Plasticon International Inc. to Retire 200 Million Shares Wednesday August 24, 8:30 am ET
LEXINGTON, Ky., Aug. 24, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Plasticon International Inc. (Other OTC:PLNI.PK - News) is pleased to announce that their Board has approved the retirement of 200 million shares, the first step in a process designed to decrease the total outstanding shares and increase shareholder value.
``We believe that the retirement of shares will add tremendous value for our shareholders,'' said Jim Turek, President and CEO of Plasticon International. ``This is the first step in a share restructuring process. The restructuring will be reflected in a share price that is more truly representative of the actual value of Plasticon's shares. We firmly believe that this is in the best interests of both our shareholders and the company.''
Mr. Turek added that Plasticon International is committed to a program designed to enhance shareholder value through a comprehensive strategy, starting with this initial retirement. As a part of this restructuring strategy, the Company plans to undertake a buy back program for still additional outstanding shares.
The retirement of 200 million shares is in addition to positive earnings. Plasticon recently announced that it is profitable as of the second quarter in 2005. ``We believe that the retirement of shares will be significant as the first step in a process that should result in a better reflection of the value of Plasticon's shares,'' Mr. Turek concluded.

PLNI's PPS has increased over 400% in the last 90 day's or so. The gains have held strong for the most part with the normal settling after a run.
Chill Plasticonians, even marathon runners need to pace themselves.
In off road racing they have a saying... "Slower is faster"
Slow n steady folks..... patience or take your profits.

The pattern is that low volume allows the pps to leak away. We're at about 6 million after 90 minutes of trading; yesterday we hit 24 million in the first hour.
This says to me that mid & long-term investors still have condidence; day traders, not so much!

Frustrating...share retirement..IBD and we fall. If this was a homeland security stock or software co. it would be at .05. Guess a rebar support doesn't get people to excited. I'll just continue to watch the paint dry.

Not again! Hurry up cold, jump in cold, don't miss the boat cold, etc. How many times do we have to go through this? Nothing is sustainable here. I believe I mentioned it several times already. Until the massive .02 barrier falls, PLNI goes nowhere but down. One wrong move by management and my order will fill fast!

Just remember, we have to get there before we get there. The pps will go up, but not until things happen. Anything sooner is just icing, or a pump and dump .
Ya know, with a stock like this one, it's better to own free shares--so you aren't so tempted to try to swing it. It's starting to remind me of GTE (aka GTEL).

Been in this one for a while and have been nervous about trying to swing it. I thought I was going to this time, but my nervous hands wouldn't allow it. DANG!! I could have really improved my position and maybe even set myself up to ride some freebies.

If you are going to try to swing, just sell part of your position. That way, if you are wrong about the direction of the stock, you don't miss out completely.

I'm not swinging it here, I was burned with IGTN swinging (Well, still %200+ gain, but not the %900+ I could have had ) so I'm hesitant to swing this one too.
