same here, not in (yet) but watching closely. i think patience is the key with this one. networks are not built in a day, week, month or even year. time, patience........

i dont think its gonna be pr that moves this one. if i was to buy in, i wouldnt be hoping for a "jump". IMO it will be progress that takes it beyond its current status. if this is a genuine venture then patience will pay $$.
IMO
they have a great idea, exicution is the key now....

Frank said we "should" have around 150 stations by Feb. 14, right?
6,000,000 subscribers divided by 150 stations could average around 40,000 subs per station. Of course, stations would have varying subscriber numbers.
So, what is the consensus are 6,000,000 subs possible this month?
Not even likely! I'm the most optimistic person here and I would be shocked if we had six million this early in the game.
However I think we can see that & I also think long before we have that many subs we will be over a buck!

Honestly; how did anyone find that rachel peney website mentioning Q as having 6 million subscribers. I doubt I would have ever been able to find that. What dd techiniques am I not utilizing? Matt

Q on the move will be airing on 150 stations not Q network.
This is a misunderstanding here. We are getting no subs from this. NONE. This is syndicating one of Q's shows to another network which is aring it. How many viewers they have and how they are broadcasting is unknown but most of the 6 million viewers are from that network. They, the other network, is paying us for the right to show Q on the Move for 13 weeks. How much we get from this we dont know but we get no subscribers to the Q network in general. Just getting needed exposer and hopefully once people see the show they will want it and ask there cable company to carry Q Network. Now thats the real value of this.

We are also missing a very key element to Q. What if we have a hard time getting carriers but have great shows. What if Q becomes the largest production network of GLBT programming. Syndicating shows to Logo, Bravo, Showtime, Oxygen, WE, and other networks. Q producing and getting rights to gay games and festibles and selling the rights to these major carriers. Q producing quality gay movies and sitcoms. There is more things out there for Q Network then just a television company. This could be the gay version of Dreamworks or other production companies. Q doesn't have to have its own channel to be great and they are proving that with the syndication of Q on the Move and QLive.

Almost everyone agrees this is going to take a significant announcement to move. That's what I'm waiting for. So patience and accumulating shares is my game plan for the duration until this puppy launches.

Waaaahhhh! Waaaaahhh! Waaaaaahhhh! I was hoping this would be considerably higher.
My wife is away visiting her family and I has hoping to show her a BIG NUMBER in my brokerage account and would make up for her finding out about my OVERDRAFT in my CHECKING ACCOUNT!! ha ha
Then I could buy her a new house, cars, private school for the kids, exotic vacations, beach house, an extreme makeover, a maid, weekly visits to the spa , etc. and any leftover money for myself would pay off my overdraft!
The Palm Springs Police force has just broken into the offices of Q Television Network using a search warrant (brought about by angry family members of QBID shareholders as the shareholders all reside in mental institutions for spending the last 5 years checking for QBID Pr's on a 24/7 basis, the elusive BIG PR, the Holy Grail of PRs, that would supposedly improve their lifes ten-fold when they could just see that things are great now).
The police could only find a few recordings of QLive that played over continously on an offshore web-site and was never actually on TV. Also found on the wall was a picture of George Michael and George W. Bush holding hands as they both found out that they have something in common.
As for Frank Olsen, he is the richest man in the world living on the Cook Islands for tax protection. His favorite quote is "Thank God for QBID shareholders continously hyping my company so I could sell billions of shares for me and my friends". It was reported he gave $10 million to AIDS research.

I think Ric trades Forex...isn't that right, Ric? So that has him up at those crazy hours.
Hey, Ric, I'd appreciate any advise you might have about how I can educate myself regarding Forex and possibly jump in for the fun. What's a good way to start out? Have the returns been good for you? What is your strategy, etc etc? (if you want to PM it to me that would be cool...and I understand if you are busy taking care of your wife and cannot reply)
Wishing you and your wife the best, ~River~

He hasn't told me much about trading but he said there is a free trial program on forex.com that lets you trade the real market, real time, with fake money. From what I remember, Ric said it runs with trends, moves slow for a while and then bursts with activity. Don't take my word for it. Matt

I think that the Mlon situation shook everyone who deals with the pinks. And it had a negative effect on the market. There are those who are now saying to buy Mlon at 0.0001-0.0002 because its not over yet.
There are those posters like Melon on the board trying to place QBID with Mlon as scams. We cannot compare apples and oranges. Mlon really did not have anything going, while the "Q" has
The "Q" is not a scam and we will be very happy that we are holding this one.

I agree doc, Q is definitely no scam! I am saddened to see high .002's today, but at the same time I am getting ready to load up on more shares. Big things are in the works, and as the old saying goes, "Good things come to those who wait!"
Enjoy your weekend everyone. May next week bring nothing but good things to you and our Q!
