I will ask again. Are you on drugs? Frank has screwed everyone from investors, to partners to the GLBT community. He is selfish, rude, unprofessional and has no couth or respect towards ANYBODY or ANYONE, including investors and the GLBT community. Therefore, he should step down as CEO. Period!

if Logo and Here! are available on Comcast in the Chicago area, then Q-TV should have absolutely no problem with getting their own channel. It's either a lack of management, or they just don't give a crap.

Maybe Franks interpretation of being gay is completely different from what most gays consider it to be. That might explain the lack of interest.

well, the end users seem to be subscribing to the other '2' gay networks. What is Q's problem?
I am tired of sitting on these shares I bought 3 years ago.

I think this person is a heckler from RB. (Not you Dew) He/she is just trying to get under everyone's skin and push their buttons. I'm sure Bottomliner will do a psychological evaluation and figure them out.

The only gay that I work with told me he didn't see QTN taking off. He siad that there is already LOGO. He didn't sound interested in QTN. Do we think a couple of gay cowboys living on Brokeback Mountain would watch QTN? May be the big cities gays are different from the gays down in the small towns??? I gave him the DVD.. Have to find out what he thinks about it.

ricecakes at a burn rate of 2 million a mounth, and at a rate to subscribers of 7.95 a mth Q would need over 250,000 subscribers at that rate. SO does the carrier get any of the 7.95 or does Q pay a flat rate. 250,000 seem to me to be a lot of subscribers seems to me to be a lot of subscribers in this amount of time.

pappy , thats an alarming thing u brought up ...actually q usually splits the 7.95 with the carries..so at 4 bucks they would need 500k subscribers to feed the 2 mill float.. thats pretty scary. the only thing that we could survive off is the film library. either that or the biggest bull**** pr i will ever see in my life.. im actually hoping for the bs pr

Are you on crack or something? Where did you learn business? Here is something for you to read and maybe give that idiot Frank a copy.
Execution - The disapline of getting things done - by Larry Bossidy and Ram Charan, both former CEO's. The end user is never at fault. It means the business plan was not executed properly or was no good to begin with...end of story. Read the book and you will learn a few things.

Ricecakes is the biggest moron on the face of the earth and possibly in the entire universe. Why don't we all ignore this idiot as he/she is absolutely worthless. Maybe then they will go away and we can get back to our own inhouse fighting.
Speaking of the inhouse fighting, where has MT been?
Also, DJ, if you go down to the studio anytime soon, you should ask Frank what everyone is talking about on here...How are they trying to get subscriptions? Are they putting Q on in more and more markets and crossing their fingers, hoping people will find out about it? OR are they actually doing the proper marketing to get this thing going?
I thought QTN was doing GREAT marketing last year around the time of all the gay parades. What happened??? Did they not continue to follow through? You might ask Frank if he even has a person in charge of marketing or if he has ever heard of branding? Seems to me anyone who had heard of Q has forgotten the name by now, since they stopped getting their name out there after a great few months of promotions.

wonder what our sub costs are....wonder what our sub revenues are....
well, it costs xm $141 to sign each new sub--up from $104 last year.
"They have been in a startup mode for a very long time, and have been in a negative cash flow mode for a very long time," said Heather Goodchild, chief media analyst at the Standard & Poor's debt rating agency. "If the capital markets became less receptive, you could envision the music stopping and not enough chairs being there."
For the full year, XM posted a loss, after preferred dividends, of $675.3 million, or $3.07 per share, compared with $651.2 million, or $3.30 per share, last year. Revenue rose to $558.3 million from $244.4 million.
XM said it had more than 5.9 million subscribers at the end of 2005, up 84 percent from a year earlier, and said its total had risen to more than 6 million in the first week of January. Sirius has said it has more than 3 million subscribers.
XM's CEO Hugh Panero said the company expects to reach profitability from its operations by the end of this year, with subscription revenues reaching $860 million. He also said he expects to have 9 million subscribers by the end of the year.

DJ WE do have other income but start up cost must be more than we can imagin, and to take on such a monumental event as the Gay Games IMO its all Frank can do is write checks. This must be a huge , Expense probly more than anything we have done so far, and imo stock sales would not put much dent in our income. The money must come from private investors, and advertising. I belive the games will send us over the top if pulled off properly, so we wait and see. I will not sell I am in for the long hall on this one.

Clyde Thanks for your confidence in me ... I think.
At this time, I don't know who or what this person is. Or why he/she types in all caps. But I usually look for the simplest reason to explain everything. Example:
A kindergarten student suddenly started coloring everything in black crayon. The teacher immediately assumed the boy had mental problems and maybe even a "death wish", so she called his parents, who were equally shocked and immediately rushed him to a shrink.
The shrink asked one question: "Why are you coloring everything with black crayons?"
And the boy said, "It's the only color I have left. I used all the others."
And my point is ... sometimes we see problems where none exist, and sometimes we blame others for situations they did not create, and sometimes we see storm clouds and ignore the sunshine peeking out from behind them.
Sorry, time for my OP medicine. I found a new doctor who has prescribed Johnny Walker blue label for my symptoms ... and my insurance company is paying for it. Now that is a scam I can believe in.
