Thanks Jenn, I try to live by it by, "working my azz off for 2 or 3 months, (nights, weekends, 7 days, etc.), then takin' a vacation". Works well for me GL....

You know that haphazardly run gay network on Will & Grace that Jack works for?
Well, it lives and is called Q Television. For $7.95 a month you can have it in New York now (which is getting it after Birmingham, Alabama and Eureka, California of all places). It looks very nice, with five hours of in-house live programming daily, but after watching it after only 20 minutes you can really tell how much money Viacom pumped into LOGO by comparison. Some of those sets look as rickety as an SRO off of 11th Avenue.
QTV has its own daily newscast which seems like it is normally hosted by a black man, but is guest anchored by Steve Kmetko this month, who is nearly unrecognisable and more jittery than I ever remember him. This newscast does seem very airy and casual, which is...I guess a good thing. (There was someone from Air America giving an anti-Bush commentary who said "goddamn." My kinda show.)
They have also given Reichen whateverhisnameisrightnow his own weekly call in show. Honey Labrador? She's got her own show. Dallas's gay and lesbian church, the Cathedral of Hope? They've got their own show. Hell, they seemed to have given anybody a show AND DAMMIT I WANT MY OWN! I mean you're airing Mirage of Blaze, which is an anime about gay angels of death. It's like you're just begging me to have my own half-hour.
QTV even has it's own Noah's Arc, called The Closet. (Cue the R. Kelly jokes, because lord knows that's what I thought.) Well, it looks like Noah's Arc except it's set in Baltimore, the men aren't physical adonises, and the acting looks and sounds straight out of Tyler Perry, pun intended. In fact, I think La Perry probably wrote this to be produced upon his death because it looks so unnecessarily overwrought. ("She said you were sleeping with her...and her husband!" SLAP!)
One thing that QTV has over LOGO so far is that they know that the gays love their dance music. (Seriously LOGO, you're an MTV network, you can at least give us an hour or two of pop/techno a day as opposed to having it just as filler.) All the obscure remixes of dance hits that you ever wanted. I need never go out to Splash again...okay, I probably will, but now it's just to get drunk.
I have found my guilty pleasure and I pray it stays kitschy and chaotic forever.

he mentioned it in the CC but he didnt realy explain it well.
my concern is that it is shown with the copyright sign after it and the only thing i can find is the company that has owned and operated the many radio stations over the years.

FINALLY a show I can watch on T.V. The Queer Edge with Jack E. Jett is freakin' funny. He had Bobby Lee from MAD TV on last night and it was great! Bobby, who is a funny dude, was wide eyed most of the time trying to take in all the zany action that was going on around him. The co- host this week is Julie Brown from MTV. What a great surprise it was to see her sing "Homecoming Queen has a Gun". I have been watching Queer Edge regularly now and it has been entertaining every night. Keep it up QTV!!!

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – September 21, 2005 – Q Television Network (OTCBB Other: QBID), announced today that Frank Olsen, President, CEO and Founder of Q Television Network, has sent the following letter to shareholders.
Dear Shareholders:
I’d like to briefly share some information with you about the network.
The studio is up and running, and is presently producing 5 hours a day of live new shows this month. Everything is within budget and within the time expected. I’d like to give a special thanks to Scott Withers & Alexis Fish for their hard work & dedication. Scott Withers has become Vice President of Q Television Network, replacing Joseph Morales.
I’m aware of shareholder concerns and I’m also aware that the shareholder meeting was supposed to be held at the end of September. That being said, we are a little behind schedule.
The DVD for shareholders should be mailed during the beginning of October. If you haven’t sent an e-mail to Richard Brown yet, please do so, because the earlier we have your information, the sooner you will receive your DVD. The DVD will detail the company’s growth, position in the marketplace, and specific answers to shareholder questions.
We have pushed the shareholder meeting back to Tuesday, October 11th. Originally, we were going to lease a hotel chain so shareholders could watch the simulcast of this meeting. Logistically, that was too difficult. We have a contract with an internet company to simulcast the meeting in type. The meeting will be interactive so that shareholders can ask questions.
We are on time with the audit, and it will be made public upon completion. The audit will outline certain points.

Triangle Multi-Media owns Q Television Network. If Q Television Network is sold, Triangle Multi-Media shareholders will be paid. _____________________________________________-- The additional assets of Triangle Multi-Media will also be disclosed in the audit, and this audit will ultimately bring us to reporting status. Please allow another 60 days for this to be completed. Due to government agency reporting, we cannot pinpoint or control the exact date for completion of the audit and fully reporting status. I understand this information has been a long time coming and well deserved for the shareholders. This audit will show that the financial side of Triangle Multi-Media is just as structured as the creative side of Triangle Multi-Media. The teleport has become an income-producing entity, and more importantly, the land we purchased with the teleport is on high ground with minimal damage. We have been running fiber uplinks throughout the country, and by week’s end we will have digital uplink service throughout the country.
I ask you to have confidence in our network. Contracts have been signed and are pending approval by the carrier companies. We will put this information out on the wire when we can. New advertisers have been signed, and you can view them on Q Television Network.
It’s our goal to be a profitable company. If Triangle Multi-Media continues on the path it’s on, we should break even by January 2006 and profitable by May 2006.

-You say I "pump" Q to lure "helpless investors" into buying Q stock, but I have never encouraged anyone to buy Q stock without doing their own extensive DD. -I say you "bash" Q for your own selfish reasons, but I won't even guess what those reasons are.
