Is this one of those jump out and back in kind of situations? I'm getting greedy looking at the pps today. I've done well, but hope to do better post split. Just curious.

W/O having to read the whole thread, could someone please help me with this hypothetical situation:
If I were to buy 100K shares pre-split at .03 ($3000), how many would I have post-split and what's the price going to be?
Thanks, GHo

G_Ho, if you do the simple math of where the stock is now, you would have 8333K @ .432. But it depends on what the current p/s is at the moment the stock splits.

g_ho, you would have 50K at the same price. If the R/S dosent cause the price to go down!!! Which happens freqently. Alot of people believe it wont. Time will tell.

As someone explained to me once some time ago on this board, reverse mergers are bad typically, because the reasons behind it. For a company having value, a reverse merger will tend to be good. It's the value that drives the pps.

I Thought that it was proper practice to nail down the date of a split in a stock. In such a way that the share holder is aware of the exact time. It makes sense to me. This on or about Sept 28th part is vague. Could have been yesterday. bond or any body, do you have a guess at this.

G_Ho, i'm at southeast Ia in Washington. I see that you are in Desmoine, since you caught my attention.
Regarding the reverse split. I guess i'll take that to mean that it won't happen any sooner than the 28th. I hope that is a safe assumption.

so are most of us in agreement that a purchase prior to the split is a good thing???

A presplit purchase sounds good to me. Theres no gaurantee, but the odds of this stock being worth more later, even after the r/s is feasible. Given the status of the oil market (compare to gold) and the comparison to other oil cos that are already producing oil every day it looks like Nord stands a chance to be very profitable. I'm not pumping this stock. I'm just giving my own observation.

Before Thorn! Guess I could have gotten a bit more of a discount on my return trip in here, but as my ST acount is showing the RS listing I'm guessing that it may happen at the close today! I'm watching the Daily List but no info yet! This could very well be the last shot at this pre split and seeing as they are adding around 350m in assets to it after the split, it looks good to me! I may have to break my day rule and hold this for 2-3 days!

i think the pps drop today is the mm trying to induce some panic selling so they can get some more cheap shares! r/s happens tonight doesn't it?
