Canadian Broadcast Premiere
In the new QueerEdge, we will explore all that defines the word queer. We will dig beneath the surface of pop culture and subculture. The show will be a fast-paced hour that will be hosted by Jack E. Jett and co-hosted by Jackie Enx. QueerEdge will be shot live to tape!
The subjects covered with QueerEdge will be of interest to all members of the GLBT community. In addition to several regular segments, a topic of the day will be included in one segment. We will also explore the world of alternative performance art, off- and off-off-Broadway shows, as well as obscure music, and authors of queer material. QueerEdge will strive to be unique in the content it presents and the way it is presented. As with the title, it will combine all that is queer with all that is edgy.
“My Children Have Four Legs” Hosted by a handsome, gay veterinarian; this bit will focus on proper care for pets.
“Camp Todd Camp” Takes on various films that the GLBT community have embraced for their camp value, and make use the some of the lighter moments in cinema.
“Ritalin Film Festival” Features various video shorts that are either filmed by members of the GLBT community or that are of interest to the GLBT community.
“Surfing with Agoraphobics” We will select various “out there” websites and explore the world of Internet subcultures.
“Get Outta Here” Makes use of the many on-the-road segments that have been shot for On Q Live.
“Special Guest” Each show will have one very special and unique guest that will be used in at least one segment and possibly two.
“Fun with Hypocrisy” A weekly bit, hosted and written by Jackie Enx, which will focus on the over-the-top hypocrites in religion, right-wing politics, and the Bush man himself.
“Bisexual Porn Review” A bi-weekly segment in which bisexual writer, Duane Jones, will review some adult films for the GLBT community. The focus will be not only on the sex scenes but to critique the acting.
“Blogging as Fast as I Can” Consists of a conversation between Jackie Enx and Jack E. Jett, as excerpts from some of the more controversial blogs are read.
“History 101” This will be an update on celebrity (pop and obscure) birthdays, and events of interest to the GLBT community. It will be a semi-expanded version of the current bit that Jackie does from the shack.
“Sublime to Subliminal” “Sublime to Subliminal” is the name for the opening comments made by Jack E. Jett at the very beginning of each show.
“Gay Games Body Builder Update” A brief, bi-weekly bit that will focus on some local body builder that is going to be attending the gay games. We will concentrate on his diet, as well as his thighs and biceps.
“Absurd State News” Hosted by a female comedian, it will feature totally made-up news that will be a cross between the Weekly World News and the National Enquirer. It will be done as serious news.
“Hunks on Film, Two Minutes Later” This segment utilizes EPK’s provided by the studios that contain sound bites from hunky actors, or those portraying gay characters, as well as a review of said movie from gay pop-culture writer, Arnold Wayne Jones.

Found this post on IHUB about a negative review of "On Q Live" on www . imdb . com. Since it was posted, a second, positive review was left. This got me thinking that if any of you have seen any of these shows, it might be a good idea to register and leave positive reviews of the shows. IMDB is a great website that I use all the time for movie information, so I assume that alot of other people use it too. Just a thought...

