Gem is refered to on page 93 of the pdf file lawsuit filed by firestone.
in the letter from Frank he mentions the funding through 2008 and mentions GEM
he has been telling the truth about that at least.

As if we didn't have enough on our plates, I guess now we'll have to focus our attention on the outer ramifications of this case as well. For instance, what might TW say about their position mentioned. And what about Cox, RCN or BH?...they might have something to say since they have a relationship with Q.
Maybe it's nothing at all. Maybe in the communications business this is just another day in the office. Just wondering.

I would be willing to bet that between Cox, RCN an BH, that atleast one of them new nothing of this until after it was filed.
My biggest concern is how will this affect the Gay Games Federation. They may have known about this, but I would imagine they would have preferred it to be resolved discretely.
Then again maybe not. jmo

If Frank got angry enough he may Disolve or bankrupt the privately held QTN. Triangle Multi-Media will continue as ussual and could open another corporation called QTC and continue the network without missing a single broadcast. Funny read, those court papers.

Yeah he'll probably have to pay out a little. But I really hope this doesn't affect the GG Federation.

i read all 170 pages. I think Franks is going to make out OK on this one.
if you have not read the whole thing read it all.
I felt pretty good after reading it.
it answered a lot of questions that the bashers have been asking.
I tend to disagree that this is a bad thing.
i was wondering how this was going to all fall into place when we bought the teleport and studios.
it appears that the reason we bought these is Frank was not happy with the Crap that Firestone was producing.
the Superbowl coverage was never aired because the production didn't capture the voices of all the interviews and there for where useless.
this seems to have been an on going problem
and according to the allegations that Franks lawyers are bringing forward, Firestone has been screwing with the uplink signal. freezing the picture and messing with the audio. hence some of the complaints about the quality of some of the shows that people have mentioned over the last couple of months.
it sounds to me like Firestone needed Q more then Q needed Firestone, and when we started pulling out, they decided they needed to have the work from Q to survive.
Im not worried, this looks more favourable for Frank. I mean really he went and bought a studio and an uplink facility!!!! why would he do that if he was happy with Firestone, and had the funding from GEM for 2.5 million a month.
i see many of the answers to questions that we have had regarding QBID in this document.
We now know where the funding is coming from as I stated in the message earlier.
we now know why the prs about the Superbowl coverage and the Liz Taylor tribute where never aired.
We now know why the morning show never happened, as Firestone failed to produce on this as well.
I believe that Frank has decided to hold this audit until he knows the outcome of this lawsuit.
no sense in showing everyone what they are worth until after the lawsuit is settled.
we now know that Franks stares are worth 50-100 million which gives us a 100-200 million valuation.
we now know why there have been complaints or comments about the video and audio not lining up, and the freezing. Firestone was messing with the signal, and was blaming TW for some of the problems.
all we have to do is wait.
our money is in this and not much you can do about the past, or the fact that we are down. we either wait it out or get out.
if you see this as a bad thing, i would get out now and save your nerves.
I feel good about this after reading the whole 170 pages. Frank has a good case in my opinion, and more then likely will get out of this for next to no money.
again this is all my take on things, read the entire document and judge for yourself.

Without looking into the merits of the suit (too busy dating a Franciscan Oakville Estate Cab) from the 10,000 ft. level, it looks like an efficient breach.
Posner would be proud.
For all grief Frank has been getting, I will say this--he's been a very, very busy bee.
Besides, its only $3M. It will settle for much less...if at all.

It looks like David Janus was correct when he went to the studio and he said he saw Frank with some lawyer types.
Seems as though Frank and Co were going over the lawsuit, just a thought.
Kudos to you DJ

I was thinking the same thing. which means that maybe before this info all came to light, Franks was going to release the audit.
this obviously has been on going prior to the december 1st file date, as both lawyers and the judge all had paperwork filed on this by the 2nd of December.
im prepaired to give Frank the space he requires to get this done.
I feel much better about a lot of info after reading this lawsuit. My question is, does anyone know how to get updates on this electronic filing? someone obviously found it and posted it? I believe MT was the one that posted this link for us.
lets try and figure out where we need to be watching to see what the outcome of this suit is.
