Has anyone click on the Italian company? services for the European market, have a branch in Italy and a strong partnership for the Italian Market with Bitmovers srl(www.bitmovers.it)

I have and they do exist, it has a decent website and do alot of Software and computer related services. Has Microsoft as a partner for ISP.

If you go to their website and see partners it has FIRSTBACK as their backup on line partner.

link below for FIRSTBACKUP.. if you check partners under for FIRSTBACK website there is no ticker symbol and no partners with bitmovers.it.

That leads me to believe FIRSTBACK lost it's partnership with the Italian company, which becomes a stronger indication of why HP went with SPAREBACK (NWPO) software. As I said I have tested the software and it's easy and no other company that does backup on-line had made it so easy..easy for the user. Lots of competition but quality and easyness sells, especially when it comes to technology.

Expect more and more PR news on deals and partnerships as I had stated before.

Congrats on those that were strong enough to hang in there and for those that bought on the huge dip.

By the way the FIRSTBACK company has partners all over the world, to include UK and Africa so it will be a matter of time before those PR news come out proving SPAREBACKUP is worldwide.

Tonight I will download the FIRSTBACK version and compare and I will give an honest evaluation.

Also, I sent an e-mail to the Italian partner asking when will spareback come on-line. My wife speaks Italian and I have learned some, plus I speak Spanish and it's similar.

Will keep all posted.

I remember reading that Spare will be available in other languages fourth quarter of 2005 I believe? I could be off, but it was definitely noted in an article I read the past couple days...

Wow, it is going international. With the big boys selling this too.

I have raised my long and sell point to $10. It may take a while, but I don't see that as out of the question. [Big Grin]

Hey you notice how they have been having different nationalities on the home page. Every other visit it's a different nationality. I wonder if China is next.
Has anyone emailed TomsHardware.com yet about a review of the company and service? I am going to tonight, it won't be long now.

I think it is pretty safe to say that NWPO is here to stay
so buy buy buy away [Big Grin] [Wink]

A newbie question?

When you guys were saying that NITE was buying again, how do you guys know it's NITE? is there some place that shows the purchasing party or is it just guess work because of the volume?

From Level II quotes. Level II helps you track the mm's and gives you an idea where the trading is going intraday.

Everyone keeps hanging their hats on the "Dell announcement"... while that would be GREAT, I just want to say that it really does not matter if this company ever makes a deal with Dell.

So far:

- They have an affordable product that meets a serious need.
- They are announcing partnerships almost every day! Stop and think about this... this means they have feet on the street! They have people out there busting their butts to make these deals! Believe me when I tell you that it is NOT easy to convince HP that you have a worhtwhile product.
- If the demand for this product grows... there is no way that the Best Buys of the world don't pick this up.

The MM's can only do their manipulation for so long before the success of this company is shown in it's stock prices.

We will know this company has truely made it when we see teh TV ad on the air! :-)

Well said Jerm. I think WE all know how capable Spare Backup is of expansion, but again I feel like PPS is a reflection of speculation, hype, and exposure.

Dell, being the computer giant it is, releasing this news would bring us all to our goal quicker. Regardless though I agree with everything you said and in the long run we will be fine regardless.

By the way - not sure if you saw it, but they have a TV ad on their site sparebackup.com. If that ever airs, like you said, the ride will be really fun!

Pens, my first buy on this was .50 and own 15000 shares with four buys with an average of 1.08. I road the storm and did not sell on either of the two drops in recent history .75 dip & the .91 panic sell off yesterday. If remember correctly from previous post of yours that you have accumulated like myself.

My question to you is how low were you willing to take NWPO before you hit the sell button? I know that you believe in this company as much as I do.

PS. I know you from your penny land when you have the extra 0 in front of your purchase prices

you are correct it's .72, wow I would be out and rich if I had bought at .072. It's .72 cents.

I'll be honest I wish I had the time and money to be a day trader. But I had a sale at .80 if it had drop much on this last drop.

As you say I believe very much in the PRODUCT (not sure of company yet) too many rumors on CEO and that FAX issue. The product is awesome and esy to use, and like many of us have said, in HIGH DEMAND and NEED. Easy to sale worldwide due to our fast internet worldwide. With today's speeds no need yet to open server rooms in other parts of the world. The current locations of the servers in Ohio and Arizona is sufficient to support the initial users.

Ansious to see an ad from CompUsa and HP. I'm sure NWPO will release when the product is sold by both.