A CONTRARIAN "ON Q LIVE" REVIEW FROM IMDB
(since objectivity is lacking from our only Q viewers here)
This show is a disgrace to television as well as homosexuality, 2 July 2005 Author: Creative from Dallas, Tx
As a member of the gay community as well as a veteran of TV and film with over 15 years of production experience, I was initially very excited to hear about Q Live and the Network (especially since it was produced locally). When I found out that I couldn't even see the show (not even with satellite) in TX, I was a little confused. Why would they produce a show somewhere that people couldn't even see it. Upon actually seeing it, I understood why. I had a friend from NY send me tapes of the show, and I must say that I'm EXTREMELY disappointed. Actually disappointed doesn't quite sum it up. I was INSULTED...and I can't even decide if I'm more insulted as a homosexual or a production professional. Not only is every aspect of this show done with less production value than some of the local cable access shows and high school A/V programs (they couldn't get through a segment without countless production flaws), but the content couldn't be worse. This show neither entertains NOR informs. It does nothing other than spend a ridiculous 2.5 hours perpetuating gay and lesbian stereotypes in a boring, tasteless, and unintelligent manner. You would think that a show this shallow would at least have some eye-candy as hosts, but they're almost as hideous to look at as they are unbearable to listen to. Taffett is incapable of developing an original thought of his own, while Eastwood's abrasive and pseudo-intellectual lesbian tirades make for some of the worst television I've seen in years. I felt like I was getting "stupider" watching this show...and then to find out that the GLBT community is expected to PAY A MONTHLY FEE to see this network centerpiece!...Well Q, you must think we are pretty stupid and desperate. I know a great number of gays and lesbians that have worked hard to produce quality programming. This show gives a bad name to us and all that we have accomplished. After watching this show, viewers will want their money AND the 2 and a half hours of their lives back. It's almost enough to make me want to go straight!
On Q Live is a refreshing, entertaining, funny and thought provoking show on all things gay..., 27 July 2005 Author: George Ellis from New York, United States
I have to say I completely disagree with the previous review. I watch On Q Live most nights, and although the production quality was a little iffy early on, its now seamless, and very professional. Doing 2.5 hours of live programming every night is no easy feat. Believe me, I have worked in the entertainment industry and i know how much work and prep has to be done for something like this, and to pull it off in the professional manner that these people continue to do on a daily basis is nothing short of incredible. The hosts, Chrisanne, jack, Cassian etc really keep the pace moving along with sometimes hilarious views and opinions on whatever is happening right now in gaydom! This truly deserves to be the flagship show on Q Television, and sits amongst many other great shows. I cant think of any other place where anyone from the GLBT community is as well served. It is about time our voice was heard, and listened to and WATCHED, and that time is now.

Can someone please help me in understanding just how many is a realistic number of shares to buy of this stock?
Taking into account the commisions at each end (Ameritrade $10.99)and tax if it goes up. There is also the question of the more you buy if it goes down you still have fees plus loss according to the shares you own.
I fully understand you don't buy if you can't afford it and there are no certainties. But when I see 30,000 shares aready making a very small profit??????????? and then people saying they own 2.95 million???????????? Of which I am sure was not one purchase, so there are many commisions to take into account on such large numbers. I am left wondering what is realist, Or is this all BS? produced by Wannabee's and pumpers and dumper's.
Thanks

I am not sure if anyone actually read my portion of that post? I suggested that anyone who subscribes to Q go to IMBDs website and leave positive reviews about Qs shows. You can find all of them by simply typing in the name of the show in the search field. I don't know what agenda I supposedly fell for suzi, and I know we can't please everyone Doc, I was just hoping since this website is a GREAT source for getting reviews of television shows and movies that it might be a good (or GREAT) idea to get on there and add some real positive reviews. Sorry I wasn't clear the first time around.

Oh sorry with the amount of share trading, What are the chances of a forward split? and if a forward happens anyone want to guess on the ratio. It will afterall make a difference on the number purchased.
Thanks again

There is zero chance of a forward split, as that would increase the o/s count. What you are probably talking about is a reverse split, in which case you should look over the last 8 - 10 pages of posts to get a feel as to how stockholders would respond to a r/s. To sum it up quickly, no one wants a r/s due to the fact that the percentages are against the stock price rising after that.

Froggy, I would love to help you out here, but I am having a hard time understanding you last 2 posts. The 10.99 commission applies to 1 trade. I have purchased over 2 million shares in ONE trade, meaning I was only charged commission once for those 2 mil shares.
I hope this help.

Also, it is my assumption that sputnik, or someone of his "caliber," went to IMDB themselves, never seeing "On Q Live," and posting negatively just to give Q a bad image. Another reason I am suggesting people leave positive posts on IMDB. It can only help our investment.

The 10.99 commission is for each individual ORDER, buy or sell. I think thats what you are saying, but clarifying just incase. If you place an order to buy 2 million share (assuming it is an All Or Non order) and it goes throughm you ONLY pay 10.99. Again, I believe this is what you are saying, but just wanted to clarify incase you were thinking something else.
quote:Originally posted by froggy: Thanks Polo You answered fine yes I did mean R/S. And 10.99 is for the trade regardless of how many, Same at the sale end!
Thanks again.
