I am going to try and call in a favor to get the skinny on this company. Got a friend who would be in the know on Russian oil since he spent 2 years there heading up a major oil companies assets there.

Anybody think the 12:1 R/S put a damper on buying and making money on this stock.

i do think that the r/s will have some affect. if you do the math with the figures that we are given the stock is really undervalued. apx 3.50 post split or about .30 pre split should be the book value. but there are some out there that feel an r/s is just poison and are scared and just will stayaway because. thats why i think unless some thing bad shows up we are only going to see .07 to .10 i hope i am wrong and i am following this up to .50 but you just have wait and see on this one. monday will tell us a lot about the future and how i will play this imho glta

it seems to me the company would want the post split price to reflect a value close to 3 dollars a share at least over 2 post split, an announcement of a split date well into the future would achieve this, if they do split immediately the price may dip briefly in wich case i will buy all i can get my hands on, if they split right now it would open monday at .312 probably fall into the 20`s and i would snap up all i could afford, selling everything i have and putting it into this! a 1000% is a 1000% !GLTA...

1. The acquisition of Nord Oil is the first in the new direction of the company business plan. The current issued and outstanding shares of BTSI is approx. 340 million and a reverse split of 1:12 will be performed by or before September 1, 2005 resulting in the corporation have a total issue and outstanding post issuance of the acquisition and reverse split to be 216 million. It is fair to say that the short term net asset value of the properties to be closer to $350 million since this would be the use of the actual wells and no further exploration on the probable reserve. Having said that, the net asset value per share is $1.62 and if account any and all reserves of proven and probable without discounting by any recovery rate, the value of the asset is well above $2.5 billion.
3. We expect to complete ground work by end of August and begin production by third week of September.
4. Current management of BTSI does not bring any Oil and Gas experience but financing experience and corporate finance advisory. We will be nominated several other people to the board and US management. We have a strong team onsite in Russia with long history of successful exploration and production.
I hope this provides with with some clarification. Please note that we will release further information in the coming weeks.
Please do not hesitate to send me further inquiries.

Hopefully he got ran over by a bus!!
Heh. That would take a big bus, and then there's still the risk that it would be short sold before it reached Nite (the bus, that is, by Nite of course).

I have another buy order in this morning; Accumulating more. I don't want to be chasing the price up all week.

Oil Has Hit a New Record High, Again NOTE TO EDITORS: The Following Is an Investment Opinion Being Issued by Thomas Kee for Stock Traders Daily. Jun 27, 2005 8:39:00 AM SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/27/05 -- For the 3rd straight session, Oil has reached all-time highs in overnight trading as Traders seemed concerned that the new government in Iran may re-direct the contract awards for developing Iran's Oil reserves to domestic (Iranian) companies. Traders simply feel that this may significantly slow the production of Oil from that region. The continued increase in Oil prices has caused Exxon Mobil (NYSE: XOM) to become the largest company on Wall Street by Market Capitalization ($370.17 Billion), The Oil Services Trust (AMEX: OIH) is near all-time highs, and if ChevronTexaco (NYSE: CVX) weren't in negotiations to buy Unocal (NYSE: UCL) we're sure CVX would be at all-time highs as well. Without a doubt Oil Prices are beginning to influence Wall Street's expectations for earnings.
A detailed review of the companies referenced in this article, of Oil commodities prices, and of the Market itself are available immediately on our Corporate Website:
Hopefully it doesn't take off to fast. I'd like to get some more shares below .03.
