Especially since many people got out at .002 for a loss and now wanting back in. People should probably cancel their buy orders for .001 also.

hey man, i'm not a basher. I did sell all my shares last week for a 50% profit. I couldnt stand the bleeding anymore.
I want to get back in this badly because it just seems like the perfect time for an all gay tv network. There's just a lot of negatives that are holding me back from buying back in.
It seems frank put this PR out to save the pps from dropping more. It just seems to me that this is a very stupid thing to say...yeah it jumped the pps up, but what is going to happen next week when pridevision turns them down?
Whatever...I'll be watching this for years probably. Call me a basher, I dont give a s*%t. IMO though I think all of you are pumpers. This is a message board here to express opinions, etc. Anytime someone says something negative though, there labeled a basher. You guys have issues. Have a lovely weekend. Monday will be interesting.

Could Pridevision (Canada broadcast only) be teaming up with Qtv USA?
From the Headline Media Group website, of which Pridevision is a subsidiary:

--> In December, 2003, PrideVision Inc. entered into an agreement to sell the Canadian operations of PrideVision TV. As part of the transaction, which is subject to approval by the CRTC, PrideVision Inc. will retain the rights to develop PrideVision TV outside of Canada, and a 9.9% interest in PrideVision TV’s Canadian operations.

And Annual and Special meeting of Shareholders report 2003 (dated Feb 26, 2004:
--> objectives: Find a partner for Pridevision USA: No partner yet.. still working on this objective.
--> Pridevision's SALE should generate a gain, projected for 2004

As krecik mentioned, Pridevison's programming was aired on Qtv's signal test this weekend.

This could answer a big question as to how Qtv plans to come up with a lot of quality programming really fast.

Everyone's opinion is welcome here--negative and positive.

Do you have inside info that OutTV will turn us down?

I do find it odd that if a positive response is

made to a negative post, the poster with a more

negative opinion often immediately accuses the

positive poster of labeling them as a basher

because the second poster disagrees--offensive

action.

I don't recall seeing many post that ever called

anyone a basher, but several negative posters use

words like "stupid" to describe those who

believe in QBID.

However, there are lots of posts that imply, "If

the shoe fits.." People make their own choice to

respond to those--why?

I want everyone to make money--me included.

If having belief in this stock makes me a

pumper--so be it.

Really, why does anyone care what we do with our

own money?

I would think that we are the American market.

honestly i believe that there has been a deal in the works for a very long time. i remember discussing the rumours back in august last year that this may be a possibility.

the evidence has been around for a long time that there has been a relationship between Frank and Pride Vision. in a 2001 PR from Pride Frank was mentioned as being in the works of having a network in the US. i believe that this has been a very long plan that is now coming to fruition

things keep getting better and better all the time.

http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/03/031805pridevision.htm

Toronto, Ontario) Q Television Network announced Friday that it has made an offer to purchase Canada's PrideVision TV.

PrideVision was the world's first Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender television network to broadcast 24/7.

The Palm Springs, California Q Television was organized to create an LGBT network in the US. It proves programming via satellite across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

"By acquiring Pride Vision, Q would be able to cut its expenses down on all of its programming costs," Frank Olsen President and CEO of Q Television Network said in a statement Friday.

"It is still early in the game but we feel confident with our bid to purchase the network and further expand Q and the Queer television movement."

PrideVision has not publicly commented on the offer but it would be subject to approval from Canadian broadcast regulators.

Should the acquisition be complete, Q Television network would comply with all Canadian Broadcasting rules and regulations for all of its original programming the QT statement said.

PrideVision recently become embroiled in a bitter divorce battle between its major shareholder and his ex wife. (story)

Bill Craig who owns the controlling interest in Canada's PrideVision owes his ex-wife $1.4 million. The couple broke up in 1993 and for the last seven years he has been in a relationship with another man.

An Ontario Superior Court judge earlier this month ordered a receiver be appointed over Craig's income and assets which consist mostly of his shares in PrideVision.

MTV's gay network, LOGO, is scheduled to begin broadcasting this fall. MTV is part of the giant cash rich Viacom and will be a formidable force for both Q Television and PrideVision.

To be honest, I think Here! and Q should get together. Q with the better programming and Here with the carriers. Then you can say Logo can't tough this. lol But it is great news to get Pride. The GLTB community know them and will get to know Q better.

I was just really impressed with BB's whole theory last spring. It was one of the things that kept me going with Q. So when this broke today, I thought it was only fair to give her major kudos! I mean she nailed this back in May!

Anyway, I was very grumpy this week, hopefully a lot less so next week.

Frumpy and lumpy? Well, if Q comes in big time, I can get lots and lots of "enhancements". Then I can be the former Grumpy, frumpy and lumpy!

Toodleloo,

Wow; a really strong based formed with all that volume and no move. I dont know why anyone was complaining. If it would have gone up right after the release it would be a short spike. Cant call it yet but after all that volume before ticking up, it looks like an uptrend has started. If they win the bid I dont think the OS will be much of a problem anymore; should be a valuable company.

Subscribing to Pridevision TV in the US

For those who are interested, it is possible to clearly receive and legally subscribe to Canadian television services, including the world's first 24/7 all Gay, Lesbian, Bi and Transgender television channel. This can be done from anywhere in the US, including right here in the Southern Tier.

Although it may be worth doing this for Pridevision alone, there are a number of other really good reasons for doing this.

The Canadian services give you unrestricted access to the best of Canadian and US television programming, including full access to both the East and west coast feeds of the major US TV networks. With the right receiver, you even get access to a large lineup of HDTV channels, including east and west feeds of all the major US networks. The US satellite services are restricted to selling you broadcast network feeds only from your local community broadcasters (if available) or you must get permission from the local stations to receive network programming, and then it is only available in an east or west coast feed, not both.
BPM TV - a 24 hour all dance music video channel! (Expressvu only)
24 hours of BBC news plus CBC, CNN and CNN Headline News and much more.
Access to the best of Canadian music.
CBC programming.
BBC Canada - Similar to BBC USA - offers the best of British television.
Pay your bill with US dollars, taking advantage of the favorable exchange rate.
Recently Pridevision has begun showing unedited and uninterrupted gay hard core films begining a 9pm every night and running until the following morning. This is in preperation for the introduction of a second all hard core channel.

So how do you do this? First go to one of these two vendors and buy your hardware;

http://www.global-cm.net/
http://www.kusat.com/go.php?path=/intro.php

You have two basic choices - Bell Expressview, which uses the same hardware as Dish Network in the US, only with a different block of serial numbers, and Star Choice. The folks at Global or Ku Satellites can discuss the pros and cons of these choices with you, and there is a lot of good information on their web sites

It is my understanding that they currently have a deal with both Dish (see Bell Expressview) and with Direct to carry the signal to the US. IMO thats the hook-up [Big Grin]
