to sell, I feel fairly sure of this. If QBID does go back up, there will be plenty of time to buy back in, if one chooses. Frank is NOT buying back any shares if he can't even meet his payroll. Right now, I rather have $1200 to invest somewhere else.

I agree, because the damage/bad news, is painted throughout every search engine on the web, so in their quest for DD the new investor would certainly see it and negatively affect his/her opinion.
Ultimately scaring them away from the investment. At least for now.

LEO I don't know who or what this person is, but I believe that everyone posts for self-serving reasons. Maybe he (or she) now thinks the time is "right" to be a pumper instead of a basher. If so, that makes him the same as all the professional stock analysts who switch ratings based on their personal agendas rather than their objective opinions.
