also use amtd here... a wire is sameday if done early enough an ach or check can be days to a week. they don't charge to wire in or out, but my bank charges me. we use apex which is cool. gotta have level II.

aznasdq I think you have it backwards, It's $15. buck from Ameritrade to checking and free for ACH from checking to Ameritrade. I have been using Ameritrade a long time and this last one is the first I've had this much trouble with. It is supposed to take 5 days (think it usede to be 15 days) but Veterans day was involved so that it ultimately too 9 days (8 1/2). You CAM make normal trades BUT NOT OTC until cleared, try OTC next time. Oh and yes all margin rules apply. Ameritrade and I went around and around.
Actual Ameritrade emails: For all deposits, you will be able to buy marginable securities as soon as your account is funded. However, there is a five-business-day credit hold placed on all electronic deposits before you may withdraw funds from your account, or buy non-marginable securities.Examples of <b>non-marginable securities include options*, IPOs, Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board stocks (OTCBB), and pink sheet securities.</b> The five-business-day holding period does not apply to funds wired into an Ameritrade account, which can be used for immediate purchase of securities. Ameritrade is certainly not trying to alienate our clients by imposing a hold period on check and ACH deposits. Although an ACH does not have a check number, it is treated like an electronic check. Your bank may have already cleared the funds from your bank; however, Ameritrade does have a 5 business day hold from the day it is deposited. The securities that you are not allowed to purchase during this time are considered to be more risky than fully marginable stock. The hold period is to ensure that something does not happen during that time where your bank would require the funds be returned. This does happen from time to time. <b>This helps to eliminate risk to your account and to Ameritrade.I am sorry that you we did not make it clear that November 11, Friday, Veteran's Day, was not a settlement day for funds. Kat, Maybe he will use some of his own cash from his IPVO days...he made a bundle when that went to NMKT...I do remember WHG posting something from AW regarding "how" he would buy these companies...

WHG and Kat...a little help here....please tell NextWeek that "wire transfer" is the best way to get cash into A-Trade for trading. No more than a day to wait....I have heard no more than 20 bucks to make the transfer...

Actually I have the same type account. I simply misunderstood. ACH is free from checking to Ameritrade. Wire was $15. but it appears they now charge $20. THANKS!

Ted, This 10Q has me baffeled right now...I just don't get it....unless he is buying time to "formally" close InMarketing?? We should have had the PR announcing the actual closing of INM?? Maybe just being a little cautious here....
15 minute delay I think. I subscribe to their pay services to get streaming news, L2, etc.
The 10Q might be taking up Welch's time if he has to consistently provide paperwork to satisfy the auditors questions. As he did with the 10K. I think the progression from Welch is: 10Q, THEN all the pr's, ie Inmarket, Naked Shorting, Nas merg, etc. In their minds I think the Q and the prs were coming out last week so they were not expecting to put off the prs this long. I'm sure they'll continue to stick to their plan and wait for the Q before they release the news.
I read on RB this morning that they have until Friday before they go to the pinks. Let's hope it's waaaaay before then.

Ted, According to AW they are done....I just don't like the "waiting" game here....not speculating here, just passing what was said to me....I think AW has two meanings for "done"..."done" as in just let the laywers finsh the legal paperwork and "done" as in the lawyers are through and we can "formally" PR/8K it....know what I mean??

Why would it take so long to finish the Q? From what I understand a lot of the info is the same as the k and there are just a few numbers that have to be changed??
Az--remember, they did announce the day inm was to be completed--it was OCT 15--
warped said that he heard the inm was still "in the process" so we are hearing mixed messages here. Some say it has been finished....
Regardless of the reasons behind these delays, it is plain old bad business not to deliver when you say you are. I know you guys have faith in welch, but his inability to get the financials out on time is most unprofessional.

i agree i hate the waiting game it is a double edged sword. we wait and the news comes out and it brings new investors that never had to wait....yet we wait hoping news comes out...with the news that is due we should see alot of new investors the only weird thing is is that we haven't seen more investors show up on spec...

The only reason the Q should be delayed at this point is if it's not a cut and paste from the K. The only reason it would not be such is if there are differences in what was on the books for the K. New information? Higher revs? Lets hope so.
If the Q comes out and has the same old info, then I'd be a lot more concerned about this becoming a 'trend'. We'll see.

Don't forget they have added Hnet since the K. That adds revenues, assets, expenses, and paperwork. That could be a reason for the apparent lack of cut and paste.

I need to go do some research on when thay have to file the 10Q with the SEC before missing the deadline. They could always file an extension, but let's hope that will not be required.

Just a reminder that we all had/have the opportunity to buy this at a very appealing PPS right now. Last week I sold all my DIAAF at 0.013 and put all that into MOTGE (even though some folks said hold the DIAAF on news this week ) Take this opportunity to get more MOTGE if you can, personally I can't get any more w/o getting rid of MMIC but I am in for the long run of 3-4 more months.