Any expectation or guesses if we will have a PR release tomorrow.

As promised and actually someone responds to my e-mails. Received response from the company in Italy, from today's PR announcement. At least the Italians are 24 hours operation. Short translation is that the spare backup will be operational August 23rd.

Come on Africa, Asia and more Europe... What about DELL, would that make it GLOBAL>>>>>>>>

Pens,

In falling market conditions--

I can only sell at market or limit with Ameritrade with(.OB Stocks)

In a buying market---

I can only buy at limit on (.OB Stocks)
with Ameritrade.

My question to you how are you able to sell on a falling market with a sell order of .80?

"But I had a sale at .80 if it had drop much on this last drop"

Pens, great DD as usual.
Darkhawk, very good read on the article. Check this out from it, your thoughts, everyone?:

quote:
HP quiet on the details
Meanwhile, there has been some confusion regarding the announcement of the deal with HP, which was published on Business Wire Tuesday morning by Newport but retracted the same day.

According to the retracted press release, HP has agreed "to resell Spare Backup Inc.'s fully-automated online backup service directly through its Web site as early as next month."

The release also stated that "Two months of free service will also be provided as a special promotion to customers who purchase selected hardware and peripherals through the HP site … HP will offer discounted plans of six-months, one-year and two-years prepaid service."

An HP public relations official said in an e-mail that the release from Newport "incorrectly characterizes HP's relationship with Spare Backup" but declined to elaborate on the actual nature of the deal or give a time frame as to when a press release from HP could be expected.

According to Newport's CEO, Cery Perle, he personally brokered a resell deal with Adam Shoemaker in HP's software licensing and management solutions department within the last several weeks. He said Spare Backup finally inked a deal after negotiating with several HP departments.

Shoemaker could not be reached for comment, but colleague, Troy Nick, confirmed that HP has "a relationship" with Spare Backup, but said its press release "was a little premature."

Good morning guys and gals, I'm just now going to bed, I'm on Pacific time. I emailed tomshardware.com asking for a product review and evauluation, I'll keep you up to date on that. But I have been looking over the chart and honestly I see alot sell indicators. I think the MM's are going to try to bring this down today, volume was real weak yesterday, and if you all would have sold when it was coming down off that surge in the am that we would see a much lower price at open.
I'm just saying that I believe NWPO isn't ready to hit it's high. Hold if you will, I'm looking for a low entry point today to fill up, I bought yesterday $1.15 and sold yesterday at $1.18 when it was a push/shove match between NITE and SHAB. But for all you current holders in the red, I hope for your sakes that it sky rockets today, if it doesnt today, don't worry, it will. Thanks for every players DD thus far, see ya back in a few hours. (This thread will hit 100 pages today)

Wall Street News Alert: Early Morning Stock Alert!

By M2
Last Update: 8/5/2005 3:26:59 AM Data provided by

Weston, FLA., Aug 05, 2005 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Wall Street News Alert's "stocks to watch" this morning are: Newport International (NWPO), Applied Materials (AMAT), Human Genome Sciences (HGSI), Markland Technologies (MRKL) and Corning Incorporated (GLW).

Once again, Newport International Group (NWPO) should be appearing on the radar screen of aggressive investors and day traders! Yesterday after the stock markets closed, the company has issued a press release announcing that its Spare Backup Inc. subsidiary has signed, yet another new channel partner for the company's fully-automated online backup service.

News of another new relationship should be welcomed by investors, as the company continues to announce new agreements which could significantly garner exposure for its products! The newest partner, TNTtel Inc. will initiate Spare Backup's introduction into Italy and the European market's helping Spare Backup implementation of their global distribution strategy.

An emerging player in online backup for small businesses and home office users, Spare Backup Inc. signed the agreement with TNTtel Inc., a US company with extensive experience in localization of web based products and services for the European market with local partners in every country.

Continue to watch this company! "TNTtel Inc. has a proven record of success with other web based products such as InterFax, Sapienter (through his Italian partner Bitmovers srl), SWsoft and others in the European marketplace. We believe that our new relationship with TNTtel Inc. and their current customer base will quickly generate Spare Backup customers and profit," said Cery Perle, Chief Executive Officer of Newport.

Investors should continue to monitor the progress of Newport International for further developments! Newport has been on a roll, announcing multiple deals! Among the company's recent news:

-Hewlett-Packard, one of the world's largest personal computer manufacturers, announced that it intends to resell Spare Backup Inc.'s fully automated online backup service directly through its Web site as early as next month.

