bb,from the interviews I have heard think he will be interviewed also. Q is very dynamic within their genre. Looks like they are hitting all bases.

Pennies to Dollars, I agree with your take on the PR--it may not have been monumental news but it was great advertising.
Trader0, yes, football locker room coverage--lot's of potential there.
Entertainers pay their agents to release positive PR's to stay viable in their business.
Why shouldn't we do the same?
We are still working to get our name/identity recognition out there.
I am still amazed at how many people have never heard of QTN.
The above PR provided information to investors, future viewers and advertisers.
Since only select cities have access to viewing QTN, IMO it is prudent to maintain potential customer interest and anticipation for any new show, play, movie or entire network.
Isn't that why there is a blitz of PR's and appearances for the new TV shows every fall?

I think the PR should have been titled different an worded different myself. It should have focused more on Q on the Move with the Superbowl as a topic alone with the Sundance reference and other exploits of the show. Sorry but the way it was written really made it sound silly instead of what great advances the show looks forward to. Makes you think next they will be at the Daytona 500 giving it the gay side, lol. Sorry. But we have had great PR's and accumalation is the key at these prices. Just shows how Q is becoming more then just a fluke. But please fire who wrote this PR. Most have been great.
But hey, I bet it gets attention anyway.

Ric, I'm with you regarding the PR. Hmmmmm... My guess is they are: 1) trying to establish themselves as a credible network that is "alive and well," filming at major events is something that real networks do 2) hoping to maintain some amount of attention from investors, possible subscribers, etc while they are working on the "big" PRs...frankly, I'd rather them do that then dissapear for a couple months. 3) Sort of related to #2, hoping to prop up the PPS a bit from this decline.
By the way, wasn't it Q on the Move that is going to air this month in the "150 locations?" I'm sure the recent attention placed on that show is in getting some great episodes ready...
On another topic, if we do end up seeing the .002s, it will be interesting to see if this past support of .0025 is of any significance.
Happy Trading everyone, ~River~

