i entertained the idea of selling at this point and waiting for a dip, but am going to wait on FROGSTER to see if PR is brewing or not.
secondly, i feel that a lot of these dips would be hard to get fills in. aside from monday the dips have been very quick and short, giving me the idea that they are mm/institutional purchases.
lastly, i am trading without margin so until the final news on dell is released and that cashes in i am staying put.
just my newbie 2 cents
by the way, i know people are getting emotional over this BS - but anyone mind telling me wat MOMO stands for, its been bugging me for a little and i have just been making up what i think it is. thanks

I'll give you all my two cents.... read some of my previous post on this thread....
Yes, it's going to be a matter of time before we see a dip, maybe a big dip.
1) However look at the A/S and O/S of this company, you will see is very low. Gives lots of room to support a high price on the per share.
2) Look at the company's product. I have been doing a research on backup software and on-line backups, and it's one the fastest and most needed computer utilities/products.
3) The need for remote back-up will increase as more users start loosing digital photos, mp3's, personal data and small businesses see this is a perfect fit for their needs.
4) The continous threat of one day a big internet virus that crashes thousands of computers.
5) How many of you do this at home or work? a) back-up your work data? Do your admins do an adequate job? b) back-up your data at home? c) scan your computer for viruses? update your anti-virus program on a regular basis? Defragment your hard drive on a regular basis?
If you don't do all three of the above on a regular basis, your computer is at risk of one day crashing. I don't know exact numbers, but from experienced I'll tell you the percentage of people that don't do all 3 of the above is very high, I would say 80%.
That is why I see this product will become a top seller. There are others out there, but none were good enough to make a dela with HP. Man, if the deal with DELL is announced, that proves how good this software must be, and it also shows that the biggest computer makers see the need for this type of software.
It's true MM's will do their thing and drop the price, get rid of the weak players. I see this company as a long future. Of course it will peak and settle then it will do the normal dips and peaks.
I'll tell you at least on my part of why I won't risk playing a daily game.
1) Product is just coming out to the market, Dell deal and many other PR's with other vendors and websites that will offer this product, magazines, tv commercials and radio.
2) If you look at most stocks summer is a slow time, share prices are typically down, September you see a big climb all the way until January.
3) The company's share price used to be $30 dollars a few years back, I personally see that as the estimated value of the product line compare to the competition. So a $10 share price by Thanksgiving is possible in my eyes.
4) As long as the company doesn't do anything illegal or stop upgrading and gets satisfied with what they got, this is a keeper for a while, then I cash out and find another penny GEM, but for now this one has a long way to go.
The volume will take care of the price, so as you can see the volume is increasing and as more PR news and Financial companies send their stock watch warning this is just starting. Imagine what more publicity than a deal "possible" with BestBuy and DELL.
The bottom line... IT'S YOUR MONEY... play it the way you seem fit, do your own DD and beware of the manipulators MM's.

Hey all,
Current Price: $0.50
NWPO, Newport International Group Inc, is about to sign a deal with Office Depot for supplies. The volume has started to pick up slightly today on a small leakage of the news. This stock will go to $3 per share by this time next week... Get on now before it's too late... You'll thank me later, trust me! Don't be afraid by low volume... You'll triple your $ easily in a couple of days! News will be out anytime! GO NWPO Go!
I know typical first post of a thread right, well little did we know this was a hidden gem. I read it moments after it came out but thought I had plenty of time to do some DD, this was at 10:45 am. Those who were quick to get in were mostly around .54, good for them, I imagine they are very happy right now!
Let’s take a moment to analyze this:
“About to sign a deal with Office Depot”, ----- Rumor of a deal but still no press release. “Small leakage of the news”, -------- Leakage means reality of actual negotiations No? “Go to $3 per share by this time next week” --- Didn’t happen, just a bit ambitious is all. “Triple your $ easily” ----- Right on the money, those who got in at .50 have done so. “News will be out anytime!” ---- More than you could expect from most stocks!
Another future deal announced by Frogster at 12:25…

just wanted to bring this up to the front (today)
Newport International Group's Spare Backup Subsidiary to Unveil Upgraded Service and Expanded Strategy
Jul 28, 2005 4:32:00 PM PALM DESERT, Calif., July 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Spare Backup Inc., a subsidiary of Newport International Group (OTC Bulletin Board: NWPO), announced today a dramatic upgrade to the company's online backup service that improves functionality and sets the stage for offering value-added services.
First available in May 2005, the Spare Backup service is an emerging leader in online backup for small office and home office users. Spare is distinguished by its ability to select, secure and store files online, all by itself, requiring no user interaction whatsoever. Backups are planned and implemented automatically over the user's high-speed Internet connection.
The upgrades to the Spare Backup service include:
* Faster automatic selection of files to backup * Smoother backup transmissions * Virus scanning of all backup files * Manual backup option for users wanting a local copy of their backups in addition to their stored, online files The service, which comes with 5 gigabytes of secure remote storage, will remain $15.99 with no additional charge for these enhancements.
"What makes the Spare Backup service unique is that we moved the responsibility for backing up off the shoulders of the user and onto the computer. With this upgrade, Spare Backup does even more for the user, without the user having to do more," said Cery Perle, CEO of Newport International.
"In addition," Perle continued, "the Spare Backup service, with this upgrade, becomes a platform for value-added services beyond file backup. For example, Spare Backup customers will soon have the opportunity to sync files between two computers in two different locations."
The upgraded Spare Backup service is scheduled to launch August 1 and will be available for a 14-day free trial at www.sparebackup.com and through the company's reseller partners, including Hewlett-Packard and CompUSA (available on shelves nationwide in late August).

Good morning all... I just read the last 3 pages to catch up on stuff... Anyone that sells and is waiting for a dip is ridiculous. This stock is going to the moon before it's slows down at all. It's funny how I am reading about how people want to sell a %, etc... It's almost like saying "here I don't want more money, let me take some out now"... Yes, I know people like to protect their investment, etc, etc... but this stock is just going to go through the ROOF...
The Dell news is not far off... Trust me on that...
I'll be around this morning! Looks like we'll have a good start... If you get out now.. You ain't gettin in below $1.65 today....or forever!
