Thought this would be interesting reading on NTI:
NTI is a full service dealer for SKYCELL satellite telephones. Additionally, NTI's high technology sales and business development arm provides telecommunications marketing and consulting, system design and is an integrated services provider for Internet access companies, wireless cable and cellular companies, and corporations needing "one-stop" advanced technology and telecommunications services.
NTI is licensed by the FCC as a Common Carrier provider of communications transmission services. With a full-service telecommunications facility, NTI is located fifteen minutes from New Orleans' Moisant International Airport, and five minutes from downtown New Orleans. NTI has extensive fiber optic interconnection with all the other communications carriers. Two regional access providers, BellSouth and Cox Fibernet have Points of Presence (POPs) located at NTI. NTI's round-the-clock staff provides rapid response, quality transmission, and customized solutions for everything from breaking news, sports events and long distance learning, to full-time program distribution and corporate data delivery.
Although NTI's core service area is the distribution of voice, video, and data signals via satellite, its Teleport, headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana, hubs telecommunications services to the eight state region of the Gulf South using an extensive fiber optic interconnect network, and provides major gateways to Europe and Latin America.
Customers of NTI include major domestic and international radio and television networks, including ABC, CBS, CNN, EBU, NHK, Conus, BBC, and RAI, among others. NTI's parent company, New Orleans Teleport, Inc., operates and maintains the nationwide satellite network for the U.S. Social Security Administration.
NTI was built in 1988 by Freeport McMoRan Information Ventures, a leading oil conglomerate, and is presently owned by two shareholder companies: Gibraltar Holdings Inc., a Florida entertainment company, and New Orleans Teleport Inc., a female minority-owned Louisiana corporation specializing in network management, marketing, communications consulting, satellite system design, installation and maintenance, and other non-Common Carrier business.
NTI transmits using C-Band and Ku-Band satellites which are leased from various satellite owners. NTI handles both domestic and international traffic providing linkage between cities and countries, using a vast network of fiber optic lines, other teleports, wireless carriers and other common carriers. Services include data, voice and video interconnect and transmission, videoconferencing, video production, Home Shopping, live newsfeeds, and business and marketing support.
As it enters its second decade of operation, NTI has established itself as a major carrier of racetrack signals, managing satellite communications in more than 15 casinos in 22 countries. NTI also "packages" telecommunications services, providing satellite time, up linking, production and monitor and control services to radio and television networks, syndicated programmers and corporate, university, energy and advertising industry clients, among others.
NTI has positioned itself to meet the expanded needs of the next generation of communications providers, including Internet access providers, VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) users, broadband voice and data users such as other long distance carriers, banks, telemedicine clients and the wireless/PCS industry.
Specifically, NTI targets the needs of business customers for customized advanced private communications services which have grown too rapidly for existing land-based facilities. NTI believes it is unique in offering a fully integrated package of services, including satellite network design, purchase, installation and maintenance of VSAT equipment, operating licenses for transmission, and network quality monitoring and control.
Presently, communications services are carried over separate facilities such as multiple fiber optic cable interconnects, microwave and coaxial cable. Voice, video and data are presently processed through multiple connections and switches, which often results in a decline in the quality and speed of transmissions, and in many cases the delivery of large bandwidth services is inhibited. Additionally, because of fragmented service links provided by national long distance point-to-point carriers, business customers requiring private line service must often conduct costly and complex negotiations with carriers in each city, state or country. They often encounter conflicting goals and competitive issues which exist between carriers, adding to the cost of such services. NTI provides customers with customized advanced private communications services not met by these existing facilities.

with 42 minutes before close we had 6 MM on the ask, and with 4 mintues to go we only had 2 MM left...could be getting going as the chart is very ripe here....
i would have liked to see .0011 candle form because then the rsi would hit 30, but somebody has definately been accumulating it the past couple of days....
i am glad to see that Frank will not be diluting shares down here...diluting shares at these levels would be diasterous because of how many shares would have to be diluted to create capital...
great news today for any longs...spoke with richard...expect that page to be up with the financials within a week or two...he is going to be running it himself and will make sure the date is correct....
hate to say it, but this week has been very good for the "longs" in Q as some of the short term and weaker hands and even just the traders who didnt want a part of QBID anymore got out...thus giving their shares to stronger hands for the long term....
the reason i believe somebody with big money was accumulating the past couple of days is because we have been sitting at .0011 and .0012 for a couple days...now we see the bid drop to 11 and then 1 MM will raise the bid to 12 by himself and pick up more than 150M in sells....this individuals could easily back his bid up to 11 and maybe pick it up there, but he/she more than likely has an even bigger bid in at 11 and is in the process of what we like to call "accumulation"...
in regards to NTI...i would like to see their financials and why their parent company wants to sell them....if Frank can make 400K a month off this company, this would add just another peice to the puzzle of TMM...lol, as some of you guys may remember, i was confused about what exactly NTI did,,,and honestly, i still am!haha

Have a question?? Is the end of Sept. QBIDs quarterly ending? Reason Im asking is, I read that somewhere and if true, Frankie Boy could be waiting till then. Why release fully reporting info now and have to do it all again in 3 weeks. Comments please.

I don't know if that applies though when filing for the first time.
The four quarters are: Jan-Mar Apr-Jun Jul-Sep Oct-Dec
So it could be they are waiting for the end of September, but that also means the audit would have to be done up to September.
Also Quarterly Reports are due on the third Friday of the month following a quarter.

Nice website with plenty of information. Seems they are well versed with other countries. Could be an International Channel faster than even I thought.

Those are the regular 4 quarters of the year pennies. Does anyone know when Triangle Multimedia's fiscal year end actually is? Maybe September is the year end? Who knows?

some companies take three to six weeks after the quarter ending to file the papers. if the theory is true then...expect it a "few few few" weeks later
