MM No, it was a manufacturing company. Did Fedex have a similar shakey start? I'm sure that many of today's highly successful companies had start up problems. And that many more failed.
We just have to hope Q is one of the success stories ... and only time will tell.

Fedex story goes (so ive heard since this is a fedex town). That employees checks wouldent get cleared, up to SVP's. Piolet's planes had no fuel so they whipped out there gold card and filled it up to deliver the packages. People would go weeks without a paycheck. Finally Fred took all the payroll money, flew to Vegas and won enough to cover the expenses. After that they never missed a payroll check.
Theres a book called "Absolutely Positivly overnight" Its quite intresting what some of the people did when the company started.

This is all getting so weird. Waiting it out is becoming unbearable.
hagatha I totally agree with that ... waiting is the toughest part of any job. Now I know why death row inmates sometimes resist another stay of execution. The waiting ends up being more inhumane than the actual execution.

Well we know Q still has someone to answer the phones. I talked to 2 of them and with one of them there was quite a buzz of people in the back ground doing things. Seriously. I could hear one telling the other this box is full I need another. Not seriously.

Thanks, MM. Is that part about Fred (the founder?) going to Vegas with the payroll true?
By the way, the company I worked for survived primarily due to WWII. When the war started, they were able to get some contracts for small parts needed in aircraft production. When the war ended, they were sound enough to expand and grew their primary product line into a Fortune 500 company.
So who says "War is Hell" ... it saved many small companies from shutting down (sad but true).

Just received this email from Cory. cory*qtelevision.com <cory*qtelevision.com>
Hi (my Name),
I’m sorry you haven’t received a response. I have not heard anything with regard to what the blogs are saying as being the truth about Frank or the status of the company. Please note, although I cannot comment on investor relations, there is no truth to what is being said to my knowledge. All of us at QTN are working and we are conducting business as usual. I’m sorry that’s not a clear message on the blogs.
Cory

I must say with all the drama today this makes Frank the quintessential drama queen. One has to wonder if he is enjoying what is going on as a way to feed his ego? I don't think he likes to be pushed around and this is his way of retaliation. If this is true, it could be good. Because of his ego he won't let QTN fail. Just some thoughts trying to justify the events of current.

Tim Curry as Wadsworth, the butler Eileen Brennan as Mrs. Peacock (wife of a corrupt senator) Madeline Kahn as Mrs. White (wife of a deceased nuclear physicist) Christopher Lloyd as Professor Plum (employee of U.N.O. W.H.O., United Nations Organization World Health Organization) Michael McKean as Mr. Green (a homosexual state department employee) Martin Mull as Colonel Mustard (a war profiteer) Lesley Ann Warren as Miss Scarlet (a prostitute and madam) Colleen Camp as Yvette, the maid Bill Henderson as the Cop Lee Ving as Mr. Boddy Jane Wiedlin as The Singing Telegram Girl Jeffrey Kramer as the Motorist Kellye Nakahara as the Cook Howard Hesseman as the Chief (uncredited) The film was directed by Jonathan Lynn, who wrote the script with John Landis.

I was just looking at the corporation details for State of Nevada resident agent Tiffany Kalahiki who is agent for Gulf State Holdings, Network Teleport, LLC, etc. There are 20 or so companies listed and this agent, Tiffany, lives at the same address as Richard Shintaku (Mgr. Gulf State Holdings) as well as someone named Keone Kalahiki. Keone and Tiffany are listed as Mgr. on some of the holding companies listings. I've only looked at five or so. Am I naive but is this normal or is this normal for scamming?

The way the story goes, yep thats a true statement, as far as i know. Some speculated that he made a deal with the mofia, IE why Fedex is the largest drug trafficer in the world (so ive been told). But who knows... accept Fred... and Vegas...
BTW PM BT