-A second purchase order from CompUSA, one of the nation's leading retailers with 246 locations. CompUSA is a reseller of computer-related products and services for the company's Spare Backup online service.

-The signing of multiple new channel partners, one of which will expand the company into Australia.

For updated in-depth coverage and a company profile of Newport International, visit http://www.backissuesofnewsalerts.us/NWPO0804.html The stock closed yesterday at $1.16 a share.

In case you are not familiar with the companies: Spare Backup Inc., a subsidiary of Newport International Group, is the developer of Spare Backup service, the first totally automated online backup service specifically designed for small business and home office users that selects, secures and stores files all by itself.

Newport International Group is dedicated to leveling the digital playing field for small- and medium-sized companies. Its two subsidiaries provide digital tools and services that are as powerful as those available to large enterprises, but are designed and developed so that technical skills aren't needed to use or manage them. The company has headquarters in Palm Desert, with technology development in Phoenix. The company's website is www.nwpo.biz.

Light, sweet crude for September delivery rose 24 cents to $61.10 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange," Stated Sonja Rudd in Wall Street News Alert's daily commentary continued at: http://www.***********************.

Good Morning all [Confused]

WARNING: Do not give your email to anyone on this board. The e-mail I received from BITMOVERS.IT is nor real, I received another e-mail this morning, by BITMOVERS.IT claiming that they have never written to me, so disregard what I posted yesteday.

I should have known, I have received so much e-mail from many users telling me to get out to buy more, new deals are been signed, have you heard of this about NWPO and many other things.

Now I don't know what is real.

I feel bad for falling for what people say and e-mail me. I will not post any other e-mails I received since that's a personal e-mail, but most of all I CAN'T VERIFY THE USER. The e-mail I receive yesterday it's missing an "s",.

So my apologies to the real BITMOVERS.

To those that are e-mailing me, please stop I will not write or post anything about your e-mails.

I will only trust what is released on the official news releases.

I have posted before from other stocks and had never received so many private messages and e-mail, except for NWPO.

I will leave the DD to all of you.

for those day traders out there though, dont take what i am saying as any more than just my 2 cents because im not day trading

This is interesting...can only be a positive for NWPO:

America Online Inc. announced its purchase of privately held Santa Monica, Calif.-based Xdrive Inc., which offers online storage and backup services.

With this acquisition, AOL seeks to provide to its subscribers remote media storage and backup similar to Apple Computer Inc.'s .Mac feature.

The terms of the purchase were not made public.

According Nicholas Graham, a spokesperson for AOL, there will be no reductions in Xdrive staff or management, which will report to AOL through that company's Digital Services business unit.

Xdrive will also remain in its current offices, though Graham said that the company will "probably" move into existing AOL offices in Santa Monica at some point.

Graham said that current Xdrive subscribers will see their contracts with Xdrive honored.

"The existing service will be maintained," Graham said. He added that Xdrive customers will not have to become AOL subscribers to use the service.

"We're working to seamlessly merge the technology of Xdrive with the storage offerings of AOL," Graham said.

However, Graham said that he could not comment on whether existing AOL customers will be able to use the integrated Xdrive services for free, or whether they will be a for-fee premium feature.

In addition to Apple's .Mac service, Graham noted other competitors in the online storage market.

Google and Yahoo offer online file storage, the former through its Gmail service and the latter adding its Briefcase feature; Graham also pointed to Streamload Inc. and Pro-Softnet Corp.'s IBackup.

However, he said, the current acquisition would merge AOL's strong infrastructure and customer service with Xdrive's solutions.

In the last year, Xdrive announced with national retailer CompUSA and a service allowing for streaming of music files stored on Xdrive's servers to a user's cell phone or PDA.

Thanks Eric,

About the article I posted, I think it's very positive, even though a PR person from HP said that the PR from Newport "incorrectly characterizes HP's relationship with Spare Backup" and that Troy Nick, said its press release "was a little premature".

Troy Nick also confirmed that HP has "a relationship" with Spare Backup and according to the author, "there are strong indicators that the release was at least mostly accurate" and she states why in the article. And a senior analyst said that even though HP has it's own product, it is not as good as Spare Backup, which is a great news for the product in itself.

I'm sure the L2s will change a lot this morning, but SCHB just jumped back to $1.30. Just a comment. Don't read too much into it.
