i was just on the qant forum....every other month i fall behind everyone else because i'm on day-shift and can't trade. looks like a lot of our friends/family got in qant. not sure if any of them are still in though.

Report from a posted attended Sundance film last weekend.
----------------- Sundance Film Festival Experience:
I had the fortunate experience to meet with Tom Zamora (Executive Vice President/ Worldwide Advertising Sales & Marketing) and David Lee (?) on Saturday up in Park City, Utah.
Let me start off by saying how awesome it was to see QTV with my own eyes! They had a table with all sorts of QTV “stuff” located in the Queer Lounge. There was a very nice folder with all sorts of information about QTV and what they have to offer. There was also A LOT of information about the Gay Games and their programming. Mounted on the wall directly above all the information was a huge Flat Panel LCD TV with QTV playing! Tom and David pinned a very nice PINK rose with the QTV Logo on a card on my fiancé and I coats. One more thing….they also were giving out microwave popcorn with the Q Logo on it!
I introduced myself as an investor to the company and they were both very excited to meet me. Tom immediately started commenting on how well the company is doing. He asked if I had heard the news of Catherine Rasenberger. Of course I said yes. He stated that she is VERY respected up at the Film Festival. He believes that she is the key for our carriage agreements. Of course I ran with that comment and asked when I will be able to see QTV in Salt Lake City…both Tom and David looked at each other with a rather sly look and David stated, “VERY SOON.” I could tell by the looks on their faces that they were not going to give me any more information than “Very Soon.” I almost felt like they were “winking” at me to tell me something is coming. THIS SENT CHILLS DOWN MY SPINE.
More on the festival…Tom stated that all of their live programming is being filmed up in Park City. I could not believe how many people walking around town had the PINK Rose pinned to their coats!! Our competition was also there. Here TV! Also had a big banner set-up, but I did not see anyone pushing the station….only the banner.
FRANK - FRANK – FRANK: Of course I asked if Frank was up there…..they stated he was and would be there shortly and should be in Park City until Thursday! MORE CHILLS DOWN MY SPINE! They both told me to look out for the “big SUV’s with the orange QTV logo on it.” I couldn’t believe that there was a chance I could possibly meet Frank. I told them both that I was going to wait around to meet him and they stated he loves to meet investors. About an hour later (standing outside having a smoke) sure enough, a black Suburban drove by with an Orange Light on the top (flashing) and the Q Television logo on the sides passed by……WITH FRANK IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT! It almost looked as though they were going to stop and let Frank out, but started to speed off at the last minute. I was literally shaking…..I assumed they were going to find a parking spot and come in. I waited for another Hour-and-a-half….and no Frank. I had prior engagements back in Salt Lake City, so I had to leave. I was VERY UPSET, but excited to see and meet Tom and David.
When I couldn’t wait any longer, I went back to Tom and David and told them I had to leave. They stated they were sorry that Frank wasn’t there yet. I shook both of their hands and said, “GOOD LUCK TO YOU GUYS.” Tom came right back and said, “GOOD LUCK TO US!!!!”
I am going to email some pictures out and have them posted on this site (IHUB).

Nobody posted the info on the Q Lounge at Sundance? I finally looked into it. IMO there's good & bad:
--> Great, Qtv is in some fine company. Other official sponsors are COORS & STELLA ARTOIS, and the presenting sponsor is ABSOLUT.
--> But, when Qtv said they were "co-sponsors" I didnt realize it meant there were 10+ other sponsors total and they were just one of them. I don't like that Here tv is a sponsorship level above us.
--> That said, the above point can actually be good, cuz if Planet Out, The advocate & Here tv are sponsors along with our Q, then we may see some potential partnerships there.

BB babe. That whole deal there is totally to recognize gay talent in the film industry if I'm not mistaken. I was impressed by the attention that this event gets. Gay community is a large segment of hollywood I guess.

Agreed Digdough. It's a big PR party room for a wealth of talent that is finally getting their due.

Thanks QTN, I had just seen that a few minutes ago. I agree also with BB. Sundance should be really nice for the Q. The last hiring also is Huge for the Q. We are all waiting on that carrier (Comcast) PR, we just need to wait. This is feeling kinda weird seeing our Q come around like it has the past year. At first we bought because it sounded like a great idea, and then as the months went by we started to see Q being mentioned in places we never dreamed of. Some people are still in doubt, but look back the past year and see all the things that have happened that did not happen the last time they tried to launch. Feels great and weird at the same time.

I think bigpicks is an idiot, Q is going big when we least expect it. I have the gut feeling and I know very little about all of this. Sounds to me like he might want to purchase my shares which I will not let him have.

not, he is not an idiot. he and his group are smart investors who want to trap newbies by pumping and dumping. obviously they are done with buying and now start selling. imo

i didnt think it was very likely but, i really think we will be in the .0020s soon. we need that pr about hosts and sponsers that we were promised over 2 weeks ago. people arent too happy about be being mislead, hopefully the delay about hosts is worth it.
