i really do think the MMs are in trouble on this one -- if we hit 1b traded, its safe to assume that at lesat 900+ million of those were buys, and any other stock this thing woulda soared hundreds of percents on that kind of buying pressure.
however, i think that it is possible that the MMs are holding this down so they can cover their positions. it makes sense. anyone else have an opinion?

You obviously have nothing better to do if you. Are still here posting crap about a stock that you don't care about. We know you don't give e shiits about us. As if you did you would not have played the multiple IDs game with us. Loser

1 big PR, this month, next month, its going to be huge, I heard, look at this post, that post...Give me a freakin break! The only ones that know about Q is the ones reading the posts. Thats all.
I've heard all this for well over a year now, in fact 16 months to be exact. A stock doesn't go from .0001 to .028 and then back down to .0018 because it's a healthy stock or a "real" company. It does it because it's a pink sheet stock and it's worth absolutley nothing.
I love seeing people make money and it kills me to know they are waiting for this to move.

I agree...why call Cox? Unless it is to confirm for sure this is a deal for national coverage, which I know we had an IHUB post confirming that, but it wouldn't hurt to reconfirm.

this will more than likely create the long term uptrend...breaking .0023 would technically set us up for the long term trend...
another thing is because it has not/or will not be PR'd on the wires so traders will recieve this news at different times...i am not worried about the pps movin slowly up, becuase as long as we get audited finanicals and subsriber rates, the pps moves to the median!!!
subscriber rates could very well triple because of this news because before we were in 4 cities, now were NATIONWIDE!!!

No national PR needed after tonight and Frank spills the beans in person.
Hang in there guys, this is what we have been begging for for a long frickn time!
And yes, I have said many times I believe the audit was completed and handed to our lawyers and that information is what has spurred a lot of the changes and activities we have seen lately. This is just another BIG feather in that cap.
Frank's playing clean up so we can soon!

A new development has occurred in the GLBT community whereby Cox Cable will carry upstart channel Q Television starting in Fall 2005. Officials at Cox have declined to comment, except to say that they are delighted to have Q on board to reach the GLBT community from coast to coast.
Q Television, which has secured the Gay Games VII in Chicago, as well as announcing a new fall line-up, has partnered with Cox in the successful leasing of a production facility in nearby Burbank.
Quoting an unnamed source, Cox indicated that the income and revenue stream would be "enormous."

I think that now my estimate of 100,000 subscribers by the time of the games might be conservative. But at the very least it would appear that our conjecture is very realistic. .............................................................................
Consider this!
The bad news first!
Lets take a look at what some would see as worst case scenario. Lets say we see a published audit with 20 or even 25 billion shares out there. I for one am almost sure that's a very high guess. But for the sake of argument lets say it's 25 billion.
Buy next year the games get coverage, we don't even show a profit yet but revenues will have spiked from the games & a modest 100,000 subscriptions which will be growing at a respectable pace. If that holds up QBID will have already surpassed the value of BET when it was sold. Say Frank lets this thing go at 3 billion dollars.
Three billion dollars makes 25 billion shares worth .12 a share!
What if the audit is really bad, 50 billion shares? You're still looking at SIX CENTS A SHARE! I can't speak for anyone else here but if I'm getting paid SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS for every two grand I plunk down today I won't cry for any more than a minute.
Now for the good news!
Lets say the audit shows 10 billion shares outstanding (which I still believe is a high estimate) & everything else I said still holds up. First thing I can tell you, if that's the case, frank will not be letting this go for three billion. But say he does. Now we're looking at a FLAT VALUE OF THIRTYTRHEE CENTS A SHARE!
I'm not done!
The reason Frank is having a professional audit done is to provide suitors with a clean bill of health for QBID. Moving to another exchange will be a fringe benefit that will make the product shine a little more.
Remember the PR about reducing its Tradable Stock by Fifty-Three Percent?
"We converted QBID shares into preferred stock, eliminating fifty-three percent of the tradable outstanding shares. We are confident this will strengthen the demand for our stock, and dry up the supply of trading shares that we feel are being manipulated in the market," said Olsen. "Converting our common stock into preferred stock will allow us to retain voting rights, but will also squeeze out the large short position in the stock. Q Television will continue to be as aggressive as possible, and do everything necessary to ensure our shareholders are treated fairly." .....................................................................
This isn't about manipulation! Frank doesn't give a $h!t about MMs. Well maybe a little bit but this was about polishing the product.
Frank's not trying to take 53% of three billion dollars. His major concern was absolute control over his company. Frank will be more than happy with a couple hundred million bucks. Again, this was another move not to scare off potential suiters. Hold that thought!
Personally I like Frank having complete control. Let's just pretend that that Frank, you know, the same Frank that has already sold a profitable media enterprise to Sumner Redstone. Lets just pretend he really wants this thing to be sold & actually kept the share count at or around 4 billion outstanding or less & lets pretend we're even close to actually reporting a profit by the end of the second quarter of 2006.
He will sell! He will sell while he has the attention of major players! And it will not be for three billion dollars! Now you're looking at a bare minimum of 5 billion dollars Maybe as much as 7 billion. If QBID actually showing a profit & we're getting international attention in 40 countries you could even make an argument for,,,,use your imagination!!!!
The hell with it! I'll stay with 5 billion dollars. Factor in Frank's 53% controlling interest which has now been reduced to a handfull of super voting shares & we're starting to see the big picture.
FIVE BILLION DOLLARS & FOUR BILLION SHARES!
This will not come as a huge surprise to me because Genuine Broadcasting National TV Networks do not trade for less than a dollar a share.
I've said it many times. I will not begin to liquidate my core position until I see $1.25 a share!

1) "Q Television ......... has partnered with Cox in the successful leasing of a production facility in nearby Burbank."
~ If I read this correctly , is Frank a shrewd dude or what ? Buy/own the name of the company , the gear and man the booth , and share the lease/burnrate . Schweet . Note; I like the fact that Frank kept the Media City tag . That may/should keep a lot of the past clientele in the stable .
2) ".... they are delighted to have Q on board to reach the GLBT community from coast to coast."
~ COAST TO COAST ! The door has been breached . The dominoes will fall .
I hate to be overboard but , like whiznok has said , "All we had to do was launch" , I have been saying , "All we need is carriage" . I think we're well on our way with this progress .

I just spoke to Richard...
1. Cox coverage is "NATIONAL"!
2. He thinks it will be available as soon as some time in September.
3. According to Rich...Cox does not allow press releases for the "wires". They did allow notifying investors via email and our website.
4. He does expect the "Trades" to pick it up and run with it.
5. As soon as he gets more info...it will be put up on the website...in fact...maybe later today...he has conference calls set up for today.
