Stockpr o w ler views PLNI as a rare speculative opportunity with 10 bagger potential in the next 3 to 6 months… Strictly our opinion.

Well, all right, that's it for now… place your bets, sit back and relax. Remember, this is speculation not investing and quite often we get rewarded BIG for taking a chance…

Stockpro w ler.com does not receive compensation from companies we profile or from third parties... we never have and never will. We use our own money when we buy stocks, and even though we usually take a position in a stock before we profile a company, our purchases are small relative to the public float so that the effect on the stock price when we buy or sell is minimal. Please read our full disclaimer.

Yeah, Murnak, I was just reading that from over at the RB board. It has to be good that ************ isn't compensated by PLNI for this.

I see their rundown says PLNI is included in the General Services Administration (GSA) catalogue. Anyone know if that's new?

Meaning, I've check out GSA and can't find it. Did you check? Again, I did, and I can't find it. In fairness, it is one, very big entity.

Running, nope. GSA is a huge sprawling agency; I have no idea how to wade through their documentation.

then again....from an rb poster:

quote:
Stock Prowler is a well known PUMP and DUMP group. The stock may go for a two day run then BAM!! The dumping begins. MOST of their picks are trash...like QBID. Some are decent picks but they only pick stocks they can buy, pump and then dump!

On a more positive point: The stock prowler picks usually go up on the next day or two after it's posted. Then it usually drops to it's lowest low.

If Stock Prowler is a pump and dump for their own accounts, they're not very good at it. Must not have a very big following because their last picks for the Fall didn't show signs anyone was listening.

Sept 30, 2005 picks - BRHI, ESNR, QBID, DIMEZ(reiterated from 4/29/05). Currently -25%; -40%; -88%; -21% respectively. Only one had a profitable rally of any significance before the drop, that being DIMEZ up 30% over 2 months from initial april recommendation. Same stock went straight down since reiteration in the Fall. QBID had a small pop before dropping to near nothing. The other two dropped right out the gate from the recommendation.

Their idea of a track record is to show the recommend price and the high since then. How ridiculous. Some of these stocks dropped like rocks, then months later had rallies that no one would likely still be in for. Besides, how often do traders sell the tops? With such a biased methodology and given the volatility in pinks one would think they'd have many 100+% gainers over a year or more time at the tops, but that's not the case. 5 of the 9 stocks they picked in the past year had high trades of from 0% to 14% from the recommended price. Two had big spikes well after the recommendations, but went right back down. IMO, these guys are not the ones to piggy back. Piggy back PLNI's PRs and try to get with(or in front of) VFIN on the way down.

All thier recommendation tells me is there is one more swing trader with shares competing to sell the next rally.

thanks for checking the track record, Stock.

These little picks only amount to short-term spikes anyway. What we need is documented news.

The Arch conference is another red flag, IMO. These are typically companies in need of financing and that often means selling shares to the public(diluting).

The track record of the last 13 companies they featured (from the last 3 conferences) is as follows:

13 companies.

Performance from 5 days before presentation to close on date of presentation: 8 Up, 5 Down. Biggest pre-conference rally was 15%.

Performance from date of conference to close 5 days after conference: 5 Up, 8 Down. Biggest up was 33% by an oil stock that was the only real performer of all the 13 stocks overall. The next biggest gainer was just 7%. Day after activity: 6 up, 7 down or unchanged. Only one sizeable day after trade.

Performance from conference to today: 4 Up, 9 Down. The oil stock was up 111%, the next biggest gainer was 22%.

Bottom line: No obvious long side trading opps based on previous 3 conferences. A couple small pre-conference trading opps for a max 15% gain (before execution costs and width of market considerations).

Ineffectual at best is my guess. Hope to be proved wrong (I say that a lot with this stock). IIRC the last two conferences we had last year did nothing for the pps.

I'm trying to find out how (much) Arch gets paid, whether by stock or cash. Do the attendees also have to pay or possibly paid to attend?

If there is a Q&A portion it would be useful to get a list of attendee names. Perhaps we could get some info by getting the ear of an attendee beforehand and sharing DD in return for some feedback.

Based on previous history its unlikely they will address any of the capital structure issues in the taped conference presentation. Any such questions would likely be in private conversations after the presentation. Remember the "technical difficulties" in their last web conference call, followed by a fluffy info-free informercial.

Plasticon is the ONLY pink I see on the list. My outlook says that's great because they are going to be OTCBB very soon otherwise they wouldn't have been invited.
That's how I'm going to see it....a PLUS!

They presented at another conference about 6 months ago in the same situation. They were the only pink and were listed as OTC BB. Many interpreted that to mean we were going to see the audit and uplist to OTC BB by the time of the conference.

That was the conference where someone reported them discussing a r/s with a questioner. Days later they had to issue PRs emphatically stating they will not r/s. Not exactly the resulting PR they were hoping for.

I bought stock based on hopes for the conference and it was quite costly.

As for being "invited", the criterion is usually pretty loose. I worked for a dot-com in need of funds during to go-go days. One of my jobs was getting our guys in front of the right VCs and into the best conferences. As long as we met the broad theme of the conference all we needed to get an "invite" was to come up with the cash.

From what I can gather, the Arch conferences don't have a targeted theme (like biotech, energy, B2B, etc...) so the criteria can't be that hard to meet.

Well, it's a fact--we were the only unlisted stock, and the conference didn't help our pps (or generate interest from any serious company, evidently).

Just based on past performance, I strongly doubt the conference will help us much. It didn't before, when we didn't quite have the sad track record of 2005. I'm not going out on a limb or saying anything wild by claiming we can benefit only from documented progress as promised, again, in December's last PR. This time promised for January.

Tomorrow it'll be Jan. 10. Bring it on!

On a happier note, 62 million shares isn't bad for this stock on a non-news day, and it was fun watching a little green.

I wasn't at the computer all day long, but while I was, it seemed VFIN spent less time on the Ask than usual lately. Also, who the heck is MAXM?

STOCK,
you are right about the Microcap about six months ago. I then thought that would surely send us to at least .05. It didn't happen,,,I recall some talk of no major brokerage firms interested till they were listed on the OTCBB. I just hope that this gets us one step closer to getting listed and gaining more interest. Since they know they need to be listed in order to attract any large firm, I'm just hoping that they have all ducks in a row now and we are getting a PR about the completed audit.
I always have hope.
I still believe this is a homerun, (correction) GRANDSLAM stock.
I hope I'm right for everyones sake on this thread. GLTA!