Check this out, from another board!! ==================================== More due diligence! When did Q has the ability to reach six million subscribers? Read the following article or access the link!
A Washington, D.C. native, the only child of a classical pianist mother, Rachel Panay has been honing her craft since the age of eight. At Duke Ellington High School for the Performing Arts, she trained formally in voice, dance, and musical theater and wrote her first composition, “Gun of Love", which became WPGC Washington, DC's theme song for its "Stop the Violence" campaign. After graduating from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Rachel's unique style emerged as she became deeply involved in the Boston live music scene, experimenting with the genres of Jazz, Acid Jazz, Pop, R&B, and even Latin Funk. Her original track "Desire" brought her to the attention of Boston based DJ’s and promoters and with their encouragement, Rachel continued to move in the Dance/House direction with follow-up, “Shine On” which garnered an even more enthusiastic response and later landed on Miami’s SFP Records.
Upon attending the Winter Music Conference of 2001, Rachel relocated to Miami to collaborate with several production teams leading to the signing and release of additional original productions “You Make Me Feel” sited in Billboard Magazine as one of the top Dance tracks by an emerging artists, “I Still Want You”, currently on Music Choice’s Dance channel, as well as her first major label appearance on BMG Latin’s remake of Foxy’s “Get Off” currently available on BMG’s Latin Party compilation and Verano 2003. While in Miami, Rachel also performed for the most high profile of events including Winter Party, White Party, Mr. Miami International, Miami AIDS Walk, Aqua Girl and more and had a regular series of performances at Frankie & Johnny’s, The Cactus Club and the Hotel St. Augustine where she presented her originals alongside Jazz standards and uniquely presented covers.
During the fall of 2003, Rachel began to promote the track that would capture the ears and imaginations of dance floors, DJ’s and fans everywhere, “The Walk of Shame”. Written with good friend and collaborator, Steven Billing, the song soon came to the attention of DJ Angelo Kortez whose subsequent Palacio Edit was selected by Rosabel to appear on their Fireball CD compilation on Centaur Records.
But this was only the beginning…DJ Yiannis Elia, resident of Washington, D.C.’s Velvet Nation took the vision to an entirely new level, creating a track that would be for Rachel, the definitive version, a vehicle for her voice and for the persona that she had created to convey the song’s message of an evening’s adventure that ends in humiliation and shame. The underground buzz around the track continues to build here in the States and abroad and “The Walk of Shame” is steadily treading the path to club Anthem status. Two high profile performances of the track at Nation's Love March and Washington, D.C.'s Cherry Party 2005 sealed its fate as a track of and for the people!
During the fervor surrounding “The Walk of Shame”, Rachel was busy working on a new collaboration with Josh Harris, formerly of renowned remix team, The Passengerz. Their first single, “Back to Love”, is now out on Act 2 Records and is currently #9 with a bullet on the Billboard Dance Chart at the time of this publication.
It was recently featured on DJ David Knapp’s White Party 2 compilation CD, and will also be included on the upcoming Queer as Folk compilation CD on Tommy Boy Records. “Back to Love” is also going strong at radio and retail, and will receive national television exposure through Rachel’s featured performance and interview, filmed a few short weeks ago with Q On the Move, on the Q Television Network, which reaches 6 million subscribers!
With Filtered House, Soulful House, Tribal Anthem, Breakbeat, Circuit House, and Lounge edits, as well a Pop Radio Edit that has already started to cross over onto mainstream radio, “Back to Love” is proving to be Rachel’s bridge to span across the many sub-genres of Dance and be embraced by all audiences.
Recent highlights in support of “Back to Love” include performances at super capacity venues like Washington, D.C.’s Nation, San Francisco’s The End Up, Tampa’s Chrome, New York’s Club Deep, Boston’s Felt, Miami’s Twist and the infamous Banana Café in Paris! Rachel also appears in more intimate venues with her live band where she weaves a magical web of musical versatility, incorporating Jazz, Cabaret, Broadway standards, R&B, Pop and originals.
Drawing comparisons to her influences Kristine W., Amber, and Ultra Nate, Rachel is poised as a leader in the next generation of vocalists and songwriters who believe that Dance music can and should uplift, provoke thought and feeling, speak the truth, and of course make the floor move and club goers sing along!
Rachel currently commutes between Miami, her hometown of Washington, D.C., & New York City. She performs regularly at club venues and events and is recording new material both in Miami and New York.

Remember this: "Q on the Move" will begin airing on the 150 stations on February 14th, 2005 and will continue for 13 full weeks.
Q is busy filming many events. next up the Supebowl and then I believe some winterfest event.
They need to film many hours of tape and edit it down for whatever length of time for these upcoming shows.

Why would they tape a show and re-run it after the fact? I mean, EVERYBODY watches the superbowl LIVE.... Who would want to watch a rerun of it?!? Kinda of like the movie Titantic... you already knew how it was going to end!
It just occured to me that the blowup PR may be tomorrow, before the superbowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This may have been a ploy by Frank to sucker the remaining DayTraders into dumping on a fluff PR...

I think todays PR was a great thing. I'm surprised so many individuals are dogging on it.
Maybe I'm biased that I live 15 minutes away from Gilette Stadium where the Patriots play. But it is the Super Bowl. Just knowing that the Q crew is out and about is good news to my ear.
And to those equating airing the pice after the game is like a re-run. I disagree, I'm sure th epiece will be more of an entertainment type thing regarding the festivites surrounding the Super Bowl as well as the events of SuperBowl weekend as a whole. Maxim and Playboy parties perhaps?
Should be more of an Enetertainment Tonite Vibe than an ESPN vibe, it's not like they are going to be doing play by play.

good stuff......new carriers will make it fly! But I don't think football players will be very happy with: "Q Television Network, (Pink Sheets: QBID) announced today that Jackie Enx and Nick Oram will be in Jacksonville, Florida this weekend to cover the gay side of Super Bowl XXXIX. "
I'VE never looked at football as "gay", so I wonder what folks in the NFL community will think? Opinions?
