Thanks MRGR8AVILL, I was only trying to provide facts and they did not like that. If they would of listened they could of saved about 80% before it tanked.

Sometimes it's better not to try to help. It usually gets taken the wrong way and you either get called a basher or a pumper. No way to win.

there is an old saying you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink and it is very true. anyway if you try to help them when it tanks they well hate you anyway for warning them makes no sense but it is true glta

Well THAT was a crappy close! But 33% of average volume ain't jack nadda. I have a feeling that next week will bring some good news. They have to know by now that our floor is preety well established at 14 until they do something, so IF they are dicking around for any kind of buyback then now's the time.

Have a great weekend y'all!
i believe the abundant funds in the highway bill will definitely translate into more demand for Plasticon products and therefore more acquisitions. PLNI can't get any lower than 1.4 . THose who hold long will reap the benefits ahead of us. Patience is key.

I wish it were a floor. It's a pivot point, my definition of pivot being "it will fly dramatically one way or the other." Long-term, PLNI will be fine. The mid and short term are another matter. Without hard news soon, PLNI will collapse through current thin-ice non-floors and stay there for months.

Quite right, State -- my bad. I am just glad there is some buying support at that level. The low volume has been encouraging in these swings from 14 to 15.
As to hard news, I really think that they know they need to get on the ball, and I really think that several strong releases are in the game plan over the next few weeks. I feel you on the short and mid-term. But I also wouldn't want to yank my POS and play elsewhere.
IMO, the pivot will likely be tested hard next week. I would be willing to offer a side wager that if we don't start getting some PRs by late next week, we might see some frustrated selling.
But, on the other hand, we were concerned about that come the first of the month, and it still hasn't happened.
I sit here looking from one hand to the other so much I get dizzy, but that long-term outlook is what is just so damn encouraging.
My guess is that we get something about Semco (soft) and retirement/buyback next week. I am hoping for contract announcements, but I would bet that would happen the next week.
Then the audit
Then more contracts
Then the rebar
Then a major sign contract
Then Promold
Then OTC
Then more contracts
Then we have enough moeny to lobby congress to mandate the use of recycled products in all Class C building materials
Then NYSE/DJIA
Then we buy Microsoft to diversify our product base.
Then we buy a medium-sized island in the Bahamas for exclusive use of the shareholders.
Oops -- am I "pumping" again? I really should stop fantasizing in public

State I hope you are wrong. I think many people have bought this at over .01 and believe that PLNI is strong. It would amaze me if people started bailing out of something this good. How many people have you read on here saying this is one pink I'm holding on to. Just my opinion but I sure hope you are wrong. I bought PLNI at .04 last year and it wasn't near as big as now. I'm looking for this to be very big long term and I sure hope it holds short term. If it was at .45 a year & a half ago....my pea brain thinking is it will get that high again if not more.

We really don't disagree. It is defintely encouraging (to me, stupendous) that the pps has hovered in this range for so long given missed deadlines and a series of soft no-news prs that, if they continue, will do more harm than good. The fact is you're right, it is a floor; I can see you understand that my point was only that it's a very short-term floor unless something happens soon.
DQ, I hear ya, let's just say IMHO patience is not a common virtue, least of all in pink stocks!

That floor your referring to is a piece of paneling with no joists underneath! Just one more strike against Jim Turek(which I believe is coming) and its "game-over". The risk/reward isn't even justified anymore! I really think ya'all been had!

You guys keep bringing up rebar...I know they make all kinds of rebar support.. I also understand there is NO plastic rebar..what are you guys talking about and where did you get the idea that they are making plastic rebar?

George, plastic rebar is a product-in-testing. Some think it may affect the bottom line soon. Doubtful, as they will go through as many hoops getting DOT/etc rating as they did with supports. But, yeah, genuine product-in-testing.
Not the first-of-kind, either. I posted a long time ago about a company that's got something similar...
I do, however, expect plni's product to be superior once through the lab, acredited, proven. My biggest gripe about the company? They act like no one has anything close. I do believe they're the leaders...

Hey!! Looks like someone accessed and found some good info inside of the PLNI Business Plan. Some have really been going on about items number 4 & 5 (below). If this is true then I can wait from now until WHENEVER for that little audit report. We're going to be rewarded!! Tell me what you think.
Re: PLNI; P.89:
"NEW DEVELOPMENTS 1) BlueLinx (Georgia Pacific) has requested an increase of product delivery from 4 trailer loads per month to 8 trailer loads per month. Georgia Pacific has expressed a very strong interest in distributing this product. 3) R&S Manufacturing, one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of posttension construction cable in the U.S.has placed a half million dollar order for rebar supports from Plasticon. No joke actually. Someone had the passkey to view the BPlan and shared it!! PLNI has since disabled the link, but the cat may be out of the bag. I'm trying to verify this info now.

no, not confuse...ummm, "mollify" .... maybe?
I dunno--just strikes me the timing...
Matt/Apple comes on board after helping HISC get its run together, next thing you know folks are downloading the biz plan. I mean, you don't "accidentally" post something--it's not like unintentionally leaving a copy on the desk...
Logically? Simply because one event precedes another does not show cause/effect...but the timing is, shall we say, fortuitous, yes?
